Speaking of swimming, Jett had his first swimming lesson last night and OMG it went better than I ever expected. I was thinking we'd have issues because he's never been swimming in a pool (just a paddle in the bath/river) but he was trying to jump in before the lesson even started  Im so glad I got off my lazy butt and finally booked him in as he had a ball and cried when we went home. I definately recommend lessons, they are super fun! Was so nice to be weightless for 30min but Im not sure how everyone else faired seeing my chunky butt in a swimsuit hehehehe
BBL. Im trying to clean while J is still asleep seeing as I wake up and cant get back to sleep at 6:45 every morning now....

Im enrolling Julia in swimming lessons at our local pool today too shall be good.
Im curious some of the girls on here have mentioned their toddlers/babies sleep in in the morning, but Julia has always woken up early, so it would be great to hear from you when they all wake up in the morning and how long you keep them up until their morning sleep if at all. If we are at home Julia always wakes up at 6am and then I put her to bed at 9am, but if we go out in the morning she doesnt sleep til after lunch.

Belle, ruby has one sleep a day regardless of what time she's woken.Today she woke just after 5am but i gave her a drink and she got out at 6am. So today she will most likely go 1130am,sleep for 1 and half and go to bed tonight at 7ish. If she sleeps in she will go to bed round 1230pm.
Hows your hand by the way? And i totally agree with someone who said you are responsible for your own health and look after you matey even if hubby wont. If he is not being suppostive then what type of husband is he? Sorry but it ****es me off when you have a genuine illness and i thought marrige was in sickness and in health. To me it sounds like he dont give you the emotional support.Sprry to vent.Just sticking up for you.

Well Belle my mother never EVER let us get out of bed before 7:30/8:00am even as small babies so we were trained into sleeping until then or even later. So I sort of did the same with Jett, but never really had any sleep issues so it was easy. Lately he's been waking at 6:30/7:00 but that is waaaaaaay to early for me (even though I'll often toss and turn til 7:30 and then get up anyway) so I just change him, give him a sippy of milk and leave him. Most times he goes back to sleep but sometimes he'll cry until he gets cuddles and then he goes back to sleep. If he gets up for the day at 7:30 he'll be ready for a nap at 10:30, if he gets up at 8:30/9:00am he'll be ready for a nap at 12pm or thereabouts. So he's up about 3hrs before the whingy tiredness kicks in. Obviously if we go out he sleeps when we get home but often snoozes in the pram around his normal nap time.
The only upside to ME getting up at the crack of dawn (in AnnaT-world anyway, maybe Nelle world too lol) is that I get to clean uninterupted.

Jodi.. i hope everythings ok hun.
Belle.. Jesse use to wake between 7-8am. But now its 6am because of the sun light. Once day light saving kicks in then i think it will be back to 7-8am. But before if he woke before 7am i would go in, give him a dummy and leave him there until after 7am. So perhaps, if you dont already have some, some block out curtains might be a good idea. You can get them at spotlight and they block out all traces of light. I only have materical curtains but am thinking of sewing some block out on the back of them. So currently he's up usually around 6.30am and then goes down for his morning sleep at around 10am. Previously with the later waking it was 11amish.. or just whenever hes starting to look tired really. If hes not tired i hold off on putting him down as its just gonna be a ***** fight and he wont sleep. Have never had any problems with his day sleeps that way. If hes not tired by about 11.30am i dont bother with a morning sleep, i give him his lunch and see how he is then. Usually after a full tummy he'll be tired and then goes in for a nap.

Thanks so much for your thoughts everyone. Nina is teething really bad ATM and is screaming the house down all night. Heath and I are taking turns at trying to comfort her at night. So we're getting absolutely no sleep. During the day is fine as she's preoccupied, it's the nights we can't handle. I've tried every teething relief I can find here, but nothing is working. I've also taken her to the dr, and she doesn't have an ear infection or anything. There are about 6 teeth trying to break through all at once. I just pray they come through soon.
Another issue is that she's hating have a full nappy at night ATM as well. So I'm having to change her at least twice overnight just to please her.
I won't be on much while she's like this. I can't keep up with everything, and I'm too damn tired. Heath hasn't been working as he's too tired as well.

HUgs Jodi I hope that those teeth come through quickly for you.
Well Eithan looks like he has lost weight, his chubby face isnt so chubby anymore. He still wont eat but he managed some water this morning. Yah he is not alergic to AB. I was sooo nervous as he hasnt had them before, but all is good.
Shell-your post made me chuckle but I cant remember why, but I have 1 question, How do you put up with your own farts, or do you just suck em back up?
Love

Hmm might have to think bout taking Ash swimming, might ask Df if he wants to do it so it can be an Ash and daddy thing they do together.
HelenP- I suck em back up, oh that made me laugh, I just don't fart.
Jodi- big hugs, god hope she settles down for you soon, its awful to see them like that too and not be able to soothe them.
Belle- Ash used to wake up bout 7:30-8 and she used to play for a bit too now she wakes too early, if she wakes at 6 or before I can usually give her a feed and get her back down but if she wakes near 6:30 I can't get her back to sleep but i refuse to get up before 7 so she just has to stay in her cot til then! Oh and she usually has a nap bout 11-11:30ish, just one a day now.
Ok better get myself organised for the arvo. Gotta drop Ash off at a friends place so I can head off to this union meeting in the city.

Yeah Ambz, me and a mate from the Cloth nappy thread are going on the Friday. :) I think it'll be better than last year, last year Riv was less than a month old, and it was my first nappy change and feed in public and all the toys were kinda irrelevant - this year it should be more interesting.
Oh and Savanna, as always, is a cutie.
Glad to hear from you Jodi, sorry that El Nino's having trouble with her teeth, hope it's all over sooner rather than later!
Hope you're having fun, Shell, you activist you. :p
Can't type much more,Rans is bounching Riv on the bed and it's hard to type. :p
