looks like it the day for cleaning rooms....ive just out the boys into one room and their not happy with me cause i have a heap of stuff to go on ebay and a heap to the trip. Ive sort of started on Vy's - well atleast she can get to her bed tonight pmsl..not like River Nelle ;) and OMG you should see the babies room.....$hit everywere!
Going for adip in the pool after 7 with the kids then I'll get back into it

Annie - **** I PMSL at you...sounds like something jed and I would do but hey atleast you got up and walked.....thats half the battle won

So kell and Nelle are you both moving your boys into new rooms so new bubs can be closer?

well am making key lime pie from my 4 ingredeint book tonight always wanted to make it :lol: funny thing happened though I had sperated the eggs you need 4 egg yolks beated them as I opend tin of condensed milk I turned it upside down anyway I noticed it was very caramel color thats when I noticed the use by date 05 :eek:
anyway Jase offered to goto IGA for another tin and more eggs, well he comes back with 5 bags of stuff softdrink chips etc as I am unpacking Iam like ummm wheres the condensed milk he had put it on the shelf while he put softdrink into basket :lol: and left it there so he goes I'll be back off he goes and comes back with tin and chocolate

I tells ya sending him to IGA for 2 things can be expensive :lol:

Yeah boys do get a bit carried away at the shops sometimes hey Rach. :p Never mind, I'd still rather that than do it myself!!

Yep Shell, there's 3 rooms sorta in a row and Riv's gone from the room next to us, to the furthest room away. He WAILED when I first shut the door, and Rans pushed me from his door to the lounge and went 'ooh, you can hardly hear him from here - can the new baby go in there too?' :rolleyes: Honestly!
He's settled now though. :)

Oh that is a pity Meg - can you reschedule? Dinners are fun! Were you going to get a sitter?

Ohh Rans is going to go get us KFC (neither of us wants to cook after doing the great room move!) and my mouth is watering already! :p Oh, and he put a shirt on and headed out the door, and he'd put his shirt on backwards! :p I shouldn't have told him...hehe.

Shell.. yep. Our room is at the front of the house and the other 2 rooms are at the back end. I can hear Jesse usually fine but just incase i cant hear bubs in the other room (which is the furthest away). Plus the room Jesse's going into is twice the size so can put all his toys and stuff in there that bubs cant get to once its older.

Maz.. how are the boys liking their bunks? I bet theyre loving them! I always wanted bunks as a kid.

Nelle.. mmmm KFC.

Ohhhh...:( Riv's not too happy bout his new room. My going in made it worse though, so I guess I'll just wait it out. He'll have to get used to a new room though, cos we're going on holdiays soon and will be sleeping in new places all the time.

Well i think my bad luck should be just about over soon.

Not feeling the best with the heat (40 degrees today) and was watching a very graphic vid of a c section and i fainted.

so was made to drink some powerade and have some loolies, feeling better now.

then Annika runs through the house, trips over and smashes her face on the book shelf and we have a blood nose.

God Ness, hope tomor is a whole better day. Hope you are keeping your fluids up too. Hows Annika's nose? I'm always stressing when Ash runs around cause she never looks where she is going, we've had few blood lips and bruises.

Nelle, maybe once its all set-up and looking like his old room he'll settle better? Does he have any sort of comfort thing? Maybe give him a fav soft toy or something to take to bed with him?

When we moved we automatically put Ash in the furtherst room ready for when we do get around to number 2, plus her room has bigger cupboard, thought that very important for a girl.

So have your boys settled ok Maz? I shared a room with my sister for years, and I think the thing my parents hated was when we'd talk all night instead of sleeping! We used to get told off all the time for it.

Rach- Lol, at least you can have a nice pig out tonight with all those yummy treats.

Nelle.. has he got all his comforts in there (if he has any)? It might not work, but maybe giving him one of your shirts or something might make him feel more at home if he can smell you iykwim? Dont know if it this age theyre past that idea though.

Turns out Ran's idea of putting the blankets in the vacuum bag and then putting them under our bed translates into piling that, along with a whole lot of other crap onto our bed...

Anyway, I'm doing washing now, so I WON'T be distracted. Just mentioned to dh that I assume he's halfway through and will finish before bed. I suppose it's encouraging that he looked slightly sheepish.

Yeah, Riv's got his lion in there, and a blanket - he doesn't sleep with blankets ON in this hot weather. But the cot's the same, so still the stuff attached to the edge of the cot. Methinks the big difference is that it's got rubbish curtains instead of the pull-down blind, so it was a whole lot lighter. Perhaps a trip to Spotlight tomorrow is in order, and I'll tack some heavy material onto the curtains to make the room darker. That should help with the temperature from the afternoon sun too.

Sheesh I am nesting like I never did with River! I can't rest!! I'm driving myself crazy, because my pelvis joints are killing me but STUFF HAS TO BE DONE!!! :p
Still peeved at Rans though. Anyone else's husbands decide a job is finished when it's half done? What is with that?

My husband is a lawnmower/garden handy man. My lawn is sweet as but there are bushes that need to be pruned!!! I cant see out my front window.lol And no way im touching the garden i hate dirt.

Ha ha Caddie - That always happens. When you are in a trade, you never get around to doing it yourself. My FIL is a landscape gardener, and they hired another landscape gardener to do their garden!!

Nelle - How did Riv go last night?

Shell - I meant to comment on the weaning in my last post and forgot! Well done for feeding so long. It is hard when they self wean. Just watch out for mastitis. I haven't had any troubles so far though.

Rach - I hear ya on the shopping thing.

Ness - How is Annika's nose today?

Kell - Hope Jesse likes his new bed.

Maz - It will be good to sell a few things and have some spare $$$$ when new baby comes.

We are going to have to hold off on the anniversary dinner for a while now. we are just too busy basically from now till March! We have 4 weddings in this time. DH is in one of the weddings, and I am in another. So we also have a few hens nites/bucks plus all the other paraphernalia (SP) that goes with a wedding. I tell you I am really wishing the next few months away. It is all too much, and too expensive!

Since we went away, J has been waking up after every sleep screaming. he is going down alright, but waking up very distressed. Any advice? He woke up screaming at 6:15 this morning. As DH basically worked till 4am, I can't let him cry for a bit, so I am just reinforcing the behaviour by going into him.

Meg- I was worried bout the whole mastitis thing but I'm thinking I was getting very low on milk anyway cause she hasn't fed for days now and my boobs don't even feel full or anything.
Does J scream also after he wakes from day sleeps or just overnight? I did read in 'the mighty toddler' about some toddlers doing this. I don't see the harm of going in, giving him a cuddle, does he usually get up at that time anyway? Maybe try resettle him see if he'll go back to sleep.

Nelle- Hope that bed got sorted out! Lol, I think at my place it would more likely be me that does a half job. I usually start something then shove it aside and eventually get back round to it sometime!

This heat is draining me, even with air con on I still feel exhausted.

Nelle- how did last night go??

Meg- Annika nose seem fine this morning she sleep straight through the night so it mustnt have bothered her.


I am still feeling slightly dizzy, dont know why. I think i may have to just have the GD test. Never had any of this with the girls so maybe it is Blue!!! or just the heat.

Shell- noramally summer doesnt bother me but this weather is beyound a joke hey

Ness, prolly with all this heat and being preg your BP prolly low. I get dizzy in the heat when I don't drink enuff so being preggy you prolly need to take in even more fluids.

Ness ruby is always falling over and hitting her head.She has a permanent lump! Makes me feel sick everytime she does.Yesterday i was walking with her on my hip and then she suddenly leans out when i go through a door,a whack the side of her head she hits....
Does your girls get jelous over each other? When millana comes to my lap ruby starts screaming and tries to get millana out of the way. Sometimes they play so well but gee other times...Im going to be in so much trouble at puberty.
Meg weddings cost a fortune dont they!Especially when you got to hire a suit,pay for accomidation,present,hens parties etc. One wedding my hubby was bestman cost us almost a grand. Ridiculus.

Caddie- omg they are exactly the same as your girls. If i am hugging one the other comes running over and climbs all over me too and atm i dont really have room for two in my lap. Then when they play Teleah gets a bit aggressive and they normally end up fighting. Annika will even hit Teleah back now. They both always want to play with what the other one is.

Meg- oh man 4 weddings, i had to save for 6 months just to pay for one when i was maid of honor

Shell- yeah i am trying to keep my fluids up but i forget all the time

I ended up lying on the floor this morning and having a snooze while he calmed down. I really dont wnt it to turn into a habit of me having to go in every time coz he is screaming. It is happening sometimes during the day aswell. Oh well just have to persevere.
I was like you Shell, my supply was low anyway, I have had no trouble, although I still have a little milk. I can't wait to get my "normal" small boobs back instead of the whopper DD's I had. (I was a B) You sure your not preg Shell? You have been tired a bit lately :P

Poor Ruby. Oh well, she will get better on her feet and stop falling so much before you know it!

I'm gonna be bridesmaid for my friend in July, I don't think we'll be put out too much. She is gonna give us the material for the dress and then we can go get made whatever style we want out of it.
The wedding is in Adelaide but we're just gonna make a family holiday out of it, we haven't been away for ages and it falls into school holidays so perfect timing. Sure I can find cheap flights somewhere.

Lol meg, it would have to be emaculate conception! I loved having BB's I am looking forward to getting new bras though, the mat ones are just too big now. Hopefully J's screaming will just be a short term thing, Ash does it sometimes in the middle of the night, she'll wake so upset but she very easily settles with a quick cuddle.

Meg.. thanks hun. Um.. is he waking screaming because he's scared? or because hes awake and wants out of bed? If its the second one, maybe you can put a soft book in his bed or something to keep him occupied for a little while longer?

Ness.. are you getting enough iron? Bubs can take alot away from you. I know with Jess they said my iron levels were a bit low, being we are both so pale too. Maybe also try and get a bit extra iron in your diet?

Well.. best get going.. DH picked up jesse's bed this morning yay.. and we have some friends coming over for lunch. So wanna get jess in bed for a nap before hand.

Kell - He doesn't seem scared. Ireally think it is for attention, then he gets himself worked up. He has some soft toys in there already. He used to wake up happy and play with his toys. Poor little thing. I hate seeing him upset.

Is he teething? Jesse goes through a simliar thing when hes teething. I go in and make sure he knows im not far away but just let him sort it out himself. I know its hard, i hate seeing them upset too.

Mmm good thought Kell - Ness it might be a combination of low blood pressure and low iron? Can you get some bloods done to check your levels? Otherwise try a liquid supplement, won't do you any harm, and is pretty easily absorbed.

Yeah Riv ended up going alright, even the toilet flushing didn't seem to bother him! So I think it was just a settling problem, and I need to try and get the room a bit darker. Cos he seemed fine once it was dark outside. :)

I had my bloods done last friday and i think they came back ok as i havent heard anything.

I rang my midwife today as well just in case and she said she has been getting alot of phone calls as alot of her cliets are going through the same thing in this heat, so just to keep my fluid levels up and make sure i am eating properly.

OMG - you girls can talk!!!!!! I cant even get my head around it atm...to screwed up in there.

I have to reload MSN on this new computer (ive been slack) but it will have to wait.

I did read through the post and im glad to see that im not the only one with a child who wont leave me be. She hasnt had a sleep today and it being a royal pain. I can even go to the loo without her screaming and omg trying to put her down to sleep at night has been anightmare. She scremed for 2 hours last night. I just cant take it anymore. Jed thinks it anxiety cause I have been in and out of hospital so much the last few weeks.
Is this normal?? I so cant remember atm....Caddie, did you have this trouble with Millana?

I have read all posts, but don't really have time to reply. We've only just arrived home after travelling in the car for 4 days. We had to leave earlier than we wanted to because of the rain, we didn't want to get caught in flooding. Now the fun job of unpacking everything.

ME!! *races to pack bags* - somewhere where we can lie in hammocks reading magazines and drinking cold drinks - and go for a swim when we want. Maybe a massage too.

Ooh Maz, how is getting ready going? Mat's room looking a bit more ready? All your nappies stacked and ready to go?

I made scrambled eggs for tea (with a whole lot of other ingredients in there too) - Rans is feeding it to Riv right now, and then we'll have it...I want mine on toast. Mmmm....I keep forgetting how much I like scrambled eggs and it's just so darned easy! :p We're outta eggs now though.

Yes maz,totally. Would get hysterical as soon as i would leave the room,have a shower,toilet. This is why i now have a millana jean sleeping with me every nite. She goes to bed first but ends up in our bed during the night. I think she did have some upheaval with ruby coming in our lives but she does love her and is way better now. Its more the typical 3yr old stuff now. But i also blame and aaron and myself because being the first she was the centre of everyones attention!
Also i think alot of behavios was due to tiredness.She stopped a/f sleeps as soon as ruby came home.I would try and get her to rst in the lounge but she would only fall asleep when sick.

Rach i dont know how jack eats a cup and a half of sultanas as ruby had like 10 and got the ****s! Whole sultanas in her poo! and diarrhoea... Go figure

Weather up here is pretty good actually, poor Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast & Brisbane is copping all the rain. Fortunately the roads weren't too bad on our way home though.

Just got back from my mum's. Her next door neighbour has a pool. We are very close with the neighbour. So J and I sent the day in the pool!

Yeah we did have a good holiday. Bummer we had to come home though, another month or so away would have been lovely!! We've spent way too much money though. Those boxing day sales are a killer.

Nah they both dont come into my bed.Ruby has never once! She either sleeps in her own cot or when she was sick with toncillitus i slept in her room in a bed.

Df is leaving me tommor morn for 12 days! I'll be a single mum. He's going to summer school in Armadale, NSW. Only upside is he get $5,000 for it, not bad for the 100 hours he'll do there. My sister is gonna come stay couple nights keep me company.

Ok just got home from work so better spend some time with DF before he goes!

Nelle I haven't wanted to say anything bout the weather seeing as your all sweltering today probbaly was the worst day since late nov xmas was beautiful cool rainy overcast weather even now its only getting to 32c each day max when normally we would be sitting 39c + this time of year, we actually went a bought jack a jumper and some warmer jammies after xmas :redface:

Caddie Jack loves sultanas he isn't so much now but a month back watch out he would eat and eat, I was told to be careful he didn't get constipated by CHN but as he drinks on average 1 ltre + water a day it seems fine yeah we get the whole sultana in the #2 but thats no biggie its something healthy he can munch on between meals

Ok I need help I know I have always said I just go with the flow with Jack we are fighting bedtime now he will only go down if we lay on our bed with him and then it can take 1/2 hr he also will not settle before 9.45pm just before xmas he was going into his cot semi awake at 9pm and self settling but with being away sleeping in port-a-cots he is totally out of whack I hate CIO but tonight he was whiny as hell we popped him in cot a 8pm he screamed so much he was sick :cry:so got him up gae him shower change etc, ended up offering him a bottle and some infants friend at 9pm mad ehim lay on couch no playing tried putting him in cot again screamed and screamed even though he was half asleep on lounge when we moved him, so Jase had to lay down with him :(I just dont know what to do........

I thought sultanas kept them regular?

Rach, that sounds like lovely weather! Our bedroom is boiling tonight, thank goodness a cool change should be here any minute!
Sounds tough with Jack...perhaps get him self settling first, by putting him in his cot, going out, when he wails, go back in and start again. Something else you could do is sit in there with him, with a book if there's enough light, or just in the dark, so he knows you're there and see if he'll settle that way? Dunno. I've noticed they're getting to tantrum age though, so it's just a matter of knowing what is real upset, and what is just screaming because they didn't get their way but now they can't remember why they're screaming but they're all worked up!
Whatever you do though, you're going to have to be persistent, til he learns what the new routine is. Perhaps some cues like a book before bed or something, so he knows what's coming? I'm sure the others will have some good ideas.

He's going great thanks for asking Nelle :) Recovery has been 100x easier this time round (not that it was bad the first time), I just seem to look and feel better, the bleeding isnt as bad. The exhaustion is though :lol: Last night was our best night, actually dont remember much of it. We do alot of our night feeds lying down in bed because Im so tired :redface: My milk has come in so although boobies are sore Ripley is feeding longer and going longer between feeds. Jett has had a few moments and is very clingy to me but guarantee'd the first words out of his mouth in the morning is "Baaaaaaaaaby".

AnnaT.. glad things are going so well for you! I always wondered what the recovery would be like second time round.. gawd, it couldnt be worse than my first time thats for sure!

Jodi.. what a lovely name! I like the Y in Jayne too. We've picked some names so far, but are waiting to hopefully find out the sex before we make them definate. Funny thing is..i dont know if anyone remembers, but i had a dream that i had a boy and called him a certain name.. now thats the name we are having so far if its a boy!

Meg.. how'd james go this morning? Did that bed get used?

Maz.. i bet thats exactly what it is with Vy. With you going to hospital a few times, she doesnt know when youre gonna leave next so she's being very protective of you. Very hard indeed. I guess just have to show her you love her, as you do, lots of kisses and cuddles etc.

DH and FIL picked up Jesse's new car bed yesterday morning.. its very cool. Have to set it up now and get his things moved into his new room.
