Jodi- I hope Nina is better, how did your night go with her? At least if you have gone to the hosp you should get seen quick if you go early. Glad you had a great night out with Heath, prolly just what you needed.
Thats terrible to hear poor boy is in hosp with menningicocal. So scary, it comes on so quickly. I hope he gets better.
Laurin- You'll have few tough nights but just stick with it. I know when I was trying to get Ash to stop feeding over night it took 3 nights. I used to just sit by her cot and rub her back and everytime she stood up I'd lay her back down and just rub her back til she gave up. I hope you find something that will work for you.
Nelle- I'll be expecting a text! I was your belly buddy last time so I want to know again this time too! Did you get my smart ass text last night.
AnnaT- Good luck with ttc and the girl recipe.
I'm so mean to poor Ash, we play hiding and jumping out saying boo but this morn I gave such a fright she fell backwards! She still laughed though and thought it hilarious. Uh oh I've just noticed she is taking everything from her playroom outside, better get off here.
-
Whooohoo Laurin congratulations. I wonder who will be your preg buddy from this group. As Shell and Meg say we always go in pairs or more.
JOdi-How is Nina today?
Caddie-Are you feeling better now?
Things are a lot better here now. We still have life issues but our relationship is back on track now.
Hope everyone is well.

:happyforyou:
I just got text from Nelle:
Silas (no middle name yet) 7lb 9oz born 6am under the shower at home after a very intense HOUR, caught by Rans, lost 2 litres, mum and bub great.
Congrats Nelle!!!
-
Fantastic news, congratulations nelle! What a quick labour. :happyforyou:
Nina is so-so. I wouldn't say she's better, but she's not as sick as last night though. Her temp started rising last night and she was vomiting. We were going to take her in to the hospital, but then her temp dropped after some panadol. She's definitely not herself though. She's not eating, so I'm pumping the water through, which she's still drinking.
helen - that's great to hear that you're getting your relationship back on track with Leith.
-
that is fantastic news shell, thanks for passing it on, i just told craig how he was born, and now hes shi**ing himself....
-
lol chrissy, Heath is doing the same thing! I told him he'll need tips off his brother (he's a paramedic and has delivered a few babies now)!!
But you'll probably only get one contraction and need to push, with your history of labours.
-
not sure about that jodi, but my hospital WONT induce me, so he is even more worried now
-
Oh My Gosh-That is wonderful news Nelle. Glad to hear that Rans is a good catch. 2 ltrs is a reasonable amount isnt it? She must be very tired. Oh I bet they are glad that River sleeps in LOL. So happy to hear the news. Silas thats a boys name?
Jodi-Poor little Nina. Glad to hear that she is still taking in the fluids.
Chrissy-How are things? Is bub still getting monitored, I am sorry but I have lost track.
Love
-
Congratulations Nelle honey - we're all very proud of you!! woo Hoo I knew it was a boy!
-
chrissy, I can't believe they won't induce you. Considering how short your labours are! Lets hope Craig is as good as a catch than Rans is then!
helen - 2 litres is a large amount. And she's not very big either, hopefully she's recovering well.
-
Nelle - huge congratulations on your beautiful baby boy, what a labour!!!!:clap::clap:
Helen - thanks for your congratulations and happy that you and Leith have sorted things out, it will sure take some of your stresses away. I am waiting on someone announcing their pregnancy....
Okay, just listening to Rylee chatting to herself in bed.

WOOHOO! Congratulations Nelle!!!
Was that an unplanned or planned home birth? Very scarey! Hope she recovers well!!
Thank gawd we live litterly 2 minutes from the hospital!!!!!
Laurin.. congratulations on your pregnancy!!
-
Yay Nelle OMG thats an awesome labour! You beat me lol Way to go Rans too, how special. Hope your feeling better, cant wait to hear from you. Welcome to our group Silas (fab name!)
It was unplanned Kell as she mentioned before about the hospy being a 24hr stay. If it was planned she would be right to stay at home afterwards.
-
Oh ok.. sorry i cant keep up with every post. Only reason i asked was cos she was at home in intense labour for an hour or so, thought it may have been a planned home birth being she hadnt left for the hospital. I was guessing the reason she wasnt right to stay at home was because of the blood loss. Sorry, my bad!
-
CONGRATULATIONS NELLE, RANS and RIVER!!
Jodi - Hope Nina is on the mend.
Laurin - Good luck with the sleeping. I hope that it goes alright.
J is howling and DH is trying to watch the footy so I will BBL
-
Ended up taking Nina into the dr, and she tonsilitis. Poor pet. So she's on AB now. We should see an improvement by tomorrow. Hopefully we have a good night cause I'm exhausted today. I'm off to bed now.
-
Awwww poor Nina, hopefully those AB's kick in fast and you both get a rest.

-
Congratulations nelle, river and rans on the quick arrival of Silas!!! Way to go. Sounds scary.lol
I lost 2 litres and needed blood transfusions so nelle will be feeling most likely very weak.
Hi helen!! Glad things are improving.
Laurin when do you have your first scan?
Huuby didnt enter my footy tips correctly thus i got 3 tips and not 7. I am so peeved...
-
Caddie-I would be peeved too.
I lost 1.8ltrs with Bella and I was so weak I couldnt even hold her, but the dr didnt give me a transfusion because my heamoglobin levels were good.
Here's hoping Nelle has a quick recovery.

I hope Nina is on the mend.]
We just got back form a play date with a friend. She has a 5 yo, 3 yo and 18 month old. J had a ball chasing the girls around.
-
Jodi- How is Nina? Settled down now shes on Ab's? Poor thing, so many of our bubs have been unwell last couple months.
I'm looking forward to when Nelle gets to pop on here and tell us her story.
Not much going on here, been cleaning, took Ash and nephew to the park. They are so cute together. Ash just adores him.
Me and Df are thinking maybe we'll actually get married this year but we'll see. Won't be anything big, just gotta assess what we can afford and if we want to spend it on a wedding or pump into mortgage!
-
Nelle - Congrats on the fast labour and the birth of Silis!!!!
-
Not much happening here, just a bit of a day of chores today so nothing exciting to tell. Sorry this is short and nothing.
Jodi how is Nina going, hope the AB's are working and she is feeling better and you can rest.
See you all tomorrow.
Laurin

Laurin OMG just saw your ticker! CONGRATS MATE!
-
-
Nina is still sick, AB's haven't seem to have kicked in yet. She would only sleep for short periods of a time today.
shell - woohoo, congrats on getting some wedding plans organised. Well sort of. Even if it's only small, it will still be memorable for you both.
belle - thanks so much for the chat today.
-
Jodi i hope nina gets better soon. When ruby had it she seemed better the next day.Im sure tommorow will be the break through.
Its so wild and wooly here. All my windows and doors are shaking. Scary. Going to upload my latest creations and go to bed.

Um I think Im pregnant
Ive been getting super faint lines since Sunday (10dpo) and this mornings was a tiny bit darker but still super faint. Im terrified of another early miscarriage but Im kind of excited too. Ryan is going to flip so Im not telling him until I know for sure.
I put a pic in the gallery, could you check it out and see what you think? Theyre not photographing well for some reason (stupid new camera).
Holy fricken moly!

Oh my gosh AnnaT!!!! I can't tell from the photos hun, retest in a few days. You're 12 DPO today?? Have you had any symptoms yet?
Jodi - Big  for Nina.
Shell - Congrats on the wedding plans.
-
AnnaT- The pic is way too blurry for me to see anythying but if you can see a line than any line means positive yeah? Congrats! You'll be very busy!
-
**** annat!!! lol. That sure was a quick TTC. Heres hoping everything will be ok.Especially with ryan.At least you will be well and good established in townsville.
-
OMG AnnaT it looks like we will be belly buddies!!! Congrats, test in a few days and the line should be darker!!
Laurin x
-
OMG AnnaT I think test again in a couple of days for a darker line. See Laurin we always go in pairs. Hope you get good news when you test again AnnaT.
Shell-Yah on organising a wedding. We had a small wedding for approx $5000, so it can be done.(that was including the dress).
Chrissy-Thanks for letting me know. I remember now that you were going to a different hospital because of this. All the best.
Well I am having a good/average day. I feel really sick and I am constipated. So I am off to buy some licorice and hopefully this will help.TMI sorry.
Love
-
 Helen.
Any news from Nelle? Just wondering how she and Silas are going.
-
My goodness Anna! You will be busy! (Or should I say you HAVE been busy!)
Wishing you your BFP!
-
OMG AnnaT Congratulations!!!!!! wow!
Seems to be the going thing in here! Always pairs!!
-
Yeah we said thios preg business happens in pairs, just wouldn't have guessed AnnaT!!! I'd been thinking Helen or Rach.
HelenP- Try pear juice, you can just buy at supermarket, great to get you going, I use when needed and we give to our patients too.
Been busy today, been material shopping for my bridesmaid dress (still haven't got but at least we got pattern we wanted). Then had mums group at my place so been full day.
We're very upset, planned for last 2 weeks to go to zoo tomor but after seeing weather report doesn't look like it!
-
Hey girls! :D Just popping in, posted in the announcements thread too with a tad more info, just thought I'd report in to say I'm here now I have the chance - Silas sleeping in my arms, just waiting for him to wake for a feed.
Thanks so much for posting Shell, yeah I did get your message but not straight away you cheeky lady, I didn't check my phone for awhile after that.
No good about your zoo trip Shell - is it going to rain or something? If it's just going to be cold...well, we went to Healseville Sanctuary on a HOT day, and I reckon that sort of thing would be much more enjoyable on a cold day - you can rug up heaps and it'll be less busy, whereas on a hot day, you just swelter with a grumpy baby and nothing you can do!
Oh no Helen. Can you grab something from a pharmacy? Does licorice really help? I just thought it turned your poo green - like fruit loops. :p
Wow Annat, waiting to see how that retest goes for you. You will be fine mate, and if you're not, you're smart enough to seek help. Which is why you'll be fine. :)
That might have to be it for now, I'll try pop in when I can though! :D
-
Nelle-Just about to check out the other thread, great to see you back in here. The licorice was more of a want to eat, plus I had an excuse to Leith to buy some, but I have got some Kiwi fruit in the fridge aswell.
Shell-Thanks for the info re the pear juice. Thinking about it I could really drink some of that, it would go down nicely.
Love
