LOL Ange, yes the vax is a two in one so you can shampoo your carpets and upholstery too - I don't know how I would have coped without it over the years - even just for spills etc its been brilliant.
G, LOL at you feeling all spesh in your new knickers and nightie. I've become like that too and I have a love/hate relationship with spending money.
Clare, how's the pain today? All I can do is send you a
PP, sometimes there are toys in his cot, but he never really plays with them. Most of the time they are only in there because the older three have turfed them in LOL
Cally, fingers crossed his appointment goes well. And I hope you don't have too much trouble finding shoes for Katie, chubby little toddler feet are so hard to fit.
-
Good morning lovelies.
Glad to hear the pain has subsided Claire. Endo sux hey ?
Those cookies sound delicious sherie. I've been making a yummo slice of late, it's easy peasey and no baking required. Just a pkt of biscuits, a block of caramello chocolate and a tin of condensed milk and a little cocunut. Never lasts long tho.
We had a nice long weekend away. Hamish got spoilt rotten with the dozen cousins as usually. He has a ball being carried around all day being constantly entertained by kids aged 4 - 16.
We have our scan tomorrow - yippi ! Fingers crossed all is well, still had no movement yet so will be nice to see bubba again.
H has just woke up, BBL
-
YAY cindy I hope the scan goes well - how exciting to see your bubba! are you finding out gender? oh thats right i think you are PMing all of us except Rainy!!! ha ha ha!!
thx for the input re toys, i wasnt sure what to do... he has been waking up SO early lately... and is still tired, i thought maybe he would have alittle play and then go back to sleep (ha ha wishful thinking)
N is in a bad way today/the last few day - he is getting molars and really suffering poor little man. he also has a bit of a cold... was even a bit off his food this morning...so unlike him
Clare - glad you are feeling a bit better. sounds AWFUL.
-

Just a quick one from me.. Hello to everyone and hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

-
hey everyone,
just thought id share this idea i found on the net for home made baby wipes..
cut a paper towell roll in half
make a baby wipes solution (theres heeeeaaaaps of them just gotta choose the one that u like)
remove the cardboard roll from the middle of the paper towell
pour solution into empty formula tin
place one half of paper towell roll into the tin
wait till it soaks the bottom then place lid on tin and tip upside down to soak the top
pull the inside wipe up and wella its just like a circular wipes container they pull out from the middle..
am giving it a go let u know how it works out :)
-
cindy- best of luck with the scan, i already know it's a girl! he he
hi everyone else, off to my friend's house today for a visit and a play for lewis with her dd. yah!!
have a good one everyone
-
quick question..
dps brother came to us last night and told us his g/f is pregnant.. its a bit of a shock and they havnt decided whether or not they can keep the baby (fingers crossed they do)..
this would be their first baby do u think its wrong to ttc when they would if we conceived next cycle only be a month apart and it would kinda be stealing their moment? some of the family is partial to dp over dps brother.. should we put things on hold because of this if they decide to keep the baby?? what do u think??
-
Noni, your plans shouldn't be put on hold because of someone else's pg - which they may or may not decide to continue. And it wont be stealing their thunder, they will have theirs and you will have yours.
Have fun G
I bet she looks so cute toddling around Leanne.
Mmmmmmm Cindy, that slice sounds so good! Good luck for your scan tomorrow too.
-
Noni- I agree with sherie.
JG- Good luck with the scan
Rainy- have a good day..
As you can tell I am delaying doing my work..
-
cindy - how do you make that slice? though it doesnt sound good for my diet!!
noni - def not re putting the plan on hold... N and his cousin are 10 days apart, was so special to go through the whole preg together and now they are going to grow up close in age. so wonderful. and as sherie said, there i enough 'thunder' for everyone!
-
I hope your right rainy. Although another boy would be AOK too !! Have fun a the play date
Pregpan - Blend (crush) in a food processor a packet of marie biscuits (or milk coffee) then pour into mixing bowl. Blend (crush) the block of caramello chocolate in the same way. Add to mixing bowl. Pour condensed milk over the top, mix well. Add a small amount of coconut to the mixture so it's easier to work with (not so sticky). Then empty mixture into lamington tin or similar (lined with baking paper if you wish). Press flat into tin and cover with more coconut. Set in fridge for about 45 mins before cutting into bite size pieces. Warning it is sweet and addictive - def not on a diet plan but good as a reward maybe  ENJOY !!
Noni - I wouldn't think it would be stealing their thunder at all. What will be will be. Could be nice having cousins so close perhaps.
MD - Hope your having a blast with your family dear.
Leemar - Way to go Livi. Is it really that much harder when they start to walk, Hamish crawls so fast and gets into everything as it is. Have you noticed a big difference since she's been walking ??
Yes we will be finding out the sex. (I think pregpan asked that) can't remember tho.
Claire - What did the Italian homepath say about your endo ?
-
Hi ladies - All is well with MD ;)!
-
JG- OMG Livi is so much quicker now then when she was crawling. The boys chase her around and she actually thinks she can run. Luckily my house is already toddler proof.
She loves getting into the bathroom and putting all the facewashers in the bath tub. (bathroom door, boys and livis doors are the only ones that stay open).
-
md tell us how things are at home... think you better chg your location my dear!!
-
Great Leemar (not) - I won't rush him then, I've got enough to do already !!
Hamish has been asleep for 2.5 hrs now, that's so unlike him and what have I done with that time. Surfed around here and on the net and had a cuppa - that's it. Why is it when I choose not to have a sleep he decides to have a sleep marathon  Yawns
-
JG-lol The fun has just started. Just dont put any pens in there reaching distance cause it will end up on the walls...lol as for H sleeping 2.5 hours I know what you mean.
As for me I had my hair cut yesterday and sat in the carpark crying... What a bunch of stuck up *****es. And they didnt even want to dye my hair they wanted me to make another appointment.. WTF I told them on the phone I wanted it dyed and its hard for me to get time away to go there anyway. That will teach me for taking my MIL advise on hairdressers. Well I wont be going back there again and I will be telling all my friends and family.
-
Awww Leanne. Don't let them get you down. I know exactly what you mean since I've had a similar experience in an underwear shop ... like I wasn't worthy to tread on their beige carpet! Just know that Biatches will always find each other and the rest of us can live happy and fulfilled lives giving them all a huge wide berth!
PP thanks for asking, all well at home, DH has been unpacking his bag which means PRESSIES for all us girls. :) We're out to dinner tonight (highchair sitting) but after that I fear it will be a cup of hot cocoa since we're both exhausted. ;)
Love to everyone, I can't remember any of the posts cos I just went to the drs and it seems like I might be getting a big needle in my wrist :o (!!) - suspected carpal tunnel. Very common post-preg (gets treated when the pg goes away but the carpal tunnel does not). Got the name of a good dr at the ultrasound place tho so I'm sure it will all be good.
-
Hi everyone, just wanted to say hi. S is being a bit crabby tonight so no personals but hugs to all instead!
