OMG I'm soooo excited for Ange and family - Saskia's such a pretty name too! :confetti: :D - congratulations!!
He
Arte - yes I've been thinking that the final cylon is not who I was thinking it is but rather someone who has been suspected from the very beginning! I haven't discussed it with DH but he has a much better memory for all the twisty turns than me. He thinks Thrace is "THE HYBRID". I'm up to the part where Thrace (who I've noticed they are no longer calling Starbuck) has spoken to the hybrid (harbinger of death) and Sharon's just gone and effed them all by shooting the 6. Uh oh!
Leemar - think of me while you're taking the new BEAST for a joyride, won't you!!
Clare, so glad you had a lovely time, It sounds like you've come home with your "tank" full. Have always wanted to 'do' Tassie, you might just be the inspiration we need to get ourselves organised! Yes, had 2 more tests - bone marrow biopsy (so I'm back to having BUM pain LOL) and a PET scan.
Trill - sorry but I was LOLing when I was reading about A headbutting you over a biscuit. I cannot tell you how many of our toddler dramas involve food generally and biscuits specifically! LOL I think it must be the universally favorite toddler food, or at least for our born-in-the-year-of-the-pig piggies anyway! PMSL. Hope he's in an improved mood as the day progresses. xxx
Rainy, hang in there, you know it will get easier as each week passes and your multitasking capacity increases exponentially.

Welcome to the world Saskia! Congrats Ange on a job well done!
I must say that Saskia is/was at the top of my list for another girl. Was just tossing up whether or not it went okay with Sarah. hehe. Can't wait for piccies and stor Ange, rest well and enjoy the babymoon
Le- Hope you are having an awesome time driving around in your new beasty. And hehe I hear you on the tantys. Sarah has started throwing herself on the ground and wailing like a harpooned whale.
PAP - Wow on the spending..sounds like you might have had to send N home in a taxi so you could get all your purchases home. (love that ad by the way) As for a job, I was a logistics manager for an import firm in Brisbane. Finding it hard to get something similar u pher so have reduced myself to anything that pays hehe
Rainy - Time for a new av hey? hehe.
Art - Glad you were able to get out of the house at least...cabin fever is frustrating. I sometimes 'forget' to buy milk so I can duck back out. lol
Katie - Glad you had a great time visiting your sister...I am somewhat now not so excited about travelling with sarah in 5 weeks time after reading your comment.
Trill - S loved daycare. Hardly cried when I dropped her off and was fairly good all day. She did come running when she saw that I was back to pick her up so that made me feel good.
Clare - Good work on the holiday sounds so great. Wasn't really interested in going before but after your description its on my list. hehe
MD - Owies on those tests. Why can't all tests just be really simple ones...like peeing on a stick. We've all had practise at that. hehe
I've been stuck on the phone to telstra for like an hour so far. Sarah was asleep when I started but has since woken and is not happy. I've only got a corded phone at the moment so am limited as to what I can do. They have f*cked me around with our bills...all accounts...mobile, home and internet. And after all this time I have only gotten them all onto a single bill. So frikken slow...argh. I'm going nuts.
Better go...hi to to anyone I missed

hi all

I wanted to say YAY AND CONGRATS FOR ANGE!!!!! i am so excited!

Ok, so PP, what you can do is contact the office and have a discrete discussion with them about the sorts of things you want that are missing with your current carer, and perhaps you can interview some other ladies in your area. There may be a little bit of a wait, but you know N is a robust little boy, and he will be fine.
Kate - bummer about your never-ending Telstra phone call, it's the pits. I have yet to tackle my electricity provider about several things - been putting that one off.

oh MD that biopsy does sound a few shades wrong of pleasant. it gives butt pain???! hmmm, we will need to find a good way to alleviate that! i think it *may* involve a couch, some pillows and an armful of dvds.
PP: man i didnt realise that your situation with fdc was tricky. sorry to hear that there isnt much room for movement. i think that MD might be onto something though with the phonecall...it doesnt have to be a complaint if you dont want it to be, just a clarification of what you really hope to get for his care and happiness ITMS.
well, i know i am back in melbourne as i have come down with tonsillitis again! it would be tragic if it werent so darn comical. oh well, back to the daily jabs and some immuno booster drug thing...box looked scary so i havent really read any further...

sherie and leanne- thanks for your reassuring words and support. i am finding it hard atm, but i'm really looking forward to it getting easier.
pap- we bought a double doona for the king single bed. it was the only way i could get the doona cover i wanted as they don't do a ks size.
