Its booster til 7 unless they outgrow the requirements ie weight and height.
Not sure I could talk DH into spending MORE money on more seats. Will check those seats out though.

That's right :) I know how you feel though, I am at the crossroads at the moment of RF/FF with DS3. He still fits his seat, by manufacturers instructions. But because it's an import, they are ok with having their head over the top of the seat shell until eye level. His head is just starting to peak over and I'm not sure I'm comfortable or not. So the dilemma is to stay in the Maxway RF or turn FF and get him a new Aussie seat, I just don't know which I am more comfortable with :/
Beatrix - I'm so pleased the storm seems to have passed and you are getting happier times with Zoe. I love this age. They learn new things so quickly. The first year of life is pretty amazing.
Willow - I've got some of that brain mush going on too. I'm blaming sleep deprivation.
Freya - I'll ask my work colleague what car seat her children are using. They are so tall.
Freya you could get new seats and sell the Varios, that may make DH feel better about it :D ...Or do they fit the Radian? That could be another option, although more expensive the Caprices would be cheaper.
Beatrix hope you got more solo playtime from Zoe :D
DB it's def sleep deprivation! My brain just does not cope I'm useless!
I did have a win today though. Poor Georgia was so snotty this morning she found it hard to cope with the fast flow and refused my fullest boob only wanting the softer empty-ish one. So I pumped the full one and got 150ml in 15mins!!! Woohoo all time record for me :D So engorgement makes my boobs much less pump shy :p
Willow- Zoe has been asleep in her bassinet for over a hr!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and yay for the pump session! We been having a bit of breast refusal at time, not really sure what her issue is. Cries and carries on instead of feeding when I know she is hungry. Does finally latch on and calms down buts grrr its frustrating for both of us.
Freya- no idea with car seats.. sorry.
DB- how is work going?
Holy cow an hour!!! :leap:
We had a s*** night last night every hour hour and a half she woke to feed. I guess she needs the extra to fight the cold. But I am completely useless today. The night before wasn't much better and DS has been having coughing fits through the night for the past week too, so way not enough sleep for my poor brain to work.
oh poor things Willow. hopefully the cold goes away soon.
the sleep lasted on a hr in her bassinet and now she is back in my arms fast asleep again... lol loves her mummy. We did get a 6 hr stretch again last night in our bed.. was ready to explode and of course she only took one side so had to get up and express a bit.. finally almost have two full feeds in the freezer for her
Beatrix - as much as I love my work I'm absolutely hating being there. I'm saving up my long service leave and having some time off early next year. At least my hours and holidays are great. DH is realising it's not so easy on his own but he's loving it. My 21 month old daughter is struggling. Crying fits at the door each morning. DH has to dead lock the door so she doesn't escape. She calms down after ten mins but I don't like seeing her that way at all. I keep reminding myself that she loves her Daddy and I'll get my turn with them next year when I take some leave.
On another note, my supervisors are giving me a hard time about lactation breaks. DH wants me to seek advise from the anti-discrimination board and my Union. It makes me feel nervous. First they were making me take lactation breaks during my lunch breaks. I looked the policy up and I am entitled to two x 30min breaks during my work day PLUS my two eating breaks each day. I was expressing during lunch and barely ate or drank all day which is not good for me or Logan. I'm sure it's inconvenient for them but my supply won't keep up otherwise and it's downright painful if I don't express every 3-4hrs. The supervisors are all saying the right thing in that they support me however they are not relieving me of my duties to express. If no one turns up to cover my job then I can't leave. All hell would break loose.
I've informed them of the workplace lactation break policy in writing and provided them with a copy. I'm not back at work until Monday. It shouldn't be this stressful. They have also changed my role completely so I have a crappy job until I finish expressing. I'm quite sure this is discriminatory. I wasn't consulted. They just did it for their convenience. It makes my job a lot harder though. They don't care.
Willow - I'm glad you had success with expressing. 150mL is great! I timed myself last night and it took close to twenty mins to get 200mL last night. How's the stockpile looking?
DB that sounds discriminatory to me! I'm sorry you have to leave your babies to put up with that crap  Hopefully the copy of the policy makes them pull their heads in and stop giving you a hard time, and give you tour original duties back! You really don't need the stress
I managed to pump another 100ml today. It was the tail end of one boob right after a feed and then some off the other as well. It didn't takes as long for a let down either and they weren't engorged. Now I'm wondering if this pump is better than the one I borrowed from my sister with DS, I'm glad I took the risk on a new, not well known brand now :) My pump shy boobs seem to be much less shy with this one :p I have about 250ml in the freezer after two days, it would have taken me a week or more to get that with DS. Now I just hope she will actually take a bottle :crossfingers: I think I should wait to try her with it until she's feeling better though. What do you girls think?
Beatrix that hour was a good hour though! Six at night is good too :D let's hope it keeps up :crossfingers: Is she right on you in bed? If she's happy with near you could you set up the cot with the drop side down or off right up along side your bed? I think that's the only reason Georgia is ok in her own bed at night, we have a mini co-sleeper cot so she is literally right there. She can hear me, smell me and I can touch her easily too so she seems content to sleep in there. It was never close enough for DS3 though, he had to bed in bed touching me.
DS hasn't coughed once yet since he went to sleep so he may have a better night tonight. Maybe all the vitaminC and olive leaf extract is kicking in :)
Db- I would see be speaking to your union. Doesn't seem right at all.
Willow- nah she sleeps in the middle of the bed most nights so hoping it will work. Some nights she needs to be close but slowly does it hopefully. Not going to force the issue and no one get any sleep though
Awesome night last night! She woke at 12.20am and I thought it was the start of another every hour or two night. She fed settled straight away and didn't wake again until 6am :leap: She fed again and went back to sleep until 8am :D
Very full boobs though and she couldn't mange the flow with her blocked nose and was quite up set :( I pumped 10 mins each side, got 150ml then she fed and had a nice easy relaxed feed :) Loving this pump! :D
We had our first Chiro visit today. I had suspected some tightness in Georgia's right shoulder/arm and thought it could extend to her neck and be a postural issue. Turns out I was right. Chiro said it could be related to her reflux and crankiness as well. Here's hoping we see an improvement with the next few treatments. She has been one very relaxed baby since we left the clinic. Only thing is she has been sleeping for the past 2-3 hours, only waking to feed and going back off to sleep again. so I'm hoping she won't sleep so long that she ends up wide awake later and has a crap night.
Willow- grey news about the sleep and pump!! Getting some stock up. Hoping she takes a bottle for you.
Yay on finally getting to chiro. We are on monthly visits now. Can't honestly say it did a lot though but since my chiro only takes what our health insurance pays and doesn't ask for the gap I still try.
We are getting 5-6hr blocks just at the wrong times LOL so will go from 6pm-12am then 4hrly after that. But it is still a lot better then it used to be. Her cot arrives today so will see how that works. To be honest I quite enjoy having her close at night and she keeps me warm!!
Beatrix - our 1yo is our little hot water bottle too. She climbs in every night or early hours of the morning.
Willow - I'm glad you had success with the pump. What kind do you have?
My poor little girl projectile vomited last night. She was so floppy. It was awful. She slept well and seems ok now. She was clingy yesterday. Now we know why.
I have a cough. No other symptoms just a chesty cough. I hope Logan doesn't get it.
He has been sleeping longer stretches now. He has his last feed at 8.30-9pm and sleeps for 6.5-7.5hrs. I'm feeling so much better for it.
Seems our babies are all doing better.
Better get back to nappy duty. Logan just did a squelcher poo....
DB- thats awesome with the sleeps. yep our babies are becoming a bit more settled i think
Willow- how was missy after the chiro app?
Well speaking of settled I just wrapped zoe and out her in her bassinet and she was laying on my bed looking tired and she went to sleep on her own in her bassinet!! Never has she done that before. Shes not in the deepest sleep stirring every now and then but its progress. I am hoping tha finally she is realising if she needs me I am there but also feeling secure enough to sleep on her own
Sorry been MIA lately ladies... with school holidays, been busy as!
DB- hope things get better at work for you!!... not nice at all!
Beatrix/Willow- Seems like the girls are settling for you both now!! so happy for you!!! :D
I need a new booster for DD and I really don't know which to get!! suggestions?? We have the Maxi Rider now with extra harness but her head is moving up over the top of the seat now!
Eleni is doing well... last night she slept from 7:30pm-3am fed/pooed and back to sleep from 3:45am-8am! so not complaining! :) normally she does 10pm-5:30am!
The last few days she's been either really sucking hard or chomping on my boobs because they are really hurting when feeding..especially when they aren't very full! Don't know what is with that?!!??
Harri- that's great sleeping!!
Guess who finally can roll from tummy to back!! 4 times this morning. We haven't done much if tummy time as she normally just screams so today's session was rare but she did it. Now we got to get back to tummy.
Beatrix that's awesome!! :)
looking at the new booster for DD1..... what would you girls choose...Boston Hipod OR Britax Hi-Liner??? CREPS recommends both highly, but the Hipod has a better 90degree impact rating!....and at half the price it's more economic also!... however, the Hi-Liner has the anti-submarining clip........what do you all think??
forgot to mention i use a H harness on her!
