Re: Babies Born ~ August 2013 #1
Check out the playgroup website for one near you. Hopefully there is one you could get to around work. I love the one near me :)
I didn't go to w&w haha i decided I would rather be with my boy.
I got my first pp AF last week finally. Has everyone else's returned? I'm curious to see what my cycle will be like now.

I totally get wanting to be with your bub. I always choose Hunter over anything. However, today we are home with gastro. H started vomiting this morning (on the train all over my work clothes) and can't keep anything down. I'm pretty sure I'll follow. Anything he gets I get :(

How are you and H going Miloro?
My h has been very out of sorts since yesterday. He's usually so content so dealing with his constant misery is really challenging me. I'm praying a tooth pops through before I lose my mind. Poor little mite :( I've finally managed to get dinner sorted at 8pm only to find a whole lot of weavels floating in the rice. Sigh. It is not my day today.
Re: Babies Born ~ August 2013 #1
Oh no, weavels? What a bugger. How is Henry going now? Has another tooth popped?
We have still got gastro. Hunter is only sick at night though. He vomits in his sleep so I try to clean him up and change him without waking him. He is perfectly happy and energetic during the day though. Weird.

Hi, how is everyone? Sorry to hear some of your babes are not traveling too well.
Miloro...how are you?
Its busy here. Lachlan's reflux is painful. His meds have been increased. 2 of my girls have tonsillitis and one has asthma... Busy....

Oh  Miloro. Gastro in a bub must be so tough. Hope your both doing ok.
Henry is ok. This morning he finally popped his first tooth :) only 3 months after I started thinking he was teething!
He did his first painting yesterday for his daddy's birthday! I sponged blue and green paint onto his hands and put a small canvas down in front of him to go nuts on. What a mess! Fun though :)

Wow mini, hope the kids are ok. You have your hands full.
Yay for H's first tooth Peace. Painting must have been fun (and cute).
We are going ok. Yesterday I had to give away my three fur kids. I tried to keep one but it wasn't fair on her, she was alone so much and not getting enough attention. H is doing well though. This morning when the alarm went off (we had both been awake a while) my boob fell out of my top. H took complete advantage and latched on. :)

Mini we must have posted at the same time. Sorry things sound tough at the moment. Hope your all getting on ok.
Miloro I hope you found lovely homes for your fur babies. It must have been so tough but it sounds like you've done the right thing for them. Lol at H taking advantage! They're clever aren't they? Sometimes in the night I sit up to unclip my singlet and my H has latched on before I'm even laying down properly again. I think it's wonderful that you've managed to continue bfing successfully and returned to work ft. How are you and H getting on as a twosome?
Re: Babies Born ~ August 2013 #1
Too clever for their own good. Hunter now knows how to pull himself up on the furniture and today he took a few steps holding onto the couch. Growing up way too fast. Sometimes I feel like I need to pinch myself that this is all real and that he is really my baby. I just feel so lucky to have him in my life.
Peace, life as a twosome is fine. Even before I separated I was pretty much doing it on my own. Now I can do whatever I think needs to be done whenever. I have good friends to help me out and H is at daycare (and loves it).

Hey Miloro, we are good. How are you? H has 2 teeth now. We have had our first sleepless sick night last week (which was horrendous). Just a stuffy flu thing which only lasted overnight and his second tooth popped afterwards so could have been related. His nose was completely blocked to the point he could not latch on for a feed. When he did latch he would choke and scare himself and cry and far out it was heartbreaking. We tried nurofen, Panadol, Vicks baby balsam, saline spray and sucker thingo.
But in general he's just delightful and, like you, I feel really lucky to have him. And I'm really looking forward to doing it all over again soon.
He's becoming a total daddy's boy! He hears DPs car door when he gets home, stops what he's doing, stares at the windows and doors just waiting to see daddy. Then crawls at high speed across the room to him with a big grin and demands daddy cuddles for a good 15 minutes or so. Hard to believe he is 2 weeks away from 9 months...
