Babies Born ~ December 2012 #1
Of course you can Aries! Congratulations on your twins! How exciting that you have one of each. Are these your first? My DS1 is now 4 weeks old and I must ask, how are you managing two?! DS1 has been a really good feeder, sleeper etc. but I still have zero time to do anything, I can't imagine what it must be like with twins :)
As you can probably tell its pretty quiet in here. The December belly buddies group have a FB group that most of the girls use, I'm sure one of them can pop in with the link if you wanted to join in on the chat there as well.
Are you all recovered from your c-section?

Hi Bella12!
My babies aren't home yet, they are in special care nursery hopefully for only another week we are just working on putting on weight and doing all feeds via breast or ebm in a bottle. We are at the hospital every 3 hours to feed but they are how on the same times so it makes it a little easier. Im sure the tiredness I feel now will be nothing compared to what I will feel at home lol!
Congrats on your baby! These are my first babies at home ( I lost my angel boy at 21 weeks in 2009 ). I'm still getting my head around the whole twins thing! It's hard with our lifestyle at the moment lots of travelling but hopefully once we are home I can feel a little more settled :)

That's great that you are able to breast feed and use EBM. No formula top ups? I had to give formula top up while in hospital as he lost more than 10% but I stopped as soon as we got home and he's thriving. You must feel like a milk truck with all that feeding and expressing!!! It will be great to have them home and get settled into your own routine. I think I cried almost the whole afternoon when we got home from the hospital, I found it so overwhelming but by the next day we were all sorted and back into routine. Thankfully!!
Keep up the good work and those beautiful babies will be home in no time :)
I'm so sorry to hear about your angel baby :(

Yeah the expressing is full on! They get a formula top up from a bottle if they are still hungry after a feed, breast feeding is going well so far.
We look like we are going home on Friday! Nasal tubes came out last night - well Eloise pulled hers out! So they said they would leave it out and took Masons as well. One step closer to home now :)
I'm scared but eager to go home now.

Yay for going home!! Sounds like Eloise is the cheeky one :) have you got lots of family and friends locally you can call on if you need help? I was pretty determined to do everything for myself when I first got home and am now spewing that I didn't get my mum to do more for me as she lives interstate and was only here for the first two weeks. We actually just said good bye to our last lot of interstate visitors and as great as it was to see everyone, it's been even better to see the back of them!

Hello ladies! Hope you're all having a great day so far.
Welcome Starfish and Aries! Congratulations on your babies. I will add your bubs details on the list next time I pop on the computer.
Hi Bella! How are you and your little man going?
Hope its going well with everyone.
AFM, I had a few rough nights late last week but since Saturday night Josh has slept better. I guess it was the 8 week wonder week (even though he is 9 weeks now) but hit right on time as per his due date.
Hope everyone has a great week!
xoxo

Hi it's me (rach83) I opened a new account and pop in randomly:)
How's everyone?
Babies Born ~ December 2012 #1
Oh my goodness I haven't been in here for ages!! Sorry!!
I hope everyone's babies are doing well :) we are fabulous here. Growing really well and no trouble at all really. They think sleep is optional during the day, but sleep thru the night so I can cope with that! We started swimming lessons three weeks ago, expensive but if its the only thing I do for the twins for a while then I'm happy with water safety.
So all in pretty good. Tired but extremely blessed!
Hope to hear some updates :)

That's awesome that the twins are sleeping through Aries! You're very lucky.
Kobi is almost 5 months and I think he's teething. Nothing coming through but I think after today's grumpiness and temps that there's some moving going on. He generally wakes twice during the night for a feed, but sometimes (like last night) wakes every two hours. I don't feed him every time he wakes, just try and resettle him. He's had the runs as well which has given him painful looking nappy rash and has blood in his poop at times too. Off to see the paed at the start of June in relation to the blood so hopefully we get some answers. But apart from all that he's just beautiful. Full of smiles and starting to giggle. He naps well during the day and is in a semi routine which is nice.
Glad to hear your little one is doing well starfish.
Would love to hear from everyone else :) I can't believe how quick the time has flown!
