My weight is slowly dropping off, trying to go for walks & eat healthy but I do have bad days still. Time to get serious I think as I still have 10kg to go!
DS has his needles tomorrow :(
We've just been to a birthing class reunion/baby show & tell at the hospital. Only 3 couples showed up including us! Oh well...
DS went well with his needles today - had a bit of a scream but settled very quickly. I think I cried more than he did! He's going so well on his weight gain - now weighs 5.350kg so has gained 1.090kg in the last 4 weeks :)
what age are your bubs now who are getting needles?
dd2 doing well, she has the newborn rash ;( on her face, so looking forward to that going again. i love her smell.
DS is exactly 2 months today
Felix will be 8 weeks on the day.
I think the immunisations might have made DS extra sleepy... Fed at 8:30pm last night & slept till 4am & then slept till 8:30am. Stayed up & played until 9:45am & then slept until 1pm!
hi girls :)
finally! I am on my lappy again!
DS2 finally has a name, lol, only took us 4 weeks... Arlo Sebastian. (well.. took me 4 weeks to convince DF to agree!! )
Arlo is HUGE, as of yesterday he is in 00's now, think I will need to go up to the next size sposies soon (he was out of NB's at a week)
BFing is going well, he doesn't feed anywhere near as much as DS1 did. He actually sleeps at night too! I think this is due to the nurses at neonates making him scream to be fed 4 hourly.... grrr..he sure makes up the feeds during the day though..
Good to hear from you Starry! Glad Arlo is going well & love the name!!
So... I just had Arlos 6 week check...he now weighs 14.3 KILOS!! He is a buddha baby lol.
Im still bleeding...doc has requested me to go hsve an us to check for infection or retained placenta... arghhh.
Nope no typo..the doctor did it 3 times to be sure. I posted it on fb and everyone is freaking out..lol..im going to walk down to the local cyh and weigh him myself just to be sure...
wow! i wonder if the scales were set to pounds instead of kilos. 14.3 pounds = 6.5kg, which is still big, but not excessive. i don't think my 2 yr old has reached 14 kg yet, and he is not little. i would reweigh too.
I love the name Arlo, I taught an Arlo, he was such a lovely boy. How much did he weigh when he was born? How many weeks ago was he born? I bled for the full 6 weeks this time, rather frustrating. Tapered off to really light coloured at 6 weeks and completely gone by 7. Is your loss still heavy? I hope it's all ok and just a longer loss time.
I think HotI's right about pounds vs kilos lol. Still he's obviously had a good weight gain so well done :)
Looks like the silly doc had the scales set on pounds...I only glanced at the number so didn't take any notice..he is around 6.5kg I jist chucked him on in his clothes so subtracted a bit... gah silly woman has written it all in his book and put it all on his charts etc...
Leebee, have apt tomorrow, bleeding ids not heaps heavy but I started having cramps the other night then the next morning passed a big clot, then the bleeding increased and was very different in consistency...ughh would be nice if it would just stop
Still a good weight Starry!! DD was just under 5kg at 6 weeks, and she started at 4.48 kg.
Good weight gain Starry :) glad he's not 14 kg!!
I hope the bleeding is nothing serious and that it stops soon.
