It's been very quiet in here...
Izzy got his 4 month vaccinations today, and we got him weighed while we were there. He's 7.1kg! According to his blue book he's gone from the 10th weight percentile to the 75th! He handled his needles very well, he sucked my finger while getting them and then straight on the boob when they were done. Boob fixes everything!
How's everyone else and bub's going?

Hello out there!
Just wondering if anyone with a 6 month old is using this?
Would love to hear how things are going & wondering if anyone else has a bub who still wakes up 1-2 times during the night for a feed...I need some tips!
SOme nights she sleeps through (after a dream feed) other nights she feeds at 8:30pm then 1:30 then i have to resettle her at 5am....
tired times!
She is a good sleeper during the day and is eating some solids.
Regardless of tips it would be good to touch base with some other mummies!

Hi Jean,
DS is 6 months on Tuesday. He isn't a good sleeper in the day, but he is good overnight once I get him down (good luck rather than anything else here, DD was the same) he can take a while to go down in the evening and still cluster feeds so has maybe 3 feeds between 6 & 9pm but then is sleep till 6:30AM - I don't wrap him never have and he uses his thumb to help him sleep. I never could get my head round a dream feed so have never actually tried it. Only tried solids today so don't think can call it eating yet. He is a happy little chap almost exactly like his sister at the moment. He doesn't roll yet but is trying to push up onto his knees a bit and likes being on his tummy. He is also pushing himself along on his back along the floor a bit.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking in the forums for a while and just thought I'd say hi! My DS was born on 31.7.11 so coming up for 7 months old now; it's gone fast and slowly all at the same time. I'm really enjoying DS at this age now he's a bit more independent and a lot more interactive, it's great. I think he'll be crawling in a month or so - he's getting so strong and mobile rolling around all over the place and pushing off from his hands and knees. We're still a bit iffy on nighttime sleep - some nights he'll wake up twice other nights it will be five times. He naps ok during the day though.
How's everyone else going?
Haha I've just tried to post this 3x and it says the image verification wasn't matching up - just realised I was typing it in the title...oops

hi
Hi!
I did a couple of days worth of controla crying and now DD - if she wakes up can generally be resettled after 15mins most. I am now getting a bit more sleep which is fantastic! Feeling alot better! Thought I was ready to take on the world so last week went swimming, running and lots of walking - then was totally exhausted. I think I'll stay fairly low key until I have finished breastfeeding!

Hi jean sorry for the late reply my parents have been visiting from England so had lots of catching up to do! They've gone back now though  it was so great having them here! That's great you're getting more sleep....I know what you mean about feeling ready to take on the world. Whenever we have a good night I feel so energetic the next day! Not sure if I'm ready to take exercise properly yet though, I can manage a 45 min walk each day but that tires me out enough :doh:Our sleep has disintegrated a bit, DS is currently waking up 5-7 times a night again now and I'm feeling a bit exhausted. We're booked into a family support centre for a daystay next week on Weds to get some help with our sleeping. I'm not really cut out for controlled crying and haven't done it at all with DS, the place we're going says they don't use it so hopefully they'll show us some gentle alternatives!Otherwise going great, DS has started crawling properly a bit this week and is loving his new found mobility! It's cooling down over here a bit now which is fantastic as we can get out and about a bit more during the day. That's about it really, I'll try to get on here a bit more often!
