Babies Born ~ March 16th-31st 2010 #4

yeah it went well. she said not to let Hamish's pregnancy put me off. I have a 15-30% chance of getting the placenta previa again. we decided tho that we do want another baby but not for a couple more years. we want to pay my car off so that when I do go on maternity leave we don't have to worry about having money for the car payment which will give us a bit extra each fortnight in the bank. plus with Hamish being so active I didn't think I could cope being heavily pregnant or with a baby in the pram chasing after him also when he runs off. such a active little monkey that he is!!! gives us a bit more time too to save some money up also.

Hi ladies. I don't come on here very often and I just saw that there were more posts on here! Teresa, that's great that your OB appointment went well, but its also good that you're waiting a while (if that's what you want). Sometimes I think it would be cute if we just had Angus because he is just SO cute and funny now that he is becoming such a little individual. But sometimes I get a bit busy and distracted.

Anyway, I've got a bit of a headache - so I'll come back on later

Hi girls, haven't been on here in sooooo long. I just saw on facebook theresa's news. It inspired me to come back on! Congrats Theresa, it is great news. What happened to Dr Angus????? Have been flat out myself. Matilda is now (obviously) 3 and Annabelle 2 and half!! Crazy having two girls slow close. I sorted of got very occupied with that. Rach, I just saw that you now have two girls??? Details please. Just went on facebook to have a squizzy. How is everyone else going???

thanks bec! he retired. there are 2 private obs here now. Dr Ettie Joubert and Dr Rehana Lulania. I am seeing Dr Lulania and she is lovely.

it was a huge surprise! we had decided to wait until Hamish started school to try again. the other month thought we were in the safe zone but I must have been having one of those rare 28 day cycles because next thing we know I have a positive hpt in my hand! I was a week late and only did the test to prove I wasn't UTD lol. So much for that!!! I will be 13 weeks on Wednesday. starting to feel flutters now. hoping that's not a sign placenta is completely covering again. have my 12 week scan on Wednesday so will definitely be asking if they can see the placenta then

Oh, so are you going to Calvery or base? I loved Calvery, it was great, great service and everything. I loved Dr Angus, he was the best ever, so hard working and just a great bed manner, hope your Dr is good. There is a great photographer in Wagga in Forest Hill (I think), we had 6 day old photos with her with Matilda, awesome, she is 'sky rocket studios'. Pretty reasonable too. We got photos with someone else (because we moved) for Annabelle, but just weren't as good. She has a website. I'm sure all will be good this time Theresa. Fingers crossed. Hope your scan went well.

thanks becc. yeah going to calvary. have the private insurance so figure we might as well use it plus we thought private was the safer option considering what happened with Hamish. scan went well. sonographer was rude though. never did a heart rate either. dug the probe really hard into my belly then complained when I said it was hurting me. I asked where the placenta was and she said "why do you want to know that for". when I told her what happened in previous pregnancy she was so rude commenting how it was far too early but I saw her typing in anterior placenta on the screen. then when I mentioned I could feel movements already she said it was far too early to feel it. really did not like her!
