Not only BF's! H pinches and scratches too! My chest looks like a cat scratcher!
Wow Kate, go H man!!!! Chlo was 6.5kgs in the nuddie, no idea about length or HC though.
Jak Chloe pinches but on my hand! I usually go on bb or fb while feeding but now she wants to hold my hand which is very cute, but she starts pinching my fingers, bloody little razor nails hurt!! Was thinking of getting myself one of those necklaces so she can play with that while feeding.
Kitty Yah for DH job!! Did I find out if you have to work Friday?
Kylz why you holding out on me about these mittens?!?!
jaki: Chase pinches too, somehow he finds the nipple on my other boob and just pinches it. Or he just waves his free hand around in my face and touches my face then his face, then my other boob, then my face. He's a wiggler.
lou: nope not working this friday :)
oh today was having lunch with a friend and hadn't given chase his solids. I knew the minute he was starting to give me the serious look that it was on. As soon as I started eating he would not take his eyes off me and then when it became obvious I wasn't sharing what I was eating he started crying and carrying on. So had to stop eating go warm up some food and come back and feed him then come back to my cold lunch. My boy loves a feed :) Did a weigh where DH stood on the scales by himself then with Chase to see how heavy he is now, looking at about 8kg. yay!
Well another night of waking up at 1am :( I'm oVer it seriously over it. Nothing interesting going on here Jay just getting too big and it's making me sad. No one warned me they don't stay babies for long.
See those of u Fri
Glad I'm not the only one getting pinched then!
Well I am on my absolute last tether of sanity and exhaustion. W has gone from 1 night wake to 2 then 4 then 6 and now last night was 8.
I've tried him away from me and in bed with me. Doesn't make a difference. It's just getting worse.
I'm not functioning at all on no sleep. And I'm cranky at him which is not cool at all but I'm so tired.
What do I do? Solids? Formula top up? Try him in his own room? Suck it up?
I feel guilty no matter what ideas I come up with :(
Kylz: I know chase is 5 and a half months this week. my little bubba.
Sorry not seeing you guys friday, one of the mums in my weekly playgroup wanted to test out a new community mothers playgroup and didnt want to go alone. DH went in for physical today and got the all clear. they are faxing results to the new job tomororw, hopefully they get their asses into gear and get him to work on Monday. If I have to watch the lazy bastard sit around playing call of duty all day for another week Im going to whack him over the head with a frying pan.
Do it kitty. Do it for all womankind ;)
Jack is doing my head in, why is it when I want to get things done, he doesn't want to b put down or go to sleep
Jaki, same here!
I dont think that it is to do with food, more sleep associations (you, like me, normally feed to sleep) Was reading something last night that talks about why sleep is so bad at this age... It's apparently to do with sleep cycles, around now they switch from newborn to 'normal' sleep cycles and have wake periods where they have to learn to put themselves back to sleep, now all they know is feed to sleep, so when they wake, that's how they know to go back to sleep itms... If you are interested in it I can pm you the link... (it doesn't say you have to stop feeding to sleep or do CIO)

Thanks SJ that wud be great :D
Trying something new tonight... I'm not happy about it but I've put Wyatt in his cot in his own room. He is about 2 metres away but I still feel bad :(
He went straight to sleep so fingers crossed he has a good night!
Q for you guys with bubs in their own rooms- do you use a night light?
We have the bathroom light on that is across the hallway. Dont feel bad jak he might sleep better in there I know J does cause there is noise and we watch tv in bed with a timer on.
I hear you on the sleep thing! I have had both kids up multiple times a night for the last month! And now that H man is feeding every 4 hrs night and day I dont get a break at all! I think I average about 3-4 hrs a night now... sux!
I have to shut his door cause of the cat so I've put a wee light in there. Just one of those little battery powered things. Well I'm gonna close my eyes now and hope for the best!
Thanx girls... Here's hopping we ALL get some sleep :D
Night 3 of middle night wake up grrrr so much better if J was waking lol
Are you ok Kylie, are you stressed about work and that's disturbing your sleep?
The longest stretch of sleep Miss A did last night was 2 hours and 15 minutes. She woke me 5 times overnight :( even when she came home from hossy she slept better.
I know it is a phase, but I am feeling like you did yesterday Jaki...
Hope everyone else had a better night.
