Hi to everyone!! Our group isn't too chatty!
So whose bubs are sitting? C still can't!! Got 2 teeth while we were away!
Amelia's been sitting for a little while :) Sometimes she'll still lose her balance though. She's starting to pull herself up to STAND on things too! :o
Is it ridiculous that wyatt has 2 night bottles???? They are small but Its the only way to get him back to sleep.
I miss BFing :( :( :(
He is out peeing 2 nappies at night.
Waaaahhhhh
Jak J is still waking for a bottle at around 4 it's weird.
Lou he is good getting way too smart he is sitting crawling talking he kisses and cuddles now too which is cute and to top it off has worked out how to pull himself up on everything
hugs kylz, wat a b@$tard of a boss, yay on another job but boo at it being at brendale
lou, nope jack doesn't have them so he got his needles on fri. hope miss c gets better real quick, the poor thing! how was ur holiday??
jaki, jack was still waking a few too many times at night but the last two nights it has been a 1:30 n then 5:30 - well we're not sure on the 5:30 one as sometimes he plays with his toys in the cot before he cracks it
jack's 6mth 3wk stats - weight 9.38kg, length 71.5cm, hc 45cm
Hugs kylz xxx how awesome you got offered a new job straight away!
Wow teni pulling herself up!! And kylz j does too doesn't he? Slow down bubs!!
Jak, Chloe usually sleeps through but since holidays (portacot hate) and being sick she has been having 1-2 feeds through the night on most nights. And not little ones either! Probs 20 mins or so. But yesterday and last night would hardly take boob at all, but slept through!!
happy 8mths to the j-man xoxox
Yep lou sure does
I'm not sure how long I be for and stuff but anything is better than nothing
man i missed so much lol
my trip was great. Chase chucked a hissy fit about three times on the way there but otherwise was very good and just slept in his bassinet which was a life saver. He touched a monkey, a snake and an elephant and we took him riding on an elephant :) he's my little adventurer. He refused to eat though while we were there. I bought him prepacked food from australia and he just refused it, didn't want any puree so i think he lost a bit of weight cos he feels very skinny right now. On the way home we had a night flight and it was amazing :) Chase went to sleep 9pm their time and woke up at 5am our time, for our 6am arrival into Brisbane. Awesome.
Chase has still been waking up in the middle of the night. Before I went away he would go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 11pm and then 2am and so on and I pretty much just gave him boob and he went back to sleep. Since we came back he has been going to bed same time and waking up at 2am for a feed. Last night was the first time in ages that he went to bed at 9pm and woke up 4am. Getting better :)
Chase can pull himself up on me or by using my hands but we dont really have anything in the house short enough for his teeny arms to reach. PLus he doesn't crawl so cant get to anything to pull up on lol Still absolutely loves holding hands and walking along. He can sit up without help but he is still prone to falling over if he reaches for a toy too far away. I can prop him up on the lounge and he will shuffle along it if I put toys down the end, but it takes him a long time. The worst thing he does is that when I am holding his hands and he is standing if he thinks he is stable enough he just lets go of one of my hands and stands there holding one of my hands. It freaks me out cos he pretty much looses balance and stacks it haha but he still continues to let go of my hand.
ahhh gtg his highness is chucking a hissy fit...not sure why...maybe just for the hell of it hahaha
How on earth do you entertain him until 9pm? Wyatt is cracking it for bed at 6:30 latest!
Haha Chlo goes to bed about 8.30-9 too. But we don't have dinner til 6.30 then by the time we eat, clean up,do pjs etc its about 8,then she plays while I get ella to bed, then I turn all the lights out and chill out and watch tv while I BF her to sleep. Guess she's used to it though cos that's how I've always done it?
How J is in bed by 7 730 at latest too. He starts to get really cranky about 630 so it's bottle and bed. He generally has dinner about 5-530 then bath.
Far out! If I haven't fed wyatt dinner by 5:30 don't even bother cause he is too cranky.
They must have a late arvo nap?
Altho, if wyatt naps from 3-5 he is still ready for bed by 7 at latest.
yep jack has dinner around 5:30, then bath a lil play with luke and then he's on the boob for sleepy-by at around 7:30, he then has a wake up around 2ish (well that is wat it has been the last few nights) then it's wake up time at 5:30
Well I have a bub that takes after her mummy - loves sleep-ins and going to bed late. I do wish she'd go to sleep earlier, but she just wants to play for ages. Lately the bedtime pattern has been going to bed, playing/climbing on us for a little while, getting bored and crying (while I try to comfort and feed her), crying a little more, then finally letting me feed her as though that's what she wanted all along. Cut out the crying bit, and make playtime a little shorter, and we'd be cool
H man is ready for bed by 7.30 too he is really grumpy if we are out at that time. He gets his bottle about 7.30 then bed and wakes about 2 am for a bottle then back to bed till 7.30 - 8am ... Can't complain about that at the moment!
Yeah she has a pretty late sleep, usually 1pm-4pm sometimes she sleeps later. I think she prob would go to bed earlier if Ella wasnt around but she is SUCH a nosy Parker and wants whatever ellas doing, she won't settle until ellas not there! And I'm on my own at night so I can't leave Ella....now she's better she's back to sleeping 9pm-7am, and Ella gets up around 6 so it works so well for us cos I get Ellie all sorted before she gets up cos I'm on my own in the mornings too. I wonder what it's like to not have a child with you all the time lol.....
Chase is up right now and its 9.26pm. I've been trying to put him to bed since 8pm.....he just won't go. He does have an afternoon nap at about 5-6pm every day and then he wakes up and has dinner, plays and then its back to bed. But with his fever and tonsilitis and his ear this week has just been a mess with his sleeping and napping during the day. I was up at 3.30am with him today :(
Snap kitty, chloes still up and its 9.46. Have been trying since 8.30......ah the joys
omg what is with tonight!! I put chase to bed at 8pm. He has been waking up every hour for a feed, except from midnight, then he woke up at 2am. I'm scared to try and go to sleep in case he wakes up at 3am or 4am and I will have tried to sleep for nothing... :(
Good news is his fever has broken, though he did a waterfall spew on me yesterday morning (never seen a baby spew like that before it was exorcist-style) and he has had diarrhea today but at least his temp feels normal. He is so cranky, he is teething so badly at the moment adding to the tonsilitis and ear infection. I've never seen him like this, just tossing his head back and screaming. who is this kid??? I want my happy boy back :(
Can anyone remember the infants friend drops to tsp conversion? It's for my friend who has a 9 week old.
Hold on jak I check the bottle
5drops = .25ml so 10drops is half mil
I used to give half a ml :)
Chloe is crawling!!!!!!!!!
wooo Chloe!!!! poor chase...he's a stick in the mud hahaha
go chloe!!! and yay to wyatt - first toothy peg - still waiting on Jack's to appear
grrr, now I know why I haven't been getting notifications, there's a new thread :wall:
Hows everyone? Not much happening here, surprise bub #3 is on the way - word of warning, never go on honeymoon without making sure that you have most certainly O'd before you leave! lol we got caught out and brought a little hitchhiker back with us ROFL
Elise isn't crawling, no teeth, loves her veggies, is sensitive to something in bread, and possibly sensitive to dog slobber (she got licked by the dog last night and woke up this morning with the same reaction to has to bread, large red spots all over her arms, legs, upper back, neck, cheeks and upper chest, my poor bubba :( ), she is still rolling everywhere, and babbles when she feels like it, only says "mum-mum" when she's upset and grizzling before he starts to full out cry.
Nothing else happening that I can think of :)
Wow Jenna. Congrats!
Maybe the dog has yeasty slobber.
Congrats Jenna. How exciting.
