hi girls. weekend away was fantastic. and she was completely unfazed by the needles.
im currently sick tho... lost my voice, now some yummy phlem... so far dd is ok but did sleep all day yesterday... yuck being sick and looking after a baby.
atm she is lying next to me, i changed her nappy when she woke up as full of wees, as soon as we laid back down massive poo so changed it again... had a feed...and i think i can hear more poo... im going yo leave it for now cause 3 times in an hr is a bit much.

My little man poos at every feed during the day!! Drives me insane!!
Sleep issues still here so I've gone back to swaddling him and now he sleeps :-) guessing it was his hands waking him up as he rubs his face a lot! I had him in a love to swaddle up but he could still get his hands on his face so hands back down on his sides and swaddled it is!!
He is such a happy baby when he is awake that I can't complain too much!!
Hope everyone is well and TT40 I hope you shake the cold quickly as they aren't much fun and looking after a baby while sick is the pits!

We're struggling to get out of the swaddle/wraps. We've been using the Kidopotamus/summertime brand and as soon as we loosen it up, the hands come up, sucking, and no sleepy :( DD has just gone through the 12 week wonder week, where sleeping was like, so last week... ha ha ha. Back on track again, just got to get her sleeping without being wrapped.

Hi ladies, good to hear everyone is doing pretty well.

No complaints here - I'm loving being a mother, particularly now that she is smiling and talking lots and sleeping through the night lol :D Most nights she sleeps from about 10.30-11pm to 6-7am. Occasionally though she will have a bad night due to wind or something and wake up for a feed. Main trouble I'm having is with rashes. I finally got rid of the thick craddle cap on her head but now she has dry, flaky eczema like on her face and head. She has really sensitive skin unfortunately and I'm forever putting creams and baby oil etc on but its just one thing after another with her skin :( I also can't use any wipes, not even fragrance free so am having to use facewashers or she will get nappy rash.

Three graces I know what you mean about the hands...constantly in his mouth every chance he gets! Not quite coordinated just yet to hold a soft toy or something to put in the mouth so hands and fingers it is! He sucks so hard that he has such a red little hand..lol..
Poor thing with sensitive skin, makes things a bit harder but hopefully she will grow out of it! Not sure if someone else recommended the brand MooGoo to you but we have always used it for cradle cap..infant scalp cream and their shampoo..all natural beautiful stuff! I am using qv cream on his face atm as it is very dry and red and he rubs at it a lot!!
Anyway finished feeding now and back to bed for us :-))
Can't believe I fought the sleep battle for weeks on end when all I had to do was swaddle him up tight again..you'd think you'd know with bubs number 3!! Glad I have worked it out! We are 11weeks this week so I'm guessing wonder week 12 is just about to hit :-)
Loops glad your well and loving motherhood! It is the best thing ever! Although my four year old is pushing my buttons atm...you are extremely lucky at having an all night sleeper...mine don't do that till they are about one!!

How old are all the bubs now? It's going really quickly, however Olivia has decided not to sleep for longer than 20 mins at a time during the day. Makes the days feel really long and her older brothers have both been sick, sitting on the couch, being miserable. Talk about boy flu!

I wonder what happened to half the mums in the Due May group? Not everybody made the transition across to this thread. I guess everybody has their hands full now!

we are going great. Dd is now 9 weeks old!! holy moly!! im slack caue i only go on bb on my phone and personals and decent posts are hard. ill really have to come in here on my comp and put the effort in!
our only problem here is her neck rolls...she is so chubby and healthy but those rolls are impossible to clean cause she wont put her head back for me to make sure they are clean and dry properly ... and she gets milk and spew stuck in them and they are so red and sore =( its a loosing battle...

hi Leesh! your right, my excuse is im normally on my phone and i cant reply and remember who said what, so its never a real reply. not really s good one tho. im on the comp now but typing one handed =P have you gotten through the wonder week?? we are going through it now. doesnt help when DH is being a total ******** lastnight and today...im not a happy mummy atm =(

3 graces ~ DD is 11 weeks tomorrow. she too has decided day sleeps suck =P unfortuantly the last few nights sleep isnt happening then either...

loops ~ its a loosing battle here with the cradle cap, they say brush their hair, but DD doesnt have any hair to brush! =P no help with the skin tho, sorry.

struggling here last few days, i had a fever on weekend, dont know why... DD in wonder week, and no love and support from DH at all =( FX wont last much longer.

TT40 - Sorry to hear that you're having such a crappy time. I can definately relate to some of it. Re: the craddle cap - what do you use in her bath? I think soap products can make it worse, but then again, I didn't use soap stuff with DS1 or DS2 and they still got it. It's so tempting to just pick it!

Loops - how is the eczema going with your little one? What a pain (for both of you). We've been lucky to escape eczema, so far.

Leesha - I feel the same as you about our little group disintegrating. There was so much chit chat in the lead up to the bubs arriving and now not much at all.
Maybe we should just gatecrash some other month ;)

We've been struggling this month. Both boys are now over their flu. OMG they were sick kids - wouldn't eat chocolate cake or biscuits (so I knew they were really unwell) and both have lost weight. I don't know how Olivia missed getting it. My parents caught it from my boys and my mum ended up in hospital, she was so sick. Now I'm trying to get our princess back into the habit of falling asleep in her cot. God - she had it down pat for awhile there and then we ended up feeding her to sleep. Not easy with older brothers bouncing off the walls, so I'm spending this week trying to help her fall asleep in her cot. My sister bought us that book 'Go the F to sleep'. It's so funny and I often think of it when she's mucking around and then she gets overtired and mega cranky. Why is sleep just so hard for babies? I think most animals master it pretty quick.

Anyway, I hope that things improve for everybody soon. I've been promising to play Snakes and Ladders all day with DS1, so I'd better get off the computer!

Baby oil & a soft baby comb ive found to be best for cradle cap. Couple of times brushing the hair & scalp & then its manageable.

Sorry im mia ladies, im struggling. Sophie has reflux we dont do a whole lot of sleeping, day or night. Shes just had her zantac increaded by a paed, shes def improving since. We have no routine, dh & i r having lots of issues, my nipples still havent healed, things just suck right now. I have started a private group on fb for may mummies from bb a cpl of us r in it, as i know we all get on fb more than bb, feel free to pm me or get someone ur friends with to add u to the group so we can all keep up id love to hear more about u guys & offer better/more advice, i just hardly get on bb.

I am def on Facebook more than in here and on my phone most of the time too! Is the group called May Mummies? How many members? Just so if I do a search in finding the right one :)

I would love to join the fb group. I really want to be in more contact with people whose babies are the same age as DD as everyone I talk to their bubs are a few months older than DD and some things just don't work with different ages.

That sounds terrible Jen *hugs* hopefully the new dose works and you get a bit of a smoother trot soon. we dont have any routine, I'm still just doing what DD wants, that is if she is hungry I will feed, if she looks tired I will try to put her to sleep - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt... I do aim to have the bath at the same time each day, but then again that depends what she is up to if i can get it or not.

I've also had trouble finding the fb group - I could only find the May 2012 Mummies - Hampshire Group with 25 members. Jen, I've sent you another pm, as I think I've found your fb profile. I've sent a friend request from DH's account.

Just to let you girls know, if I manage to jump across to the fb group, I'll be using my DH's fb account, as I never set one up (it will be a photo of a bald man standing in front of a bridge). We're pretty slack and hardly ever use it - I think there's baby photos of our previous boys and somebody tagged our DD. Will have to put a few more photos on there.
Anyway, I'm thankful that it's the weekend at last. What a long week. DD has reflux but nowhere as bad as DS1, but still enough to wake her up, with screaming. It wasn't so bad, but seems to be getting worse. I can even hear the spew hit the floor over my shoulder and she drenched my jarmies last night.
