Hi, just popping in quickly before I get busy sewing - just found out I have been accepted for a market stall on Sunday, yay! Lots to do to prepare though, so going to be a busy week.
dory - I had a weird dream last night too. Not really a dream though, it was when I woke up in the middle of the night. It was so scary, I woke up terrified there was only one baby in my bed. I was thinking where is the other baby!! I even got up and turned the light on, very scared my 'other' baby was missing, then I realised I didn't have another one. Am I going crazy??
I'm feeling a bit alone in here. Seems I am the only one feeding on demand, or "on request" (I mean I'm letting Isaac decided when to 'drop' a feed) and not even considering crying methods. It's working for us, Isaac is thriving, actually better go I can hear him in the kitchen again!
Take care, hugs for the bubs :)

Hi girls.
I'm so sorry that I haven't been part of this group very much lately, I do come and read up on everyone when I can though.
Dory- Thankyou so much for suggesting I try take time out for myself each day- You have NO IDEA just how much that has helped me.
I been struggling girls. I like to pretend that i'm not, but I think I am. Harlow still hasn't gotten over this seperation Anxiety & it is doing my head in. I love her to bits but god- I need to be able to leave the room without her screaming. yesterday she was fine, she actually let me be- today she is clingy again! We are seeing the MCHN for a check-up on Thursday, I'm going to get some advice then.
My Anxiety has been a touch better, I took myself & Harlow shopping on Saturday, for something that was only meant to be a half hour trip- i turned into 2 hours, I'm quite proud of myself there. I don't know if the meds I'm on are helping or not, some days I think they are- other days my partner says they are not. I need to have that time out to acess just how I am going.
Harlow, apart from seperation anxiety -is going great guns. She is standing up and cruising the couches now, she also gets on her knees in the middle of the room and plays, she also has started to let go of the couch for a split second- or holds on with one hand and waves- very cheeky! She is in to EVERYTHING, pulled my indoor plant down the other day- and laughed about it! She has definatly found her voice, "daadaaah" "mummm" "et!!" (Jett), "emmm" (the cat, miss motley), "out" because I say it to her each time she goes in my room! She has also been saying ta each time we hand her something or she gives us something, I've noticed she even says it when she picks up her toys!!!
I feel so much better knowing I can come into here and tell you girls how I am doing and how I feel- I can't do this with any of my closest friends- so thankyou girls fo rlistening. I'm ok, i just need some time out or something to just breathe :)
Oh, Have I got all you girls on Facebook?? If not, be sure to add me so i can keep up with you girls there! sandie patane (There is only one of me!!)

Welcome Vixstar
Bec – Poor little Isaac, I hope its all cleared up now, Blake use to get bad constipation to and I just had to wait it out, poor bubba’s.
As for the food, I have been mashing potatos, sweet potatos, pumpkin, broccoli, beans, zucchini and corn. That’s what I feed him for dinner as its filling, for brekkie he will either have toast or weetbixs. Lunch is yoghurt and usually whatever mummy has.
Ill catch up on personals soon, I have missed out on so much.
I have been seeing a psychologist with my depression. Its been a very few rough months for me, just trying to sort myself out. DP and I have differently reached rough waters in our relationship and I was just not coping well. We are trying very hard to fix things, but the damage has already been done. DP doesn’t seem to be all here anymore and I have asked him several times if he is happy and he just keeps saying “yes”, but with him being so distant from our relationship its kinda hard to believe.
Blake is doing very well. He is crawling everywhere now and also pulls himself up on furniture. The past 2 weeks though, nights have been a killer. Never once had a problem with him sleeping at night as he always slept through, but now after we have put him down to bed, an hour or 2 he will wake up screaming, I would then have to settle him again. Then around 4-5am he would wake up screaming again wanting to get up and play and have a bottle. There is no way I want to be starting my day at 4am every morning. Last night I gave up and let him cry himself back to sleep without me going into this room. I don’t want him getting into a routine where he knows mum will come in and nurse me back to sleep, NO WAY BLAKEY. I just don’t know why he does this, any ideas? And also any ideas on what I should be doing? I do know he is getting a tooth, but his last tooth he never put us through this much strife.
I hope everyone is doing well. Cant wait to hear back from you all.

Just a quickie -
Dory - LOVED the Amber....I am actually wearing around my wrist now as a bracelet!! I get an eczema type thing on my face and although I still get it, it is less severe and flares up for a shorter time! So it works wonders for teething and skin stuff!
Belfie - Yep, Bailey is 5 in Sept *gulp*, NOah turned 3 April just gone and then Alannah! Life is full on, I hit the ground running each morning at about 6am - 6.30am, but would never give up being a SAHM over going to work!
Have a great, happy and safe long weekend (NSW).
xxxxx

wite - glad i could be of some help.....hugs.
bec - how many sleeps now? I have been doing some research on hypno birthing and EC, what a combo!
vix - very busy babe! keep up the good work.
hiya, just quickly from me, time to go to bed and sleep.

Wow it has been quiet here the past week!!!
Vixstar- so good to hear what others think of the Amber, I'm going to order one for Harlow soon!!
I'm slowly starting to feel a bit better, i started a blog this week which is helping me pull all these thoughts out of my head..!!
Harlows doing ok, She is so clingy and still has some hardcore seperation anxiety which is still a pain in the butt! The MCHN smiled when I told her, she said it is fantastic that harlow and I have such a strong bond, yes, we do...but I need a break sometimes!! She won't even go to David unless I am in the same room...She is asleep on him right now (Miracle) so I'm able to hop on here and check 3274376 emails I haven't been able to check with her clinging on like a little monkey to it's mumma! She weighs around 8kg now, Is cruising along furniture and is very very cheeky, loves to annoy her brother which causes alot of tears from him! hehe
Hope all is well with you all and all the bubs, Can you believe they will all be one soon Is everyone starting to organise a party or anything?

Hello ladies!
Hope it's ok for me to join this thread - I probably should have ages ago, but figured I was only 1 day out with Noah's birthday and stuck to my own Babies Born group. It is and has been very quiet in there so I thought I'd come and join you girls if that's ok and I know a couple of you (Vix, Deana, Belfie and Buzzie)!
A bit about me - DS (Noah) was born on 30/09/2010 and is my first baby. He has just started to crawl forwards (was crawling only backwards or sailing around everywhere) and is getting into EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE! lol
Vix - Hiya, great to see you in here! Remember you said you joined here and was thinking of following you in here but then forgot and I haven't been on BB for about a week or so. lol Congrats on your beauty starting to crawl!!
Deana - Lovely to be with you in this group! Glad to hear Blakey is doing well, but sorry to hear that things between you and DP are not going a 100% well. Hope that your sessions with the physcologist helps you and that you and DP can work things out.
Wite - When was your bubba born? I have days where Noah is very clingy too - it sometimes drives me a little bonkers when I know I have a tonne of things to do and I know that he suffers from the seperation anxiety thing too! Have especially noticed in the past week or so... I am going to have a birthday party for Noah, I mean they are only ONE once and it is their first birthday so we should make it special right? We're planning to have a picnic/bbq lunch at a park (weather permitting, but should be ok as will be October then) and just invite some of his little friends with their parents to come along. How about you and the rest of you girls? What are your plans for your baby's first birthday? :)
Bec - I reckon keep up the "demand feeding" if it works for you, you should keep going that way. ;) I did the same with Noah, fed him whenever he demanded it and let him feed for as long as he needed to... I was able to BF him until he was 7 months, 1 week (mother's day was my last BF), but unfortunately he kind of started to self-wean himself and my milk supply wasn't as great anymore.
Group Question - Is anyone else going to be TTCing again soon? We are planning to TTC bub #2 once Noah is 1, so probably around end September, beginning of October. Some days I'm sooooo ready for it and can't wait, where other days I'm a bit nervous and think, what am I thinking.....lol
Hello to everyone else - Sorry for my lack of persies but I have a bit more reading back to do so will try to keep up with persies from now on.... ;)
AFM, have been soooooo tired! I sleep roughly 7-8 hours each night and have had the occasional 30 minutes nap during the day when Noah has his nap but I just can't seem to shake the tiredness. I almost feel jetlagged all day everyday. Hopefully it'll go away soon and I'll regain some energy lol
Well then, best get going, but will be back again soon (if you girls will have me) lol
xoxo

Hiya Pretz!!!!! xxxxx
BBL
-
Pretz - welcome and congrats on the safe arrival of your lil Noah! And so reassuring to know that the going backwards everywhere turns into going forwards.
I am with you on the tiredness...... and I know I am run down as I have yet another cold.... and for some bizarre reason I have insomnia after the 2am feed. I usually get back to sleep at 4am. Blah. Hope you feel better soon.
As for TTC - am trying already but without a cycle yet it's a bit of a wild stab in the dark.... doesn't mean though that I don't think every possible little symptom is a preg sign.... LOL. At the moment I am thinking that my funny little cramping means it's all on... so will be testing tomorrow, just in case.
Although here's a tip for young players.... I tested the other day using the floating test, but had lost the float. So I rested the container on the floor and just dipped the test strip in and was astounded to see almost immediately the second line and it was dark. My heart almost stopped and I was just so excited. And completely deflated when I realised there is a bumpy part in the test strip and I was seeing the shadow as I was looking down onto the test. The line disappeared when I held it up. Blah.
Yep about the party- and am already organising a party. For us, HB's safe arrival was a long anguished journey, so this first birthday milestone is a reason to celebrate. Though for us, I am thinking of just going to a local winery and just having a nice chill out/picnic on the lawn. Peeps can get their own food and drink, though depending on $ might put a bit of a tab at at the bar. The kids can run around on the lawn and the adults can just chill. Well as much as you can with 1 yr olds and other kids.
Wite - glad to hear there are better days for you. And yes, even for Harlow. She really does have an intense case of sep anxiety. HB has an anxiety about other kids her age. She looks at them and cries and climbs up on me and doesn't let go. My little bear. Then she looks back at the kiddie and cries some more. Loves everyone from the safety of her parents arms.
Bec - I am guessing that you're OS enjoying Thailand already? Have a good time.
Connie - how's your house coming? And how is that dear sweet son of yours?
Deana - I dosed HB up on pears today as today was her first genuine episode of constipation. How is Blakey doing? I missed you when you were AWOL from BB, as I am not much on fb, so never really catch up with anyone there.
Fuzzy - how is Chloe doing? How is work?
Chuckie - how is Pearl's sleep coming along ( and yours?). I have toyed with the idea of dropping the night feed for HB but she just seems to love it and really chows down. And I am not sure if I can cope with the crying in the middle of the night. But I have been able to break the feed to sleep habit we got into. Yay!
Buzzie - how is Bella?
Belfie - how is the dizzy man? How is your little budha girl going? I love her beanie hat so much I am going to get HB one, but don't know where. So where do you get them? Someone bought HB this goregous rainbow coloured hat. Sort of beanie sort of cat, she looks like a russian cossack when she wears it. So adorable. I would never have bought it myself, but am glad she's got it. It's so different to anything else I have seen.
Anyway, off to bed for me.

Hey guys,
Welcome Pretz!
I am going to say bye to everyone in here :( I am struggling with time and when I eventually make it in here I have missed so so much and I feel like I just doing 'me posts' all the time!
I am on FB (Dianne McLean) and would love to see how everyone is going on there.
Will miss you all and good luck with TTC next bubs! :)

Oh Dory that is so cute that HB loves everyone from the safety of her parents arms. It sounds so sweet but must be a little pita for you sometimes. My boys were like that. Would nearly climb up my legs when we arrived at the inlaws...heck I would do the same. Weirdos sometimes!!! hahahaha!!!
Pretz - I was like that after Bailey & Noah and took iron tablets for a while and a multi vitamin as well. Could be worth a trip to the GP before you ttc to get your iron levels checked!!! Want some of my energy then? I am tired as all the time but just can't stop! I hope it means my thyroid is happier these days.
Wite - get through all the emails?? lol The CHn didn;t recommend anything for the sep anxiety? mmmmmm Nice to be bonded but I can understand that you need a break from it. I guess baby steps...like you mentioned how she was asleep with daddy.
Anyways, BBL this week. I went shoppping today for ME and am exhausted!!!
Happy NINE months to Alannah...My Beauty, My Impossible Princess, My Alannahrama, My daughter. xxxxx
Stay cool!
xxxxx
-
Thanks for the warm welcome Vix, Dory and Fuzzy! ;)
Vix - Yes I might need to go pay the GP a visit and check my iron levels as I have a feeling I might be aneamic (sp?) again. Yes, I'd love some of your energy if you can spare any! lol I too hope that means your thyroid is happier these days! hehe How have been been feeling with regards to your thyroid and when was your checkup blood tests for it again? How did you enjoy your shopping yesterday? See you were exhausted, I am hoping that means you had a blast and was able to find some awesome stuff!! How is my future daughter in law and those gorgeous boys of yours doing today??
Fuzzy - Don't say good bye, just pop in whenever you can and post "me" posts as much as you like. I know how it can get when you have your hands full and can't find the time to keep up to date. I will send you a friend request on FB and perhaps we can get to chat in there and get to know each other? :)
Dory - Sorry to hear about your cold and for also feeling run down. Are you still BF? Congrats on TTCing already, how exciting, although I can imagine that it would be a bit harder not having a cycle to work with. I really do hope that you will get your BFP soon though! ;) Your idea for your LO's first birthday sounds lovely and you're right, it should be made a special day because it is a special occasion, not just for them, but also for us Mummies I believe!
Hello to everyone else! :D
AFM, was up with Noah from 3:30am until around 5:45am this morning - I think it was his teeth bothering him, I can see those top 2 teeth right there under the gum and I sooooo badly wish for them to just cut through already and be over with! Thankfully he went back to sleep from 5:45am until around 7am so I was able to get some extra bit of sleep too. He just crashed for his first nap about 30 minutes ago so I'm hoping he'll sleep a while longer so I can get some stuff done! I also woke up at 3:30am this morning to dreaded old AF, and again have the heaviest bleeding :o but no PAIN or CRAMPS whatsoever (I have endo and suffer with ovarian cysts so have had horrific period pains and cramps all my life but my last 3 out of 4 periods since Noah was born has been pain-free!!!) I just hope AF won't be lasting as long as she did last time (9 days) If it does I might go see my GP as I think I might be a bit aneamic (sp?) again as I've been feeling very weak and tired all the time (even though I think I'm getting enough sleep most of the time).
Hope you all have a great day!
Me xoxo
