I just put her in undies... She seemed to understand after the 6th accident lol, I didn't make a big deal out of the accidents either, but looking back now I truely believe she was ready (I wasn't really).
DD is getting a run bike, pillow pet, magnetic fairy thing, I also want to get her a wooden cupcake/cake set.
No party just a family thing

Ali, you said you have sung songs, did you try a teeth brushing song? DD loves it when I sing the "brush teeth" song - for as long as I am singing the song, I get to brush her teeth, then she can have a go once the song has finished. The song goes like this "Brush brush brush your teeth til they gleam, brush brush brush your teeth til they're clean, brush them in the morning, brush them at night, brush them til they're out of sight!" :lol:
Or something like that! Completely made it up, sing it to whatever tune I feel like, change the words when I forget :lol: But it works to get me brushing her teeth and then she can have a play with the toothbrush when I am done. Its not very long but its enough for me to be sure that her teeth get a good clean.
Ali - I can't give you any advice on the teethbrushing - DS is the same. It works when we all brush our teeth at the same time, and sometimes race to see who finishes first or who finishes last or whatever it takes on that particular day to get him to brush. DS brushes for DH but not for me, so we sometimes do good cop/bad cop. Wow your DD is going great guns. That's awesome that she's been TT so long and is so good holding on - better than me. I think I know every public toilet between here and 10km down the road, let alone QLD. Sounds like she is just like her mum, caring for the other little ones :-D
OP - Go into the kIndle books and search for Acacia Green. Book is called Pulse. I'm the only Acacia Green on there (which is why I chose that name). I'm going to edit the book (again) because there are a few typos in there, which I need to fix and will hopefully start doing in the next week.
AFM - I have rekindled my desire for a treadle sewing machine. Might ask for one for my mother's day/birthday/christmas presents for this year. Nothing much else is happening, except I'm painting the house - ugh!

Did M's measurements today, she's 14.6kg and 102cm
Olive I measured DD the other day and she was 96cm and 14kg. Is 3 years old the age where you can predict their height when they are older? hmm off to google....
I thought it was at 2 ali
I think it is double at 2.
Miss j is 14.5kg and 97cm

Nai - I think there might be a few typos in the Kindle version of my book. :redface:
Ali - it's two when you are supposed to be able to work out how tall they will be as an adult. I think DS was shorter than 80cm, so I may still have a chance of being taller than him when he's an adult. :o
Lilima - nappy free - wow that's great.
DS has come close to TT and then drifted away a few times. He hid under the dining table when he was wearing undies and did a wee then blamed his willy for getting him wet - it wasn't his fault.
Really not sure when to start TT him. So much conflicting advice. He's sat on the toilet a few times and said he's done a poo, but when we look there's nothing there. I don't think he's quite got the whole 'urge' thing understood, so apart from forcing him to sit on the loo/potty seat, I don't know any other way.
Thoughts?

OP - glad you liked the book :-DD The next one is in final edit stage. I'm editing it for what feels like the 20th time. Hopefully, in a week or so, I'll be able to focus on it for two days/week, so the editing will go faster. It should be out in about six months or so.
Ellie - 3rd birthdays? I wish I knew where the last 3 years went.
DS has been loving CC, which is great.

just a quickie- school hols grrr
boof 3rd birthday this thurs- eek!!
i have no idea what to get him- help me girls!!!! any ideas????
boof starts kinder on the 7th - double eek!!!
toilet training- totally done and nearly night trained too!
easiest kid of the lot - so glad i waited that extra time till he had full control and can hold for hours
hanging in there- just- heaps going on at home so life is a bit difficult ATM- but holding it together- JUST
we start building mums house in the next couple of weeks- (she is building a little house on our block) got all permits through from council, block has been cleared- not just waiting for it to be rubber stamp through twon planning (no permission needed, just gotta make sure it follows all building codes etc) . Should take them 4 weeks to build so we will be in a mess for that time but after that things should settle for a bit!!!
surviving the school hols, plenty of lazy days at home as its too damn hot to do anything. Kids eager to go back to school. I am eager for them to go back as well but love not having to get up and rush in the mornings!! gonna miss my sleep ins lol
ooh and BOOF is finally sleeping through the night most nights - yipee - told you he would just before his 3rd birthday lol (just like my other two)
now just gotta get myself to sleep at a reasonable hour lol
