Paycyn, oh wow you are in Chch, my DP is from there we went there for a holiday this year :). Were looking at moving there but would cost too much to do it and I'm not a kiwi so wouldn't get ne benefits or assistance for 2 years :(.
Saffi, ty he actually slept pretty good last night, got up twice while I was still awake and then once in the early hours and then slept through till 10 minutes ago. Got a chest xray at 10.30 fingers crossed all is well. He is watching a movie with a biscuit and a watered down bottle to get some fluids into him.

Not much going on here.....I am trying to get some organisation in to bubba H's room. We are going to go layby a bedroom package this weekend hopefully. Found a nice bertini set that has a cot, change table, dressing table, bookcase, under cot draw and a toy box at the pram warehouse for $1599!! I thought that was real cheap considering the bookcase and the dressing table are $599 and $699 alone!! And the cot is $599 too. Well better go make the bed and get changed before Rhys goes down for his morning nap!!
Welcome Paycyn!! As you can see we are a talkative bunch but we do drop off the face of the earth sometimes too!! Lol.
BBL girls!!

Hello Paycyn! kaleb was a little bub, was he a premmie? My first son Nixon was 5lb 1oz at 33weeks. And i also have an octo bub Tyron who was born on the 14th at full term!
good lukc with your ttc i hope it happens soon for you.
well im still not 100% and i have a specialist appointment booked tomorrow. he is likely going to do more tests to see if there is something else wrong with me cause im still going to the toilet 6-8 times a day and im on day 12 it should well and truely be out of my body by now. my energy levels are really low and ive just been a couch potato since coming home from hospital.
tyron drew on the lounge 3 times in 2 days with texter.... the first 2 times i thought there must have been a texter left somewhere and then i realised he went into our back room, climbed ontop of a few things to reach the bench which had some texters i had put up there.
the 3rd time was yesterday whilst i was having a shower and he actually got a texter out of the rubbish bin and went on his rant again. walls, tv, lounge, toys everywhere... my only svaiour was they come off real easy but i was fuming to say the least!
-
Just wanted to say I'm lurking but still in my pjs and need to have a shower but will bbl!
DH has taken L for another xray on his leg this morning - his walking has really deteriorated over the last few days to the point that he is back to crawling, so needless to say we are pretty concerned :( Hopefully the xray will show a well healed fracture but we're not really sure where to go from there.
Anyway, BBL for a proper post!
-
Nope he wasn't a premmie I had sooooo many problems with my pregnancy and I had IUGR as well but I have had that with my last 3 pregnancies. My 3rd was only 14lb 13oz at 38 weeks.
Celticmoon I hope his chest is all clear for you!
nickers that doesn't sound very good at all! I hope thay can figure out what is wrong. I went through 6 weeks of agony earlier this year when I got an infection in my eyes and they mis diagnosed me and gave me the wrong drops. It ended up being a very bad inflammatory infection that affected all my internal organs as well. I was very sick and lost most of my eye sight while it happened. Thankfully there was no long term affects to my eyes from it though.
Monkeyman'smummy that does sound like a good deal for all of that!!!! What fun shopping for baby things.:D
-
Yeah I just need to see if I can find a bassinette or cradle that will match it all!!
-
I realy like the wooden ones I had one for Kaleb that is a family one but when another family member used it they broke it!!! I was so annoyed. But my MIL bought a new one for the family anyway so I will just use that one.

Evening all
Amelia - so you are setting up a completely new room for baby H. TBH I haven't even really thought about it yet, but we will be using L's cot for the bub and he will move up into a proper sized single bed. I guess we'll need sets of drawers etc. Just waiting to see what we need once we get to the new house. It does sound like a good deal.
Karen - we've got a basinette that DH was in when he was a baby. There is something nice about being able to use a family heirloom even tho its not a nice looking (or probably as safe) as the new ones. It also keeps the MIL happy LOL.
Nic - sorry to hear you're still not well. I hope the specialist has the answer.
IKWYM about the texta. I left some crayons out only to discover that L drew on the walls. I freaked, especially since we have sold the house. But fortunately they were washable Crayolas and wiped straight off. I learned my lesson tho - don't leave crayons lying about and buy washable stuff.
Willow - what did the x-ray results show? Hopefully he is just being a lazy boy and just needs to get used to walking again. Would some physio sessions help?
Celtic - hope Ry's xray came up clear as well.
Hosting mother's group here tomorrow. Got to do some kid proofing before they arrive. L is really good with not playing with the TV etc, but the same can't be said of his playmates.

Saffi - Hope you have fun with mother's group. It's funny, I go to friends places with little ones and don't see a single kiddie lock on anything - not at our place! DS is into everything!
Nicole - sorry to hear you have been so ill, that's awful. How did you go with the specialist??
Paycyn - Welcome!!
As for us, L's xray yesterday came back clear. Fracture has completely healed and nothing else was noted so that's a big relief. Still don't know why he suddenly took a step backwards (scuse the pun ) but the good news is he is walking a LOT better today. So perhaps, as one of the nurses at the hospital clinic suggested, he'd twisted it or pulled it the wrong way and was just being overly cautious with it again :dunno: Anyway, hopefully things will continue to improve and we can stop worrying about it.
-
Willow - good news about L's leg. Sounds like he is getting better.
Amelia - no more monkeyman'smummy....
OMG - I am totally exhausted from mother's group. Its been raining here so we couldn't use the deck so I had 5 kids, 5 mums, and 2 dogs all in our small lounge room. The place was absolutely trashed and food ground into the rug, bubs crying, screaming, running, laughing. Good fun tho. L is down for a nap and I am just finished cleaning up. Next time I host one we'll be in our new house which is so much bigger.
Got the letter in the mail today to say we've been paid the Immunisation Allowance. YAY.
Booked L this morning into a new daycare. Just 2 days a week at the moment until we can build up the days but he will stay at the old one for the other 2 days. He starts the week we move over which is great timing. Quite surprised/pleased how it has worked out.
Anyway, think I'm going to have a rest while L is asleep.

Hey all!
Had my yucky glucose test this morning, I still feel sick thinking about that drink LOL! I then went to the chiro so I had a couple of hours to myself which was nice. My wonderful mum looked after the boys and vacuumed and mopped my floors, you gotta love her :D. K loves her and calls her "nanny" which is too cute! It was so funny, last night we were watching some of the Kath & Kim movie and he saw a scene with Pru & Trude and pointed and said "Nan" (my mum has grey hair like they do).
Saffi - I feel exhausted for you after your efforts this morning! Make sure you do nothing for the rest of the day :). That's great you've got DC all sorted!
Willow - Poor L, I'm glad his leg is all healed up, at least that's reassuring. Hopefully he starts walking normally again soon.
Nic - Good luck at your specialist appointment today. You poor thing, I hope it's nothing serious.
Amelia - Ooh, a name change! Your nursery set sounds gorgeous and such a great price :D.
paycyn - Gosh, it sounds like you go through a lot with your bubs while you're pregnant!
Celtic - Poor Ryan, how did his chest x-ray go? I hope he's OK.
I haven't even started on the babies room yet, I'm going to move K out of it this month at some stage and put him & Joel together. I'm kinda in denial atm, I know once I start putting the room together for the new bub it will feel too real so I'm putting it off LOL! It will be so weird filling the drawers with newborn stuff again and this time *eek* PINK stuff!
Have a great day all!
-
Hey everyone!
We had Chelsea's ultra sound done today.. she was such a good girl, just laid there chatting. Anyway it has all come back clear which is fantastic! YAY!
Saffi - Oh I know how you feel! I have a group of friends and we all have kids ranging from 6 weeks to 6 and whenever we all get together, its soooo hectic! Ya always kinda dread when it is at your house... LOL... Especially cause my house is so small too! YAY for everything working out with L's daycare! Where are you moving to?
Trish - yeah that glucose drink is disgusting! How exciting getting your 'pink' room ready! Good luck with putting the boys in together!
Willow - So glad to hear L's Xray came back clear! What a relief! Hope he is all better really soon!
Amelia - Name Change! LOL... That sounds like a fantastic deal to me for all of that! Id definately go for it! Awwww I so thought you were going to share the sex with everyone!!! No fair! LOL... Hope you are glad with what your getting! :)
Celtic - How is Ryan this morning?
Paycn - Welcome!! LOoking forward to getting ot know you!!!
Nickers - Oh NO! I have had the texta thing happen to me a few times too! LOL... These days I seem to only let the kids have pencils... LOl... I hope your feeling better soon! You have been pretty sick lately hey? Poor thing! Sooo not easy when you still have kids to look after... :(
BBS! Chels has just woken up!!! HI everyone else!!!
-
Yeah thought to change it for something different!! Lol. It is just my initials. Nothing exciting.
-
Kaleb is driving me nuts today on top of af arriving early GRRRRRRR he played up at music he has been doing that for the last few weeks I am thinking of giving up I leave there shattered! And he has un rolled a roll of toilet paper into the loo because Ashton left the door open as usual I could go on!
saffi, Sounds like it was a bit of a circus at your house today! We were meat to have one today but 3 mums pulle dout and other than me and one other person they were to only ones who could make it so we cancelled it which gave me a chance to blob in my chair instead.
Willow good to hear the x-ray was all clear that would be a weight of your mind.
Trish those drinks always make me feel sick when I have them. It is like a torture test as well as you have to sit for 2 hours!!!
sorry if I have missed anyone I have to fly I have 2 boys fighting atm!
-
Trish - My advice (although I'm not following it myself! LOL) is not to leave it too much longer. I'm starting to get tiiiiiiired and haven't done much at all for the baby's room. DH had the day off yesterday and snuck in while I was busy with the kids and started putting the furniture together :wall: I kept telling him it was 'too early' so he just went and did it! If it makes you feel any better, even seeing the cot and most of the change table together (it's from Ikea and DH's patience only lasts so long  He'll finish that on the weekend) still doesn't make it feel real!
DH has done everything so far, cleared the room out, painted it, put the furniture together. My contribution is chucking stuff in the wardrobe as I come across it and thinking 'I'll deal with that later'.
I am so tired even thinking about all the little things I have to do, sorting through and washing the clothes etc etc and shopping for the last minute things I need to buy.
Becky - glad Chelsea's u/sound results were good too.
-
Willow - It's funny how unmotivated you are the third time around LOL! The first couple of times it was exciting setting up the nursery, the third time it just seems hard work . I know, I know, I will get around to it within the next couple of weeks, I'm just trying to keep K in his own room for a bit longer yet ;). Oh, and I definitely have a "I'll deal with that later" pile too
-
Ty for the well wishes haven't been near a comp as my parents came up to look after Ry so I could go to work as big boss came down for a work dinner and made *****y comments about me costing the company money and getting paid to sit at home, because I love having Ry sick of course! *fume*
Anyway the xrays were good, showed infection but nothing too nasty, is having his antibiotics, anti-inflamatory and ventilin and today started eating again, hasnt eaten the last two days but has had a bit today and isn't wheezing as bad so he is on the mend! Now I think I'm coming down with it and have no sick leave left if I do.. oh wells as long as the wee man is well and fighting fit then it's one less thing to stress about. Hate it when they are sick although the 24/7 baby cuddles are lovely :)
