Gosh you girls have been a chatty bunch! Its hard to keep up at the moment. The girls are better Celtic thanks for asking, but in saying that not 100%. We decided to take them out today though, as we have been housebound for the past week. We took them to the Campbelltown Mini Railway which was a lot of fun. They both loved it. Tay was really cute and happy to pose for photos. Mia not so cute and refused to pose for any photos! They are so chalk and cheese.
I will be back for pm's later. I have to go and put another load of washing on. Feels like its never ending, that is what happens when everyone is sick I guess. I could really sleep, soooooooooooo stuffed up and feel like C... RAP. Anyway, no rest for the wicked.
:hello: to you all ... xx

Hi all
What a day of medical tests and appointments. Started the day having the 2 hour GTT test, then went to OB, then had to take L to the Drs for his eye.
Won't get the GTT tests for a few days but the OB has given me a "diet" to follow and I have to record my blood sugars 4 times a day! Tested after dinner and I am within normal range so I am thinking that I don't have GD. Tested DH's bloods and he was higher than me!
As for bub she is a little bit larger than she should be but nothing for concern at the moment. OB is taking about inducing at 38 weeks if I do have GD but no mention of a Csection. May have to rethink my plans of finishing work at 37 weeks.
As for L it was really lucky I took him to the Dr as the infection has spread beyond the initial stye and could become a lot worse. Dr did a whole lot of Dr talk enough to convince me that it is serious. Anyway, L is now on antibiotics and goes back to the Dr on Thursday unless he hasn't improved tomorrow and I am to take him back to the Dr immediately. Kind of sounds scary when I say it that way......
It's getting late so I'm off to bed. Sorry for no perssies. I'll check back tomorrow.

Hey ladies,
How are we all?? Sorry I have been MIA but been a bit hectic since we moved and bigpond has stuffed us around with installation and everything cause it is a new estate. You girls can surely chat your heads off when you want too......I will try and see what I can remember.
TRISH ? AusKick has been advertised on TV up here in QLD lately so I think they are trying to pump it abit more up here. DH is keen for Rhys to do it only cause he grew up in Melbourne and his step brother plays for the Collingwood Magpies. He has the whole kit and caboodle in his winter wardrobe already....jersey with his number on it, the track pants, a beanie, foot socks. All black and white!! Lol.
MO ? I hope you get M?s results back all clear and there is nothing seriously wrong.
NERIDA ? Tell me about the Dr?s appt?s. The past week I have had 4 and having to catch public transport around to get to them has made them super long days.
CATHERINE ? Welcome back and CONGRATS to you, danny and ro on the new little pink bundle of joy. What is her name??
JULIA ? Croup does suck big time. How is M now?? YAY on the official date for moving....I know it is a massive job trying to get the house all packed up and sorted by yourself I did it when we moved back from Mackay the other week. Mission and a half I can tell you.
AMBER ? Don?t worry bout M?s speech. Rhys isn?t talking at all, besides the simple mum, dad, truck and the little one?s like that. My nephew who is 26 months old has only just started talking and becoming a parrot and mimicking everything we say but on the other hand my other nephew who is only 2 months older then him and goes to day care every day can hold a full conversation with you. Just varies on the child.
CELTIC ? Congrats on the PG!!!
AFU ? From when I was last on posting I was supposed to be going for my scan the next day.....well we went (and that was the same day we moved) and the little arrogant so-and-so guy that attempted to do the scan just looked at baby without doing any measurement and said can?t do the scan baby isn?t big enough. So we had to re-book for yesterday but I chose to go somewhere else. So now my EDD is now the 7th of Oct instead of the 25th of Sept. My placenta is sitting right on my c/s scar and I have to go for more in depth scans but it looks like I have no chance of a VBAC now cause they said there is a 85% chance of me needing to have a hysterectomy if I give birth naturally compared to a 12% chance of doing a repeat c/s. We found out the sex yesterday but we decided last minute that we aren?t telling anyone besides our mothers. So you can all have a guess if you wish, but both names we have chosen both start with H so for now it is known as Bubba H!! Lol.
Hi to those I missed....I think it was Kim, Kaz, Kellie, Nickers and Willow. Anyone else out there HELLO to you too!!
Take Care.!!

Amelia - Ahh! I saw you had posted and got all excited about finding out your bub's gender and then you said you're not sharing - not fair LOL! Fair enough though, it's fun to keep people guessing. I'm too much of a big mouth to not be able to share things like that . I'm glad you're all moved in, are you happy where you are? Bummer about where the placenta is, hopefully it's not as bad as first thought.
Saffi - Poor L, how is he going today? Hopefully the antibiotics kick in quickly and he recovers really soon.
Kaz - I'm glad the girls are on the mend, it's awful when they're both sick at the same time.
Celtic - That must be so handy having someone cooking and cleaning for you while you're so busy and baking another bub!
Julia - How's the packing going? You realise how much cr@p you've been storing away when you have to pack don't you?!
Willow - So jealous of the idea of a post-baby wardrobe. I just cleaned my wardrobe out today and went to throw out some clothes (I have HEAPS), but for some reason I couldn't part with a lot of it . I only like/wear such a small percentage of what I have, it seems silly! I did a mass shoe throw out though, it felt so good LOL!
Amber - How are you going love? I hope you're not feeling as down atm.
Mo - How are you and the girls going atm? How's your mum?
I went to a baby market on Sunday and bought some gorgeous girls clothes, I really don't need any more clothing, but they were SO cute! I had to bring poor K with me because DH & Joel were away and he was so good. He happily sat in his stroller looking at everything. His latest passion is mandarins, he will eat a whole one in minutes and then say "Mum, more?" hee hee! I have to go and buy some more tomorrow to keep up with his habit.
Anyway, better go. I have a chicken roasting in the slow cooker (mmmm...) and I have to get some veggies going.
Ooh, and for anyone who can't post using the QR button, click on the "Post Reply" button (bottom left-hand side) instead. There is a glitch atm making life on BB weird!
-
Amelia - here I was getting excited thinking you'd tell us. Are you pleased with the gender????
Trish - got to get myself to one of these markets!
Not sure about L's eye. The DC Director thought it was looking worse, so I rushed to pick him up and take him to the Dr. Got to DC and don't think it looks that bad. I'll reassess the situation in the morning. One benefit is that he does mega sleeps on the ABs. Didn't hear a peep out of him overnight and I think DH had to wake him this morning.
So far my blood sugars are in normal range so I am 99% confident I don't have GD. Kind of fun doing the home test and getting an instant result.
Not much else to report. Have a good evening.

Hi girls, belly belly has been trying over the past couple of days and considering we have been sick and housebound, I have really missed it. Happy to say the girls are well and truely on the mend, even go as far to say they are back to normal. I am still a bit blah, bad sinuses and constant nausea at the moment. We went out today and I got the hot sweats, so I know that I am still not well. Other than that not much news, we are looking forward to getting back to normal and being able to get out and about!
Saffi - I hope L's eye looks a lot better in the morning, hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and you will see an improvement soon.
Trish - It must be exciting having a girl after two boys, I often wonder what it would be like to have a boy. I have the feeling we are going to be blessed with 3 girls though. Only time will tell!
Amelia - Welcome back and I know all about internet provider's not doing the right thing. We have only just gotten adsl after moving to Melbourne in June last year! I kept Tay's gender a secret as well, and told our friends and family we didnt know ... was hard. If we get pregnant again, I dont think we will find out!
:hello: Julia, Amber, Celtic, Willow, Bec, Mo and anyone else I have missed x

I am lurking....nothing really going on here at the moment!! Just chillin and starting to get things together for bub's room. My mum went out and bought us a new fisher price swing where the acutal seat detachs of the frame and becomes a rocker/bouncer, which is real cool and I have just finished putting that together. Thinking I might get Rhys' newborn clothes out this afternoon and get all the unisex stuff out of it so that way who ever goes into bubs room can't pick the gender!! Lol. I'll see what happens, might get stuck on here...Lol.
-
Hey all! I've been around, but BB has been down and glitchy so I haven't been on as much. I've come back down with this horrid cold again :(. I was feeling a bit better this week, but yesterday the nose started up again and today my throat and sinuses hurt too. This has been going on for weeks, grrrr! Fortunately the boys are well. K had a lovely morning when I took him to the park to play with his cousin's and friends, Joel was at kinder so it was nice for us to get out. He is still trying to do everything Joel does, one funny thing he does is when Joel goes to the toilet, K will stand next to him and lift his own top up just like Joel does when he pees LOL! Hopefully TT'ing K will be easy compared to Joel.
I had a midwife appointment last night and bub is doing well. Measuring at 28 weeks so she seems to be on track. As per each other visit, she wriggled away from the doppler making it hard for the poor midwife. She's very cheeky! Everyone who has tried to use a doppler or do an u/s on her has mentioned how active she is, I'm a bit worried LOL!
DH just sent me an email saying my new car is ready for pick up on Monday. I'm kinda sad to give up my Aurion, it's been such a treat to have one! This time I'm getting a Yaris, I'll have to try and cram all three kids in the back! We went to a dealership before ordering it to see if 3 car seats will fit and they do, it's just a bit squishy. Luckily I only drive to the kinder and local shops, we use DH's car on weekends and there is much more room in for the kids.
Amelia - Are you dropping hints re: the unisex stuff? It's going to kill me not knowing your bub's gender!
Kaz - Poor you, I hope you are starting to feel better . It is exciting having a girl after having 2 boys, practically everyone expected we'd have another boy because that's what seems to be the trend in DH's family (everyone has all of one gender)! It's fun buying pink stuff for a change!
Saffi - It sounds like you are free from GD, how did your test results go? How's L's eye? Hopefully it's all cleared up.
Just wishing Amber another :happybirthday: in here LOL! Hope you're having a great day :D
Hi to everyone else!
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBER! Hope you had a lovely day!
Will be back soon for some more personals... :)
-
That is why I said Unisex Trish. Cause Rhys was the last born after my 2 nephews I got all their hand me downs and they didn't find out the sex so there is alot of unisex stuff in there!!
-
I'm around will be bbl for personals.
Kodi wants her feed & i can only type so much one handed.

Hey all, I'm lurking but haven't had much time to post with the probs over the last few days and DS has croup :wall:
He isn't too bad, got onto it straight away and started him on predmix yesterday. Nights are not too bad, he's woken once the last two nights but it's me laying awake all night listening to the monitor to make sure he's OK that's making me tired! Day sleeps have been a bit hit and miss the last few days. Trying not to stress about it and put it down to him being unwell, but man it's hard with another bub due in a few weeks. I NEED him to have a sleep during the day!! Another mum told me the predmix can make them a bit hypo and un-sleepy so hopefully that's all it is.
Hope all other mums and bubs are feeling better soon (can't believe you're sick again Trish!! )
:happybirthday: again AMBER!!
-
Willow I'm on prednisolone which is kinda the same as predimix & it makes it very hard to un-wind. So i would say it's just the predimix.
Hope L feels better soon. How is everything going with the pregnancy?
Trish  you must be so over being sick. Really hope you get over the virus soon.
Saffi how is L's eye doing?
Kaz glad the girls are feeling better.
AFU
Maddi's test results came back all clear, she does have low iron so she's on a multi-vitamin till she starts eating red meat. Can't believe how hard it is to give her meat. At the moment she's living on an apple & chicken diet. She's also had this horrible cold for over a week now but hopefully now she's on vitamins she'll get over it quicker.
Kodi is doing well, She only gained 180g in 2wks. Which is still a good weight gain but she was gaining 400-440g every 2wks so it's a big drop for her. We think it's because my colitis is starting to flare so it's affecting my milk.
I see my G.I next week so hopefully we can get it under control.
Hope everyone else is well. Big belly rubs to all the pregnant ladies :)
-
Willow - Tay had croup last week, or the week before ... I cannot keep up. Two days on predmix and she was heaps better. She was also on anitbiotics for her ear infections and tonsilitis as well, so she seemed to get over her bug really quickly! Hopefully your bubba has a speedy recovery as well..!!
Amber - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :happybirthday:
Amelia - Going through baby clothes, I love that job. I remember doing it when I was pregnant with Tay and its kinda like Christmas. They grow so quickly and I love seeing all those really little clothes and getting excited to use them again!
Trish - Your bug seems to be a stayer, your poor thing! I wish I had some tips for you. Have you been to the doctors? Its not something that you need meds for is it?
:hello: Julia, Mo, Becky, Saffi and Celtic ... who have I missed? Feels like I have missed someone, sorry if so.
Not much news here. Feeling a bit crappy today with what feels like pms pains. I thought this might have been our month with me ovulating etc, but maybe not. If my cycle sticks to 40 days I will know in 11 what to go is. Looks like the clomid presciption will be getting filled after all. Other than that my girls are really well, but so naughty. Mia told Tay yesterday that we don't love her anymore. And yes she is 3, god knows where she got that from. She is also walking around telling everyone she is pregnant, another thing I have no idea where she has heard it. She is 3 going on 23!
Better go, just start cooking a roast chicken for dinner and want to do the rubbish before it gets 2 cold and dark outside.
x

Mo - Prg is going well, thanks for asking. But bub is causing mum a bit of stress - last appt was breech and at Weds appt was transverse :wall: Ob confident s/he will turn and we don't have to start worrying till about 36 weeks so just hoping Boo will turn before then.
So glad to hear Maddi's results were all good. Hope Kodi's weight gains pick up again when you're feeling better
-
You're a tease Amelia LOL! I'll be watching you carefully in case you slip up :p
Willow - Aww, poor L . Croup is so awful. I bet it is the medication that is messing with his naps, it definitely made Joel really hypo when he took it. I'm sure your bub will turn soon, the midwife told me last night that there is more room in there the third time around so the bub can still move around heaps and take longer to get into position.
Mo - I'm glad Maddi got the all clear, hopefully you can get some red meat into her soon! Kodi's weight gain still sounds great, it can fluctuate from time to time. How's your mum been going?
Kaz - Because I've got a virus there isn't anything I can take :(. I can't even take cold & flu tablets which sucks so much! I have my fingers crossed for you that your impending AF symptoms are actually early pg symptoms :). LOL @ Mia for saying she's pregnant, how cute!
I forgot to mention to the Vic ladies that I'm hoping to go to the Berwick baby & kids market this weekend (if my cold doesn't strike me down too much). So if anyone else is going let me know and we can meet up there!
-
Trish i'll go just so we can meet up :)
I'll leave Maddi at her Aunties or with her Dad so i can have a mini break lol
