haha, yeah Marta has some good rolls on her hahaha! her standing and using the furniture to get around is doing my head in. like you guys, DD1 hadnt even started crawling yet...it's a different ball game when they start so young: i feel that emotionally she's not quite ready in that she doesnt have the concept of gravity etc down pat (whereas DD1 was all over it and alot more cautious when it came to her time to stand and walk etc).
marta had her first babycino today  she loved it...the beast is unleashed lol.
hello ladies,
anyone home? just popping in to say hi.....
yeah, i'm always here
I miss you guys! It's has been so hectic here of late I have had time to myself!!! I can't see the pics :-( I do see Marta on FB very cute but Mily I can't open it :-( but I'm not thatclever on the computer either lol well at least thisnew one anyway!!
A while ago u were talking about food - can't remember if I replied so I thought I would now - you know the ikea bowls?? That's what we use at home n at school so that what I mean by bowlfull
so breakfast she has 1-2weetbix with purée apple or pear or nothing if I haven't made any lmao then morning tea fruit again she's starting to have whole pieces now like peeled apple pear rockmelon watermelon grapes -seedless lol then lunch she gets spoilt coz of were I work - we have a full time cook - so her lunch I'd anything from couscous with chicken, spaghetti bol , sandwiches, creamy chicken with bacon spinach n pasta, sang chow bow (chicken Asian dishes) when it's taco day they just have the mince - n they are also offere a mixture if purée vegies everday - she usually has 1 - 1.5 bowls for lunch - if she didn't get brekky then her m/t is bigger otherwise its a small bowl - arvo tea is again different peices of fruit or purée fruit, applycrumble, arrowroot bicsuit or 2 lol - custard or yoghurt - which she hasnt tried yet, I'd prefer the yoghurt specifcally made for babies - she usually doesn't eat dinner at home just coz she eats s much during the day, on top of tha she has 3-4bottles of 150-200mls a day - may sound like a lot may not but Audrey is tiny n is a pooping machine lol
oh ih oh oh how could I have not mentioned!!!! Audrey has a tooth, she got it last night and we didn't even know it was coming she wasn't bothered at all n there was no bump just a bit grizzly at school then 6pm pop broke the skin!!!! AND no crawling, well she moves around just backwards everywhere but but but yesterday she moved forward to get a toy!!!! Yayayayayayaya!!!!
Cassus is Marta walking yet?? That would be amazinf if she were!!!! Tell me what's been happening ladies I'm a bit out of the loop!!! Also do your LO eat sandwiches yet!? I was suprised that Audrey can n does n seems to enjjoy them too!!
Talk soon
Just checking in.....
hi guys! phew, it has been awhile! i had been *trying* to step back from BB for a little bit...can be sooo addictive at times lol! but here i am
HPL: so is little Audrey crawling around yet? did she get her toy :)
she sounds like she is eating some really yummo stuff! we might just pop on by if that's ok lol. As for marta, well she pretty much eats whatever we are eating. but she really likes vegie soup for some reason. although i have to say that it is one messy meal as she *needs* to put her hands in it and swish it all around hahaha.
Milly: how is little bubba girl going at childcare these days? i  that she has found her groove and has a few little friends to play with. it is so awesome once they are settled and you can really see them just flourish in that environment. new toys, new people and then it is soo so so so wonderful picking them up of an afternoon *mwah* all those cuddles.
AFM: we are all pretty awesome here. marta is really on the move and is destructo baby 101. she can surf along furniture now and even climb up onto things which is a bit scary. thankfully she isnt walking on her own yet...but it truly doesnt stop her. as i type she is climbing up onto the shelf of her change table and throwing all her MCNs and nighties on the ground . goodbye baby and hellllloooooooooo toddler hahahahahahahaha!
she is also in desperate need of a haircut. her hair is sooo long now that hairclips are struggling. i do put her in ponytails etc, but she really can't see when it is down :)
hope you are all awesome! i am so blown away by how fast these little people are growing. DH is already clucky and apparently is just waiting for my green light lol! what about you guys? y
HI ladies,
just popping in to say hi and HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY BABIES!!!!!!! Can you believe that a year has gone already?
:hello: buggar boo I posted a big long post and have lost it :wall: So in a nut shell I started hiding under my chair wondering if I was still welcome in this thread as I left it so long ago :hide: But after the lovely milly popped in to say hello to me I got wondering how you all are? Then I went on to say that ds is great and a happy little soul. We are still co-sleeping and I LOVE it, the cuddles and kisses in the morning are my fav thing ever! :loveshower: He's only just got his 4th tooth pop through today... very slow teether! But they haven't given him too much grief either and because we are still breastfeeding I'm kinda glad they have taken a while to come through too. He's walking and talking and in general is a really healthy little man who we love to bits!
Hope you are all well xx
Hi Ladies,
How has everyone been... I havent gotten any alerts to say people had been posting :( sorry for not getting on here sooner!!!
So glad everyone's little bubbas are doing well!! Cherished Audrey still only has 2 teeth and im okay with that lol she does suffer when teething... hopeing she gets some more soon otherwise it will be a little alarming she only has 2....
Milly: I didn't get notification of your post - so HAPPY BLATE BIRTHDAY TO ALL OUR LITTLE ONES!!!! lol
Cass: Audrey was crawling by our last post - she started walking not long after actually in late July / Early August she was off and running....
How is everything else going with everyone?? Any signs of cluckyness yet??? I know I do ..... probably because I AM PREGNANT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! WWWOOOOOHHHHOOOOOO it's only early and very hush hush but I am and Im getting married next month on the 12th!! Super Excited!!!
Anyway thats my story lol....
What are your thoughts, if bubba is bottle fed, about throwing away the teat bottles?? audrey has 3 bottle a day barely even 150mls should i be thinking about taking them off her? or at least starting to wean - she'll take milk from sipper cups normal cubs straw cups anything.... I dont know.. give me our thoughts.
cherio!!
HPL
Hello lovely ladies :hello:
SO AWESOME TO BE BACK IN HERE!!!!
(thanks milly :)).
AFU: Marta is growing so super fast it isnt funny! her hair is now below her shoulders :o and i can do pigtails and plaits with ease hahahaha.
She is on the verge of walking (ie can take about 10 steps and then falls down on her bum...which she gets quite cross about!).
We also have realised that she is a bit of a climber, when, the other day she pulled out the drawers in the kitchen and attempted to climb up onto the bench!!!! far out, i almost had a coronary when i found her halfway up!!
I LOVE watching my girls play together and have loads of fun with eachother. it is just so gorgeous :)
Milly: seriously, i cannot believe that these guys are all of a sudden toddlers and not wee little babies anymore! it all happened so fast! i remember when they arrived so well, that i just can't believe we are out of little baby stage...
Cherished: we had a rush of teeth a few months back but that seems to have stopped at 6 teeth...but like you we didnt have any issues with them (thankfully!). i hope that it has to do with her teething necklace lol.
*mwah* on cuddles and kisses in the morning :loveshower:. Marta now sleeps in with Leila and that works pretty well. that said, at her first little snuffle or grumble i am running in there and bringing her back into our bed as i miss her being in with us lol! she usually does this around 5am so in a way we kinda get to wake up next to her a couple of hours later and i just love it :)....although Marta is more into wrestling and pillow fights when she wakes up
HPL: My DD drinks straight from a cup now. so i reckon if you stick with sippy cups or straws for her milk it should be AOK....so much easier to wash as well!
AND...
CONGRATULATIONS on the NEW bundle of love growing in your belly!!!!
:happyforyou:
ohh yeah the cluckiness is really in full boot now lol!!! that said, i will wait for when we get back from the US before we really think about baby #3....omg, 3 kids lol!
(oh yeah, we are moving OS for a year ...first LA and then Pisa/florence). so excited. so scared. so excited hahahaha!
Hi Ladies!!!!
I have missed you all - it's good to "see" everyone again! I know, we all get busy (me included), but it was lovely to read all your posts.
Cherished - you are always welcome here!!!
Glad to hear your little man is doing well. And walking - obviously his feet are now fine, which is great.
Last time we heard from you Cherished, you were having a bit of a rough time, I hope things are much better for you now, it sounds like things are going well anyway. Oh, and I have still been trying to loose weight too - hopefully you are better at it than I am!!
HPL - CONGRATS!!!!! VERY EXCITING!!!! How far along are you - when are you due? Pg for your wedding - how exciting!
Cass - pig tails and OS - my lots have happend!!!! When do you leave for OS??
So, as for us ... mixed in with answers to your questions...
Teeth - we have six. Four of which came through in the space of 3 days :OMG: Like you Cass, we had a bit of a run, and then nothing. DD doesn't do so good with teething, always seems to end up with an ear infection with every tooth - both ears when the four came through together.
Hair - still pretty thin, no pigtails here!
No walking yet, she only began crawling at 11 & 1/2 months - mainly because of having been in the harness. But she is now pulling herself up, and taking a few steps if I hold her hands, but like Marta is a bit of a climber and a daredevil. She climbs on to the rocker and then kneels on the top of it and bounces and rides it like a bucking bull! She has also tried to climb out of the bath on her own too.
Sleeping - well that still is our biggest challenge - little miss has been pretty much "boobed to sleep" which has been REALLY hard to break. Of course she goes to sleep for day care, just not for mum. THen just when she does my head in after having a day of not napping, the next day she will put herself to sleep. :shakes head: I swear she is just doing it to let me know who is in charge! She sleeps fairly well most nights, though she is in our bed a couple of nights a week from about 3 or 4 am. I don't get a good nights sleep with her in the bed with us, so it's really only for those nights when she is either sick or mummy's eyes are hanging out of her head!
And sick - well, BOY have we had those - HPL - is that a normal daycare thing - on average, she would have had an illness every six weeks I reckon. Her most significant illnesses have been slapped-cheek virus, hand-foot-mouth and tonsilitis as well as 4 ear infections and a copule of colds. I didn't think she would get this sick still being breast feed (yep us too cherished) but I am told "DayCare" is a hive of kiddie illnesses, and that she will supposedly be much better now that she is one (and that she shouldn't get all those sicknesses at school because she would already have been exposed to them), well, here's hoping.....
Milk - well, she was down to about 3 or 4 BF a day, which went up to about 8 when she was last sick (because she wouldn't eat), but we have now dropped back to 2 BF per day now. SHe has milk in a bottle, but likes her water in a cup. It has been a challenge to get her to take even EBM from any vessel other than the "true source" so now that she is finally taking it from a bottle, I won't be chucking ours in the near future HPL! ;)
So I too have some news, and I am SOOO pleased to be able to tell you girls first; this is my first post about it....
I too got a BFP!!! (HPL - I hope you don't mind me sharing your joy!)
I only got my BFP on Tuesday night - I almost posted but then chickened out, cos I really wanted to tell you girls, as you have been my rocks - right through my journey of TTC, m/c, pg, and then with babe.
Anyway, I'm 5 weeks today, so still only early days (I haven't even vomited yet so that's how early it is LOL!).
Well, that's all from us.
Lovely to talk to you all again. XXX
OMG!!!!
MILLY!!!!
:happyforyou:
that is just wonderful news! Congratulations!!
haha, you and HPL could be baby buddies again lol!
Milly!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!! That is amazingly great news!!!! I too am only early, about 6wk n 3days lol
Can't remeber if I have a ticker yet.... I ventures into PAML as I was quite nervous but am now quietly excited!!! yay
I'm due on the 14 Jun 12.......
Day care kids get really sick.... As I type this I am in hospital waiting for Audrey to have surgery :-( just grommets but since she was 6mths old she has had 8 perferated ear drums 3 cases of tonsilitis ;-( so surgery was our only option.... BUT once they are a bit older they will
Immune to so much and won't get as sick... First year in child carr is the worst....
So excited we are going to have more bubbas!!! Yay
Oh my goodness 2 :bfp: !!!!! I am so very happy for you HPL and Milly and I'm also green with envy!!! ;) SO every exciting! My friend from my mums group (that I don't go to anymore) told me yesterday that she is pregnant too! Bubbas all round... except for me :( I am getting a knee operation and won't be able to even think about starting to ttc until next year some time. I wan tot start as soon as physically possible (Feb) but dh is yet to say 'yes' it's really getting me down :crying: As you all know I wanted another baby the day ds was born and have been insane about it ever since. then with it taking 16 cycles to conceive ds I'm feeling like another baby is ages away!!! At least I can live the excitement through you 2 girls and my mums group friend!
HPL what a bummer about the teething, have you got a necklace, I think it really helps ds. Regarding the milk etc ds just has his big water drink bottle and he finishes it off every day. I just leave it on his little table and he drinks it whenever he feels like it and with meals etc. He's still breastfeeding but nowhere near as much. maybe some in the morning when he wakes up, during the night a bit and he started not having any before his day nap and doesnt' often have it at night when he goes to bed either. I had thought that he might always need it to go to sleep as I too (Milly) boobed him to sleep since birth, but he's fine.
Cas WOW pigtales already!!! Marta always had a good head of hair though. DS has light brown/blonde curly hair which I LOVE, it's a bit wild most days too which is the cutest thing. I am also thinking that when we start ttc I will get out of ds's bed, at the moment he goes to bed alone around 6pm and wakes up around 4hrs (ish) later. I would normally give him milk but he now has some water and goes back to sleep so technically I could probably just give him the water and go back to bed in our room... but I jump in with ds until the morning cause I just LOVE it! But really the most ideal thing would be to just get that couple of hours in the morning like your guys and Marta. And are you going to go for a 3rd?!?
Milly wow still can't believe that BFP!! I saw another thread of yours and thought you must be trying ;) Sounds like you've had a rough run with sickness. I'm so thankful ds has only had one cold (a mild one at that), he's never even had green snot running out of his nose. I can't imagine how hard that is for you guys?
HPL Goodness hon I didn't realise you'd had all that health trouble. How very scary being at the hossy for an op with you bubbs :( Hope everythign turns out ok
HPL: aww poor bubba! I reckon the grommets should help no end. we had a mum in the 07 baby group that i am in say that it was awesome for her kids (twins).
Cherished: when is the op? that has been painful for sooo long now . is DH a bit frightened about another baby in the house? I have to say that we were a bit frightened even after i recovered from the PND i had that we waited a bit longer (i wanted a whole year after i last felt the effects). i have to say though that having a second baby is so amazing! (not that the first isnt ITMS!) i found that the stress was really off as it isnt such a big change in life IYKWIM. and financially we found it AOK as all the big expenses of the first baby werent as full on for the second as we had alot of the stuff already...
Also i kinda get the fear of how long TTC can take. it took 23 months for DD1 and i was so so worried that it would take that long again (and face the prospect of more losses). it was much faster this last time around, it took 9 months for DD2...so much faster!!
Milly: yep, childcare is a perfect breeding ground for bugs lol! i remember DD1 spent her first year and a bit always sick! it was pretty exhausting. this time with DD2 it was full on from word go as her Big Sister would come home with illnesses...Marta was 3 weeks old when she got her first cold :(. have to say though that now she is a bit older she is awesome at powering through colds etc.
AFM: we are starting to really realise that come January we are moving OS to LA...had to turn down CC for the girls today and what with 12 month+ waiting list it was hard to say no lol!
marta is now walking 80% of the time  it has taken her awhile to get confident but now it is finally happening! it suddenly feels as though she is much bigger lol.
Hi ladies,
how are you all doing?
HPL - how is little Audrey? how did her surgery go, that must have been quite distressing for you, but hopefully will be a great help for her.
My EDD is 22 June, so we are almost BB again! :)
Cherished - when is your knee op, and what do you have to have done? Is that from when you fell over a few months ago, or had you always had a bad knee?
Don't panic with your TTC for No2 - I just kept telling myself that my body would now go "ahh, so that's what I'm meant to do" and it did - it took almost 2 years for us too (and a m/c) for DD1 to arrive, but only took 5 months of serious TTC this time(we were kind of half-arsed about it before then - not so well timed and my AF not so regular), including while BF (and BF ALOT - she has only really dropped the feeds since I got the BFP and my milk almost vanished in the space of a few days). So I am sure that it will also be easier for you too the next time round.
AFU - well, DD has become really unsettled with sleeping and napping - she has been fighting me every step of the way. Last night, she cried for an hour in my arms, nothing at all would settle her, she was just so tired and worked herself up to a frenzy, and then she did the same this morning - at least it was only for half an hour though. I hope she is not coming down with something. I did notice that her bottom left back teeth have broken through, hopefully that's all it is (and hopefully not a teethinig-ear infection as well).
And me, well I had my first chuck on the weekend - here comes MS! God I hope it's not as bad as last time - I don't think I will cope with an active non-sleeping todler as well as chucking all the time!
Cheerio for now,
I will try and pop in again soon, though I really only get to "play" on the computer about once per week, so I apologize in advance if my posts are a bit slow.
xxx
ps - note to self - must update ticker - DD still only one! LOL!
Sorry ladies won't be posting for a while in here - sorry milly I'm losing the baby so were not BB ... Having a d&c on Thursday
 HPL...so so hard xx am thinking of you :comfort:
Oh HPL, I am so sorry hon!!!!
My card what a roller coster ride we are on!!!! Read my post in the Story's of Loss - #2 Loss, Great!! Oh there is a story in there, I updated a little while ago. Holy heck what a confusing time..
DD1 has been soooooo clingy the last few days its been crazy! He new favourite word is no she even has the shacking of the head down pat lol - its quite cute really to see her little tamtrums hahaha....
She has basically dropped her bottles too execpt her night bot bot... shes awesome!! Question - should i be concerned that she only has 2 bottom teeth :$ i think she is cutting her top ones but its so hard to tell as she wont let me in there!! Stubborn head strong child - dont know where she got that from lol
Best be off to digest more of this horror story - night ladies
:hug::hug: HPL I am so sorry All my thoughts will be with you tomorrow. Be kind to yourself and hold that beautiful little DD of yours tight. No need for concern about the the teeth. As you know ds only just got his 2 top teeth.
HPL: FAR OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know that you are freaking out, but i am so happy for you! SO SO happy that you were able to get a second opinion!! your baby was just needing some time to grow a bit bigger!!!
i have everything crossed that the next week brings beautiful, confirmation so that you can just enjoy xx
HPL - I posted in your other thread, but just wanted to say again: "OMG" and "yay the 2nd opionion!"
Hi Cherished & Cass!
Thanks ladies - it has been crazy and very emotional for us - further more my Bridal Shower is on Saturday which I am extemely excited about and then I get married next week!!!
It has been very difficult on us but were hoping this wedding and family being around will ease the pain we've been through and have some time for joy and happiness
Will keep everyone posted on what is happening xxxx
HI ladies,
just popping in to say hi,
HPL - I hope your bridal shower was lovely, and we'll all be thinking of you this saturday! Here's hoping you have great weather and it all goes off without a hitch! And I know that you are WAY too busy to be posting, but just wondering how you are doing..... thinking of you
Hi Cass, Hi Cherished!!
AFM - well DD is now weaned :( I wasn't quite ready as in prepared for this, but my milk literally dried up overnight, and BF (well comfort sucking) became UNTOLERABLE. so I am kind of sad about it all really. oh well, I guess it was going to happen sooner or later.
oh Milly  it is always a bit sad when it happens i reckon...but also kinda cool in the sense that your relationship with DD is changing and growing in new ways too ITMS?
HPL: hope that the bridal shower was awesome!!!
Cherished: hello! :hello:
Milly: oh my love I do remember Audreys last feed so fondly - it was over way too fast for me too, I envy you ladies that were able to continue this far .... But Cass ia right now enters the new stage of your bonding and growing together...
Cass: I did have a good Bridal Shower few up and down moments coz of the in laws but my friends and family made it perfect :-D ... I totally agree with what you were saying to Milly about the new bond, when Audrey stopped ; granted it was at 8 mths ( :-( ) we started bonding in a new way it was lovely to watch us grow flowers together as if she new mummy wasn't just there for boobie time and food it was more than that lol
Cherished: the teeth thing really wish I'd kept my mouth shut about that, thanks for the reassurance though about DS... Sadly she started teething again like this week hasnt been stressful enough lol welcome back sleepless nights and black eyes for work!!! Turns out her top 2!! Teeth are coming through as well az an eye tooth on the left :-( poor baby she's struggleing with it this time around... Her top left and eye tooth are almost through the right side a little lagging behind can see it i just pray it doesn't go back up...
Well as for me I AM GETTING MARRIED ON SATURDAY!!! In 3 day!!!! Oh My Gosh soooo exciting.... Pick the dress up FridH, Tan today, Mani and Pedi ekk - oh but I guess the MOST exciting thingi get to do today is see my baby again!!!! have an appt with my OB at 10am so dropped DD off at school pick my mummy up and off we go!!! Fingers crossed girls baby has grown and there's a super strong heartbeat!!!!!
Will try and get on and update here as well as PAML ....
Hi Ladies,
how are you all doing?
HPL - how are you going hon?
How is Audrey doing now with her grommets?
Cassius - have you moved yet? How have you settled in? I bet packing was a nightmare! I hate moving - not the going somewhere new, the packing and moving.
Cherished - how is your knee? do you know when your surgery is?
AFM - well, all good here. DD has finally started walking, so it is now time to go back to the orthopeadic surgeon for a review for her hips (appt next month). She has been going really well, though she has had a few bumps and bruises from falling over. She is a climber - she has gone from furniture walking to walking to climbing up on the lounge and coffee table in the space of about two weeks! and she is so fast! And she has now had her first hair cut, only the most miniscule ammount though, LOL.
Hope you are all doing well,
xxx
Hello beautiful Milly :hello: so lovely to hear from you! I'm not doing that well really. I've had the most depressing 4 months of my life I think. dh decided in October that he never wanted another baby. I am shattered and am hoping that he will change his mind by ds's 2nd birthday. I had the knee op in November and have only just started yesterday walking a bit without crutches. It's going to be a long road of recovery. I still have weight to loose which is also depressing but I plan to have lost 13kg's by September so that even in dh hasn't changed his mind I will at least be feeling good physically if not emotionally. ds is also a big climber, he's in't everything!!! We are still going great with him, he has a 1.5 - 2hr sleep every day and is in bed between 6-7pm at night although I am still co-sleeping and he still feeds a couple of times a night. Not sleeping through at all.... This has been tough as I'd love to sleep more at night time! He's still breastfeeding stacks which I love so am happy there. I'm still at home which again I love, feel so blessed to be able to be with him every day. dh is also home still 6 days out of 8 so he's being a super daddy and loving it. All in all I can't really complain, if I don't get #2 then at least I've still got a lovely family of 3...... Or at least that is what I'll keep telling myself! ds is a slow teether, he's only got 6 teeth at the front and just last week had 2 molars start to pop through up the top. Other than that I don't think I've got much to tell.
How's everyone else doing?
Hi girls!
sorry for the late reply! i seem to have limited time with teh internet atm as we are relying on one computer here in LA...pressure is on to get DH another one lol.
Cherished: i am so sorry to hear that these times have been so challenging  that is shattering news from your DH. very hard to process :( I can only hope that with time he will re think this choice... (i can only go from what happened with my DH first time around).
Milly: I hope that meetign with the ortho gives her the all clear!! sounds like she is managing well and beyond the norm! awesome stuff! (we have a climber too...found her once on the outside table doing a dance :o).
AFU: well, we have been pretty good overall. BIG move to LA. it was tricky to pack so much and yet so little for a year away. my mantra was 'less is more' lol. it appears to have worked and gives me the BEST excuse to do lots of shopping hahaha. also loving the fact that i get to deck out another room for the girls hahaha.
Marta is walking, saying a couple of words...AND sleeping in a Big Girl bed without a sleeping bag....it all happened here in LA. she just decided for herself to sleep on a bed and refused to put on her bag...:( my baby is getting really big and TBH i wasnt quite ready! i want my baby a bit longer!!!
and *snap* milly! marta also had her first haircut. we were in beverly hills and they had a kids hairdresser. so we walked in and got the girls a cut...wished i had of asked how much first  i walked out pale and shaky hahahahahaha!
ummm, what else? Marta is still a BIG booby baby. we are still managing 5-6 feeds (that i count lol) a day. it is a bit trickier over here as there are no laws protecting BF. in fact, the US hasnt ratified the 'rights of the child' from the UN at all (But that is a whole other thread lol). so in effect we can be kicked off the bus or out a cafe etc for BF. so i am trying to just minimise the public feeding which sucks.
anyway, i best be off as DH is waiting for his turn!
hope you're all well!
HI ladies,
just popping in to say hi!
and congrats I can see to HPL and Cassius! yay!
How are you doing Cherished - I hope your knee is now well healed.
Well, our DD2 was born 11 days ago.
So DD1 is now a big sister. Not sure about this.... She has been throwing quite a few tantrums, not taking very well to DD2. How have your toddlers all been going? is it the age or the sibling or both do you think?
Cass - how did DD1 cope with the arrival of Marta?
Hi Milly!!!
I have been following all you June ladies and was very excited and happy to see you had your bubs.wanted so many times to post in there but just couldn't.... From my experience at work I would say the tantrums are a combination of age and feeling a little threatened by the new bubba, I suggest to my mums to try and include the older sibling in a few routines like bath time and nappy time, some say it work some say it just gets better or easier in time.... I guess in 4 mths I can see if my theory works lol
Congrats again on bubs xxx
Hey gals!
Milly: congratulations on the arrival of your newest little girl! :loveshower:
I am with HPL, a bit of the age and the realisation that there is a new little person there to stay.
For us, I believe it might of been a bit easier with DD1 as she had just turned 3 and was able to talk and her comprehension during the pregnancy of the 'baby' developed at an amazing rate. also, many of our friends in mothers group had just had little babies so she saw many of her buddies as big brothers and sisters so wanted to be just like them. TBH i am a bit worried about DD2 and how she will cope when DD3 is born....wish us luck i think we'll need it
HPL: i think it is hilarious that we are belly buddies again lol!
Cherished: I dont get a chance to see you around the boards often (except Meow's awesome GAPS thread!), hope you are travelling well. How is DS going? They are all growing and changing so much right now, i look at DD2 and can't believe the changes from week to week lately.
