MP, the tinea sounds gross! I hope it clears up soon xx. Out of interest (to feed my paranoia lol) do you ever shower at the gym or swimming pools? I hold a grudge against public showers and changing rooms with wet floors since I got planter warts on my feet after going to the army swimming pool.

I am certainly a lot more 'open' down south as well. I also have what may be a vaginal wall prolapse, one side just sort of hangs limply instead of sitting up where it should and just after A was born it was hanging over the entrance way but it got a bit better after a few months.

Andie, I grew up not knowing my father and I honestly think it is better to have no contact rather than sporadic contact. But then I think it is a lot different for boys to grow up without a father. I hope your new DP fills the role for them.

Which reminds me, Cass, did you ever FB your brothers? Or contact your father? Is he on FB too?

W went back to kindy yesterday and there was a trip on to the climbing wall that we didn't know about. I had A and no pram so I couldn't go. Poor W was really upset when I left because he had to walk with another mum that he didn't know, but I rang in 5 minutes later and they partnered him up with a teacher instead and then he was happy enough. Apparently he did quite well, not to the top of the wall but then he isn't the sort of kid that would go that high.

The good BIL is here and W is just so excited to see him! Poor guy can't get a word in because W won't stop talking to him lol.

Arte - Yep thats exactly what I have. One of the inner walls has slightly collapsed. I first noticed it when a couple of weeks after E's birth I felt like there was something down there when I walked. Got the mirror out to have a look......eek just about died!

Trill - You got off lightly with the muscle seperation, 4 kids as well, amazing, well done lol!

Cass - Dont worry my tummy muscles are non existant too.

arte: yeah in fact one of my brothers just contacted me on FB the other day :o. just asked to be my friend, nothing else so far...so strange! mum let the cat out of the bag and they found out the other month so i guess...

i went to about 10 sessions of physio after L's birth to work on the pelvic floor but now it seems all good. dh reckons it's a little roomier down there than before the kids but still likes it ;)

went to look for a new bed this morning and far out! why do i always seem to have expensive taste? it really ****s me

Cass, I am sure I am getting psychic lately! Good old FB, the non-committal way to keep in touch. He probably wanted to find out what he could from your profile, see your pics etc but avoid the awkwardness of talking to someone he hasn't met. I would do the same lol Back in my day there was no FB so I wrote my father a letter with a brief bio and just said that any further contact was up to him but I would appreciate a family medical history (full of cancer and diabetes as it turns out!).

Isa, my vag did fix itself a bit after a few months, like I couldn't feel it hanging out, but already I am noticing it again and I am only 17 weeks - by the end of this pregnancy the whole thing is going to be falling out!

Ginger, I haven't been brave enough to ask DH how the accommodations are post children! I know that it must be a lot sloppier but then I guess if he wants it then he has to take what is available lol

MP- I too have never heard of all over body Tinea. That sounds dreadful.

Well if you look up ringworm that is basically the all over tinea though I a, wondering if it is something even more sinister as I am dying of it h and feeling run down... And have swollen patches and it is spreading like crazy... Back to dr tomorrow I think... It's unbearable

Eta arte - I generally done shower at gym or pool I cone home... Dr actually says that can be worse as you are damp... My gym is super clean... But I know what you mean. He thinks thus is more general bad luck or low immunity and normal fungi out of control...

:hug: MP, sounds awful, I get the occasional funky fungal spots (I think they ride home on Mr ADF and lurk in my shower, so I pretty much have to use chemical cleaners in there even though I'm trying to avoid the household chems), pretty unbearable. Good idea to get a second opinion though. If you're treating for fungal make sure you use an antibacterial at the same time because they can turn bacterial pretty quickly.

MP that sounds really bad. I'd be going back too and seeing if there is anything else they can give you to treat it :hug:

LOL Arte, You could imagine a meet - all of us not game to look each other in the eye. Seriously though, at least we can talk about it. I'd never be able to talk about it with anyone IRL. Except for DH of course. And possibly MIL - afterall she did tell me about her prolapse.

MD maybe you can just set up a decontamination area for him to use when he gets home LOL.

Well L coped OK with being back at school today. He was pretty knackered by the time we got home tonight from footy/netball training though but it is the most he's done since Saturday so it's no wonder he was tired. Oh and I get a footy bus trip next weekend! Cobar have been able to field a c Grade team this year so that means the C Grade netball team has to travel to Cobar for the first time ever. But Cobar is 5 hours from here so it is a massive day out. DH is working so I've arranged for the kids to sleep at the IL's on friday night because I have to leave at 6am to get the bus at 6.30. It should be a fun trip though so I'm lookin forward to it.

morning lovely ladies. On my way to work. Went in yst. Did beta than i thought i wld wit my back. Tho i ended up pacing the room during our team meet. Told the boss 1st up then told the team during the meeting.
I got a phone call yst. A's app't that was th closest at 12wk's away is now only 6wk's away. Its better than nothing :)
Sitting on the train tryin to work out if i really am hungry or just naucious. Till i work it out i'm munching on some all natural lolly's i have stashed for am energy fix hehe
Soz if this sounds bad, all the talk bout the prolapse have me a good giggle. Not because its suffered from, but the way it was thrown out there. Good on you girls for bein so open about it

Trill, I hope I never ever have a conversation about prolapse with my MIL! It isn't an issue I would talk about with anyone in real life, although I think the midwife might notice if half my fanny falls out when I have this next baby lol

Andie, 1st tri sucks. I hate the never knowing if you will feel better if you eat or if it will just make you feel worse xx

MP, hope you got a Dr appointment, that sounds terrible! And very opportunistic - hope you take the time off between jobs and relax!

DH and BIL shot a 12 point deer yesterday. I suggested they take W out to a paddock for half an hour rabbit shooting before BIL goes today and it evolved into another deer hunting trip lol. W was so excited! He will be yapping about this for ages.
(If you are feeling bad for the deer, believe me that a quick bullet is far better for them than falling victim to the 1080 poison drops that they use to control the numbers)

just need to have a little whinge about something, it's really stupid but i just have to express it to someone if that's ok?
my brother's wife has been really negative about kids the whole time we've known her. she always rolls her eyes at my boys etc. a few months ago i asked them if they would like J's cot as he has moved into a big bed and i thought they might to keep it at their house for when they have kids (they live in a huge mcmansion with 4 empty bedrooms) - she took it really offensively and turned her nose up and carried on like a 16yo saying 'ummm no thanks!' and laughing at it.....i was pretty upset. they have just had a new pool put in at their house (dh actually went around and did all the electrics there for it, free of charge) and my dad said 'oh we'll have to bring the boys around for a swim one time' to her and her reply was 'there's no kids allowed in my swimming pool' wtf?
just after xmas i had a dream that she was pg- when i told her about it she scoffed and said 'keep dreaming'
anyway, so then yesterday my dad rings me to tell me sil is pg. don't get me wrong, i'm thrilled for them and really excited to be an aunty......so i rang my bro to congratulate him and find out details etc. and he tells me what hospital they are going to and that they just randomly picked an ob. i can't help but feel really hurt that they didn't ring me and ask me about my ob. i mean, they know we used her twice. they came into the hospital to visit me both times and they know how happy we were with our ob, so why didn't they ask for our recommendation? am i being stupid?
ps. i'm so hoping they have a girl so i have someone to buy oobi dresses for :)

Hmm i dont have any answers - her reactions sound odd... but maybe there is more to it ( maybe she thought she couldnt have kids, or it was some sort ofdefensive bahaviour). Also, in terms of asking your advice - if I am honest I think you cant really be offended there - it is s shame, and i know you would like to share your recommendations etc but maybe she sees this as a private thing - ot her choice and she wants to own that more. i think sometimes being involved in something like BB where all this stuff is so open and out there can cloud our judgement around how some other people choose to manage this stuff (privacy etc). I have been in a similar situation - be prepared to feel as though you want to be more involved than she lets you...
Hope that came out right. i know how you feel, but if i am honest i think you need to let it go and just enjoy what involvement you do have.

I've had a few close friends and family fall pregnant and i thought they 'might' ask me about.....something?! But nope, nothing. But whatever, i didn't ask anyone for their advice either. :lol: She's probably just feeling inadequate because you're an awesome mum! ;)
I wondered the same as MP, maybe they were trying but she couldn't fall pregnant, hence the defensive nastiness? Or she could be like my closest friend who openly was horrified by children, she kind of cringed and got all awkward around them. It was almost embarrassing to watch and i hated the kids being treated like they had a disease. She NEVER wanted children, they would interfere with her life too much. :rolleyes: Now all of a sudden, all she can think about and talk about is having a baby. :o I sometimes think fear makes people carry on like they don't like children. OR they make one bold statement and then aren't big enough to say maybe they changed their mind. :dunno: But clearly it's not your problem. :hug:

Nah. I've never really been close to any of my brothers girlfriends. Maybe if it was my sister. But not my bro's partner. I'd never think of asking DH's brothers wife.....

went back to dr today as the rash is so muich worse. now on cortisone - it def isnt fungal/ringworm/tinea.. prob some severe case of excema or dermatitis he thinks. hoping this will get it under control and then i will go to specialist. my mum has hyper sensitive skin - so it could be developing w me i guess (she developed it in her 30's) - noooooo i cant never wear perfume again....
