Well Miss E is just growing up way to fast! I want my baby back! She is learning so many new words her favourite at the moment is 'onoooooooooooooo' which she tells me everytime i tell her to do something or stop doing something. It's quite cute, can't help bub giggle. She is getting the hang of her brothers and sister name too. And quite a few other words.
She pretty much eats by herself now, unless it's breaky or yogurt - still hasn't got the whole concept of liquids on spoons LOL. She has just stopped having Booby juice :-) Atm her molars are giving her grief - there are three that are just poking out of the skin :-(

Hello everyone, I lost this thread and thought I would go on a hunt (and boy it was a great treasure hunt) to find it.
Just a quick message to say happy 18months to our bubbas as they mark the occasion over the past week and next few weeks! DD will be 18mths old tomorrow and is doing so well... she is still my polly pocket as she is petite - wearing 00 bottoms, mostly 0 tops and weighed 9.1kg about 2 weeks ago so not really expecting a great change at her 18mth check up.
She is talking non-stop and just a ball of wonder at the moment.
I met Misty whilst I was in Canberra visiting my sister and whilst the circumstances under which we met were not ideal (memorial for Lulu) it was nice to meet another August 09 mumma and her DS (who is a very active young man LOL).
Hope you and your bubbas are all well and I am glad to have found you all again!

Yes Happy 18 months to all our lovely bubbas, though not so much bubbas anymore :lol: Moo is turning the big 1-8 on Friday, has a MCHN appt same day so we'll find out how much he's grown. He's been in size 2 for a little while though - was 10.6kg at 12 months. He is full on, is non stop lately!
Glad you met Misty although not under the best circumstances it would've been nice to put a face to the name. I met Trish at the Melbourne Memorial, and her gorgeous kiddies.

Oh crap. completely forgot about the 18mth shots! Another thing on my to do list. I don't even know where his bluebook is anymore, guess I should find it.....

Hi everyone, long time no see! I keep meaning to dig out this thread again to find out how everyone is traveling LOL! Alana has already had her 18 month needle, she had it at 16 months with her 12 month injections (we were running late!). I'm glad we have no more needles until she turns 4 now!

Alana is going great, she's such a happy little lady. She's quite the chatter box and is putting lots of words together, so much more than her brothers did at her age! The other day she said to DS1, "Joel, look at that, it's raining" when it was raining outside! She freaks me out with what she comes out with sometimes :). She loves doing everything her brothers do, she doesn't realise she's much smaller than them LOL!

Hi ladies, was nice to see this thread pop up on my list again today.
18 months this month.....FAR OUT! Our little lochie is most definitely a tiny toddler now. It's amazing how much he can do now, and say....and the tantrums.....oh the tantrums - toddlerhood is in full swing here that's for sure! He has such a strong personality, but such great value, he cracks us up!
Lochie is also about to become a big brother! I'm due to give birth in 3 weeks now!!!! Another baby to join the family. We don't know what we will be welcoming yet, a boy or a girl? And we are so very excited about it.
Well, happy 18 months to our babies. I'll pop in soon once bubs is born. :)

There seems to be a bit of a baby rush around at the moment. Some friends at work and a couple of the ladies from my DS's babybuddies are expecting again. In a way kind of wish we would have another baby..... But know deep down that 2 is our limit and just need to stop being clucky!
AFU - Immi is doing really well. She started Junior Toddlers at daycare this year and is such an outgoing, confident little girl. Still big for her age, wears mostly Size 3 :o but is very active so not too worried. She finally has enough hair to put up in pigtails. She looks so cute and grown up. Only in the last few weeks have moved her over to cow's milk. Each time before that when we introduced milk she had the worst nappies and was really distressed - not sure if the two were connected :dunno:
Thanks for the reminder about the vaccinations. Might try to organise that for my day off.

It is so great to 'catch up' with everyones toddlers again! I cann't believe how much time has passed and how much they have all grown up. Bazza is a real little boofhead! He is a big boy, and he has no problem bullying his older brother and sister (or anyone else who happens to be around).
The funny co-incidence is Mad4e is once again in my Bellybuddies thread!

I'll fill you in, DD2 is now walking, running, jumping, playing, rides a bike, climbs on everything, can swim (with floaties) without help, she is speaking more and more, can make full sentences and i generally understand everything that she says, she loves playing with babies and putting them to sleep its just the cutest to watch, she is toilet training now, on her own accord. xoxox

my son was born 11th august 2009. he is growing up so quickly.cant believe he will be 2 soon. im sure the terrible twos have started but hahha

I can't believe all our babies will be two soon! Makes me want to cry!
DD2 is just growing so so much its crazy, she's talking in full sentences can tell me what she wants and ask questions its incredible. she's so sweet and caring as well, she will ask her sister if shes okay if shes crying, and plays with her dolls and gives them cuddles and kisses, and watching her breastfeed her babies is the cutest! (I won't mention that she throws them on the floor if she finds something better to do LOL) It's just amazing to watch her grow and learn. She loves to dress up - she goes into her sisters draws and gets all dressed up in her sisters clothes then will come out and tell me that the clothes are hers and she is pretty.
I can't believe how quickly the time has came! It seems only a while ago that we were all preparing for the impending births.

my son doesnt say much yet so still lost of tantrums. but dommy loves riding his bikes and mummy reading him books.he tries to say everything but still baby talk at the moment. he is very caring and loving.love watching him grow and learn.

How is everyone going in the preparations for our August 2009 babies turning 3?
Miss C amazes both myself and DP... there will be excessive bragging coming up LOL. She is speaking so well (too well sometimes - it doesn't feel nice being corrected by an almost 3 year old!), she is writing well and can write some letters unassisted. She can count to 20 and has an amazing memory.
We are planning a fairy party for her 3rd birthday as her 1st and 2nd birthdays were a bit crap... a week before her first birthday, my aunt had an aneurysm burst so my aunt was in ICU, she is fine now but I cancelled the 1st birthday party - then one the day before the 2nd birthday party I had a gastro bug so in the interest of public health I cancelled... hoping that 3rd time is a charm.
Hope you are all well... wondering who has added to their family... I am turning 30 in September and we will TTC #2 after that.

Hey TK :D Glad to hear C is doing so well, she sounds like a very clever little girl! I hope she enjoys her fairy party! Good luck TTC, how exciting.
Moo is turning into a little boy right before my eyes, was thinking this week that he really isn't a toddler anymore *sob* He wasn't a huge talker until a few months ago but I'm happy to say that he's really taken off in that department! It has certainly made life a lot easier :D He knows all his letters as well as lots of numbers, he's such a clever cookie. He knows the names of all kinds of trucks and construction vehicles - trucks are his passion! Well that and trains! We're taking him to a miniature railway for his birthday which he is going to love.
We welcomed his little brother in December last year, our gorgeous bub is coming up to 8 months old. Moo was none too pleased when he realised Buster was here to stay and it was quite stressful there for awhile. I'm pleased to say life has settled down in recent months thankfully!

Sebastian is a BIG boofhead now. He weighs more then his nearly 5 yr old big brother and is as solid as they come. He has a temperment to match! He is a stubborn little boy who likes to be in charge (a bit like his mum I am told ;) ). We can only count to five, and wouldn't recognise a letter if it bit him on the bum; but he is very social and active and loves to do craft and anything slightly messy. He loves to play with his older siblings, and loves to tell everyone he is a big boy now (we have just finished potty training recently and he wears 'big boy' undies).
We have also added Chantelle to the family, she is 9.5mths old, and Sebastian is fiercely protective of her. She is 'MY baby" he tells everyone, and won't let up until they acknolwedge that fact. But he will 'share' her with me. :lol: They play together, although Sebastian is way too rough, he doesn't understand how to be gentle, and they already fight over toys. It is cute at the moment, although I am sure it will become less so in a few more months.
We haven't ruled out adding #5 to our brood, and have been discussing it positively (which is great seeing as I am as clucky as hell ;) ).

It still amazes me that they are all turning THREE! I would like to know where the timne has gone...
w.heezy is just incredible. she amazes me every day about how smart and incredible she is. She plays well with her older sister, although in her older's sisters words she can be 'annoying'. She's stubborn - smart, too grown up, she talks as well as her sister.
and I doubt she would let another baby in the house (not that that is a possiblity lol) I have held various babies from friends and she was very adamet that i "put them back" and they are 'NOT' allowed home, Which is fine by me, at the moment ;-D
