Hey all,
I've been a bit MIA as well, sorry!
Had to have a little laugh and the things these kidlets are putting in their mouths - Isabel is obsessed with my mum's cat, who seems to love babies and will flop on her side right in front of Isabel... well that swishy cat tail is too much to resist and has gone into Isabel's mouth a few times!
She's also had a go at my thongs before... I figure the germs are good for her. Or something :D
Kaz - that's great about J sleeping better a while ago! Hang onto that - he can do it, he will do it!
Holly - sounds like you guys and L are going really well! We finally got our tree up yesterday, looks pretty Christmassy in here now! We haven't even started with presents though!
Nai - happy birthday! Your pressie from DD1 sounds just beautiful - must check out FB pics! Sounds like you had a lovely day :D (ok just had a look at the pics - so cute, she is just gorgeous!)
Olive - how was the Christmas party?? We haven't braved Myer in the city yet... might wait til next year.
Pinny - yes, it does seem to be going fast! Strange!! Hope L was good after the Christmas party!
Shell - we would be the same if we lost Miffy! Agh! My friend who gave it to Isabel originally has bought us a backup but I haven't seen her! Must see her...
I have vague memories of the rides and stuff!
Why is everyone else so organised with Christmas presents and we are just NOT?! Aghhhh...
Lilima congrats on the new nephew! I'm sure he is gorgeous - enjoy the newborn snuggles!
It sounds like I am lucky - Isabel is still quite cuddly, she will sit on my lap after a feed or whatever and often snuggle right into my chest and hold on tight. Its lovely :D
I'm also lucky that she is forgiving... we are trying at the moment to give her a course of antibiotics because apparently her eczema is infected again (I say apparently because 4 GPs couldn't really agree... :wall: ) and she hates it. Screams like we are shoving pins into her. Spits it all out everywhere...
But then 5 mins later she's over it, thank goodness. Anyone got any tips for me??? How can I get them into her?
-
Olive- about the ice cream, I found Lewis sucking on one of Abbey's old bandaids!!! Lucky Abbey uses them for the smallest of injuries, so they wouldn't be that gross!!
OP- Hope Isabels eczema improves poor bubba! Must be so hard, No real hints but maybe just try little bits at a time?
-
OP - my only thought is to crush up the ABs into food - or mix it up with food? Can you make it into a game?
Olive - LOL at the icecream..
AFU - two teeth, - ouch baby teeth are sharp!! rescheduled swimming today due to unsettled baby this mornging and now I have a terror on my hands - he's cat hunting as I type... Better go rescue the cat..hmmm.. maybe I'll leave her for a bit - she's asking for trouble, laying on the lounge room floor, stretched out..she wants 'better' food. spoilt little pooper.
Finished writing the main story of my book - now I just have to weave a couple of subplots through it, and check the grammar and spelling.
-
OMG Holly...just saw your ticker...counting down to Chrissy...I haven't even started my shopping...suddenly feeling very stressed!
Olive - LOL about the icecream!
OP - Can you disolve them in water? We disolve A's losec for reflux and use a suringe (spelling...that doesn't look right???) ...she sucks it out on her own now. Good luck..medicine and bub's is a mission!
Malyna - Yay on finishing part of your book...great sense of achievement :)
A still taking ages to go down at night..crawling around the cot...just keep putting her down and eventually she passes out...slept 12 hours last night??? Has cut both top teeth now and another top on it's way. Have had a weird day today...did a bungy off the bed with me grabbing the back of her top..still conected with bedside table and has a lump..no blood but alot of tears...won't bore you with the rest...but looking forward to DH getting home and the day finishing..I am so tired...and so tired of feeling sick...and feeling so guilty for strapping A in her pram and putting her in front of the tv so I can spend ten mins on the lounge feeling Bub 2 bouncing around...I'm sure it won't damage her..too much ???
-
Emily loves thongs too! I'm sick of chasing stuff out of her mouth.
Ellie- don't feel guilty, we all need 10mins break. Or we will have a break down! I tell Ash to entertain her for awhile so I can have a cup of tea. Em crawls around the cot too but is happy doing it so luckily I can leave her and she'll eventually put herself to sleep.
Malyna- Thats great about the book! Woohoo, celebration time. Good on you for achieving it.
OP- its terrible with ABs, Ash loves medicine so she is easy as, but Emily gags and sometimes vomits. There was a thread awhile back somewhere on giving them think it was recommended squirt in the cheek or gums or something.
Nai- I saw the pics, so beautiful, I loved her dress. Best birthday present I bet!
4 and a bit weeks til I am back to work. First pay I'm buying a bloody Dyson, not that exciting but so sick of my sh*tbox vacuum, cuts out after like 15mins cause its overheated.
-
Hi all,
Poor A Ellie. I hope she is alright. E too has cut her first two top teeth, and I think two more are on the way.
OP I hope her eczema heals. It must be terrible.
Took J to the Wiggles concert today, and left E with my cousin. She was really good, but while my cousin was trying to change her nappy she squirmed everywhere and got poo all over my cousin, herself nad the floor!!!
J got quite sick while we were there. Started complaining of a sore throat, then got really hot, and started shaking. he fell asleep in my arms walking back to the tram stop, then slept all the way back to my cousins. Got him straight in to the doctors due to the fact that he has ongoing ear problems, and the threw up on the floor in the doctors office (as well as himself and me!)
he has a bad throat infection, and is waking up screaming, as he seems to be having nightmares because of it. I am going to put him in with me tonight, and hope like Hell the Miss E doesn't wake as well, as DH is on night shift.
-
Just had to share a quick woo hoo as they are few and far between at the moment...gave A an early dinner then let her crawl around and play with DH and didn't bath her till 7.30pm...then bottle...cuddle and fell asleep as I was putting her in the cot...soooooo thankful for an easier night tonight!!!
-
:hooray: Ellie! So glad you've had a stress free night last night. Hope it repeats itself tonight.
Lilima - oh poor J. I hope he's feeling better soon.
Its funny how many of the babies like thongs. Who would have thought?
AFU - J went to the CFHN today. He's put on 30 grams in the past month :o I'm not particularly stressed about it but she wants to see us in another month to make sure he doesn't start losing weight. Pushing rice cereal as something to add to his food. I really don't think he'd eat it but I couldn't be bothered arguing the point. I was like, whatever. At least there was no talk of a physio this time. He is moving around a lot more (or trying to at least). And there is a little tooth moving up in the gums - so Ali your sleep theory could be right! (I was initially thinking that didn't apply to J cause he didn't seem to be doing too much with teeth). His sleep has been all over the place lately too - anywhere from 3hourly feeding to 6 or even 7 hourly and on thursday night last week he went 8 hours!!
-
So upset this morning  DD fell off my bed onto the wooden floors!
I bought her in at 6am and fed her then put her next to me on the wall side (the bed was pushed up right to the floor and I have pillows along there as well.
I fed her and must have fallen asleep and then must have been about 5min later I heard a massive thud :( She had crawled off the end of the bed.
So careless of me. DP isnt impressed with me at all and is worried she'll have brain damage.
She seems fine and has been playing, laughing and ate all her brekkie. I just feel terrible
-
Oh Ali:hug: Don't be too hard on yourself, accidents happen and I'm sorry to say this but I think it may be the first of many.
I'm sure she will be fine, no brain damage!!!!Maybe just look out for concussion cos those symptoms can appear hours later.
-
My DH is a paramedic and goes out to many people that call him for that exact reason. Babies are very resilient. If in doubt take her to the hossy or the doctors.
xxx
-
Meg - must have been the day for it! We went to Wiggles as well and on the way back to the train Miss J spewed all over herself and all through the pram - it was awful! The Wiggles were great though and the girls loved the concert.
Shell - I'm back at work in about 6 weeks and I'm freaking out too. You won't know yourself with the Dyson. It rocks!
Ellie - yay on the easier night. I hope it continues!
Kaz - If J is moving around a lot more and teething he probably is burning more energy. If he is drinking milk and still doing lots of wet/dirty nappies I wouldn't be too concerned. BF babies do have a tendancy to plateau with their weight. I remember DD1 did that at about 9 months.
Ali - Don't beat yourself up. I'm sure she will be fine. I am pretty certain there is barely a baby out there that hasn't fallen off a bed. FWIW DD1 fell off our bed onto floorboards a couple of times, not to mention the top of the slide at the playground - and she is fine. Kids are pretty resilient.
-
Thanks girls. You have made me feel a bit better. I had a good cry to DP.
What are the signs of concussion that I should look out for later???
-
Ali...I have to admit...L fell off my bed and onto the floorboards only last week :( It was in the morning about 7am and he had given me a horror night of restlessness and grizzling and I was fed up. So he was whinging next to me in bed and kicking me and I just grabbed him and put him right at the other side where the bed rail is. When I did this he absolutely cracked it and was carrying on so I just rolled over and ignored it - well both of us fell asleep!!! The next thing I know I wake up to this awful thud and then a scream/cry I've never heard before :( When he was carrying on he must have scooted down the bed and then fallen asleep close to the edge of the bed, and then rolled off in his sleep! I was so horrified and so upset and still am! He got such a shock because he was sleeping peacefully one minute and then on the floor the next. Okay, well maybe it was worse for me than for him coz he got over it quickly and has been fine since!
 I just thought I'd share my story that I was too ashamed to mention previously. These things happen and we are not bad mums, these bubs move quick! I am sure DD will be fine, maybe just a bump on the head :) xox
-
Thank Holly or sharing that  it is an awful feeling. I am glad L is alright and hopefully e will be as well. its hard being a mum sometimes
-
FWIW - Alex has fallen off the lounge twice.
:hugs:
we r being referred 2 sleep clinic in 8 weeks. loosing the plot big time here...dh is virtually an insomniac so i cant ask him to care for A - have told MCHN that i'm not coping and of course they go running in opposite direction - so reminds me of my sis who is a MHCN nurse - most unsympathetic pple out there...so am left relying on the only psn i trust which is me...
sorry am really tired
-
fruit it!! stop talking you lot, i cant keep up! and of course ive just had a beer and yes its gone to my head i doubt i'll be able to concentrate long enought to post!!
hehehehe but man im clucky ;)
-
Ali, how has she been today?? Hope you're not still beating yourself up over it
Malyna  so sorry you're having a hard time. I hope the sleep clinic does wonders for you guys. Shame that you have to wait 8 weeks. Are you able to see another mchn?? Mine have generally been helpful, sometimes a bit out of touch... A bit hit and miss really, although there are some good ones I'm sure.
Olive lol at the beer and cluckiness! Ah no cluckiness here anymore, thank goodness, because it's going to be a while!
AFM, L is asleep! Woohoo. He ate all of his dinner (tomato pasta with grated carrot and zucchini) - absolutely loved it and was lunging at the fork, which he never does! He missed out on his late afternoon nap however, so I hope he doesn't mistake this sleep as his nap and wake up soon  He's been doing that lately...skipping his late arvo nap and thinking bedtime is just a nap and waking around 8pm ready to party again  Not sure how to handle this...should I be cutting out his third and last day nap and rearranging the earlier two naps? Is this what he is trying to do?? But then I don't want him to keep thinking bedtime is just another nap! Babies are so confusing!
Better cherish this quiet time nonetheless and do something productive...like a load of washing!
-
Malyna- I wish I could offer more than just  Please try look after yourself with all this going on. You can ask for transfer to another mchn, maybe ask around sus out where supportive ones are, you could really help with a good one on yr side.
Ali- Don't feel bad, you wouldn't believe how often it happens. I'm glad she is ok. They have so many bumps and bruises along the way. Even now Ash at 3 fell off my bed and smacked her head into the corner of the bedside table, had black eye and all.
Holly- its hard with there naps, Em generally has 2 now but sometimes 3 depending on when she wakes from second.
Kaz- I wouldn't stress too much if hes started moving around heaps he is prolly burning off everything he eats. Maybe offer smaller meals more regularly or something?
Ellie- woohoo, you get a repeat tonight?
Emily is so clingy these days, so hard to get anything done and now even I struggle to put her in the car or pram cause she is holding my clothes so tightly and won't let go!
-
OMG I haven't posted in sooooooo long!!!! I'm not even subscribed!!
How is everyone doing??
We are going ok, except for the sleep issues but that's normal for us  DD just got her 2 top teeth so it's been even worse. She is cruising round all the furniture and having a great time. She's just decided it's fun to run away from me, lol. If she's doing something I don't want her to and I say 'no' she quickly crawls off to try and escape me before I get her, haha. And then laughs hysterically when I catch her. She is getting very cheeky. She's really into her food but still hasn't dropped any breastfeeds. My chubby little girl! And she's getting very clever. Only says mum and dad still but understands so much. If I say 'where's Dolly?' she will crawl and find Dolly and bring her back, lol.
Can't wait for our first christmas!!
-
Ali - you're not a bad mum darl. I would have felt terrible too but it sounds like it's the first of many falls and knocks. I hope she's ok. I think trying to identify concussion in a baby would be hard - I think sleepiness, feeling unwell, balance problems, pupil changes and being disoriented are things to look for but some of that is actually normal and encouraged in babies!! If you're worried just take her into A&E and get her checked over by someone.
Malyna - I have been wondering how you've been going lately. I'm sorry you're still having sleep problems and the MCHM is no help. It's hard when you're that tired finding the energy to go back and demand better service. Who else can you try? Can you call the sleep school every day or so to 'debrief' what's going on? They may be able to prioritise you as a more urgent case? I dunno darl. I hope things look up soon. Let me know if there's anything I can do or you want to chat.
Shell - Em must be going through seperation stuff atm. Enjoy those cuddles though!
Heaven - Oh smart girl!! I had a giggle at the image of her 'running' away from you.
Olive - So did you jump DH last night ;)
Holly - DS does similar with his sleep some days. He'll either have 2 or 3 sleeps but it's totally random and doesn't seem related to the amount of sleep he's already had as to whether he'll go down for the third one. I think he's in the process of dropping it which will be good but the process itself is a bit painful.
AFM - Wed night we had an awesome night - J slept 10 hours straight without a wake up :o and :hooray: Of course I didn't get that much sleep cause I was waiting for him to wake :( But last night he made up for it with an absolute shocker!! Its starting to do my head in that his sleep is so unpredictable. I just need to hold onto the fact that he has slept 10hours once so it might happen again lol!!!
ETA - I just want to say that I think you guys ROCK!! it's such an awesome bunch of mummies in here and I'd be lost without you guys. There are MAJOR dramas in my mums group IRL and it's really made me realise how great this group is. None of that BS goes on in here :)
-
hey girls
just a quick drop in to say a hello to you beautiful mummas
life is chaos here at the moment but we are getting there - just@@!!!
will pop back in for personals when i have 2 secs again!
take care girls and stay sane!!
mwah
-
Hi ladies,
Quick post while DD is sort of sleeping!
Ali, you poor thing!! You must feel horrible. I've done something bad too... not a rolling out of bed thing (I actually think mine is worse) so I know how the self-flagellation goes. Try to go easy on yourself hun
Kaz - yahoo on the 10hrs! Not yahoo on the you not sleeping 10hrs! He can do it, he can do it!
Heaven - G sounds just gorgeous. Think you've got a bright spark there - you'll be a busy mummy over the next few years!! I'm excited about our first Christmas too!
Shell - Isabel does the same thing when I try to put her in the pram or car seat. Grabs onto my clothes and also goes all rigid and stiff. Sigh!
Holly, Isabel is having sleep issues too... see below... but she also does sometimes go to sleep round 7pm (I say "round", it can be anytime between 7 and 8) and then wakes up 40mins later going "woo party!"
Malyna - you poor thing, sounds like you are having a hard time. Can you get into the clinic any earlier? My friend got a special request from her GP and she said she was feeling depressed and like she wasn't coping and they fitted her in within a week or two I believe. Hang in there hun.
Well we are really struggling with sleep. Don't know if it is because Isabel has started crawling ( and :wall: at the same time) and its a developmental milestone thing but her sleeps have all gone haywire.
Day sleeps have no pattern anymore, for the time she goes down or the duration. Going to bed at night time is shocking - we try and put her down at 7pm, she screams like she is being tortured. We try rocking, feeding, everything that used to work, nothing.
Last night we ended up getting her up (we were at my parents, she's slept in the portacot in mum and dad's room before), keeping her awake until about 9pm at which time we drove home, put her in her cot and she just sighed and went to sleep with no noise at all!
What is going on???
-
OP- what time does she get up from her last day sleep? Just thinking of ideas why, maybe its too late for her now so she doesn't want to sleep at 7? I hope it all sorts itself out, its like a vicious circle sometimes, bad day sleeps can lead to bad night... How long is she usually awake for between sleeps?
Det- hope you find those 2 seconds for yourself! With school holidays coming up you'll be even busier!
Kaz- you're right its so great to have everyone in here. I think sometimes the fact that being on the internet makes people more honest and open about experiences etc whereas IRL I find mums can be a bit more competitive and it seems everyones baby is sleeping thru that sorta thing. Its great to come on here and know what my kids are doing is normal and see how different they all really are.
Heaven- I love their cheeky little grins, Em knows now foxtel box is off limits but always goes for it, stops and looks at me before she touches it then smiles, cheeky girl. Sounds like G will be running on her own soon.
-
Got to keep this one a brief, selfish post as need to get to bed.
E is now quie sick with the ame thing J had. Her temp got to 40 today, so straight to the doctors as she was having rigors. Keeping up the panadol and nurophen for the rest of today so that she doesn't spike up again, and we will just have to see how she goes overnight. Otherwise I will put her in with me if I think I needto keep a closer eye on her.
J is still not that well either. His behaviour has got back to really bad, like when he had scarlet fever - and he was jsut starting to be so good and well behaved.
Spent the day with my sister. she has been put on the waitlist for a MBU as she is just not coping. I believe there is a fine line between PND and sleep deprivation, and her bub is a shocker in the sleep dept.
Oh - I can hear E now, and she has only been asleep ann hour. Poor little petal.
-
-
Hehe - Boo to you too!
I've been meaning to get back on here and say what a little monkey Miss J is - she is just NOT sleeping! Plus she has started with this seperation anxiety and it is driving me crazy. She won't let me alone - she has to be ON me all the time. She has just got tooth #7 and I think #8 is on the way. She can't crawl but is desperate to walk. She wants me to hold her hands and walk her around all the time. Sorry - needed to vent in the 5 minutes that she is happy to sit on DP.
-
Meg- how are the kids now? Temps down? And how is your sister doing? I hope she gets in to the MBU soon.
Nai- Its so frustrating isn't it. Emily follows me everywhere I'm always nearly accidently stomping on her cause she is right there. Wants me to pick her up, gets bored wants to climb off again then cries for me again. I hope things settle down for you, the sleep part especially. Is it for all sleeps, day and night?
We all must be busy in here. How is everyone with xmas preperations, all prepared? Gifts all bought?
-
lilima - How has E been today? That sounds really scary darl. Hope she's alright. You sound like you've got your hands full if J is not well either
Nai - Sounds trying, vent away. 7 teeth?? DS doesn't have any yet. They're so different aren't they?
AFM - DS has been hard work the past few days. Not sleeping much during the day and then taking ages (like hours) to settle in the evenings and then feeding 3-4 hourly. I usually have to feed him a couple of times within the hour to get him down in the evenings. Can't work out if it's teeth, developmental, a wonder week, a separation thing, comfort, hot, the list is endless. I am so sick of hearing him grumble, feels like that's all he's been doing lately. On a bright note, DP went and cut down a tree today and we decorated it tonight. Looks awesome!
ETA - Shell - we're almost there. Most presents bought but not wrapped yet. Also, I am only half way through my Chrissy cards so need to get a move on! Are you all organised?
-
Hi guys,
Meg, oh no! Sounds terrible! How is she today? How are you coping? Big hugs.
Kaz - I sympathise on the taking hours to settle at night. I too sit there going "Teeth? Developmental? Hungry?" We've reached a point where we just have to let her CIO, as much as it breaks my heart. There is nothing wrong with her - she doesn't want anything - she just doesn't want to sleep. Hang in there!
Shell - I reckon I'm about 75% done with presents, purchased, not wrapped though yet! I have to take 4 of them back already though as I've since found out they are things the recipients already have. A bit annoying!
Isabel doesn't follow me yet - she's more of an explorer, so I am following her most of the time! We're trying to teach her what isn't ok to touch (eg wine rack, DVDs and player, cat litter!) so we don't have to move everything. My theory is that other people will have these things in their houses so she needs to learn what's off limits! That's the theory anyway!
As for her sleep, she generally only has two day sleep and the last one is anytime between 1pm and 3pm - but she's always awake by 4.30pm. :dunno:
Nai - sounds pretty full on, you poor thing. They are gorgeous when they want cuddles but not when they just want to be held all the time! 7 teeth! We only have the one so far!!
Not much else news. Had a full on weekend so am exhausted but on the bright side we started telling people we are expecting again. Reactions were funny - some people guessed it straight away when I said something like "we have news" or "guess what?" but other people were really shocked that we'd go for number 2 so soon.
Oh well!
Hope everyone else is going well! I'm going to grab some lunch and do some dishes while DD is asleep...
-
Nai _ I hope Miss J improves for you soon. I saw the pics of your new bike!!
Shell - Yep all done for Christmas, and pressies all wrapped and decorated with J's art work.
Kaz - I hope he improves for you soon.
OP - Yay that you are telling people your news.
ok for us - E is still quite sick. she has croup. So awake "barking" a lot inb the night. She has been totally off her food for the past few days - clamping mouth and crying if you go any where near her with a spoon. Try to let her feed herself, and makes no difference. She just throws the food on the floor and cries some more. She is just mega sooky most of the day, just climbs all over me, so I put her on the floor and she cries to be picked up, pick her up and she cries and climbs all over me again *sigh*
-
Hi girls,
 for all those having a rough trot at the moment.
No personals tonight as I am exhausted. Havent really moved off the couch and have so much to do. Officially finished work but they need me to go in to do some training on Friday for 3 hours for an epi pen and diabetes training course so I better go.
Hopefully catch up on everything later in the week xo
-
Ali- hope you make sure you relax when Ash is, stuff housework and cooking rest up when exhausted.
Meg- somedays I just sit on the floor that way Emily can climb on and off me as she pleases. They always seem to lose their appetites when sick, is she still into breastfeeds, just offer those.
OP- how you been going with the pregnancy? any morning sickness?
Kaz- any improvements on the sleep? who ever knows with these babies what the problems are. I hope you find something that works. Maybe start thread for ideas?
Did the final of my xmas shopping today, woohoo, just to wrap now.
On the plus side Emily has slept thru til 6:30 4 nights out of last 5. Still no teeth tho!
-
I'm shattered too..will try and catch up later...A sick...cutting top teeth and obsessed with walking behind her bumbo seat putting her toys in like it's a shopping trolley...Dh away..one dog on heat...one sick...one recovering from op...and A waking several times a night for a cuddle...have given into co sleeping...just all too hard...but all in all she seems happy enough...counting down to dh holidays...I need to sleep!!!
-
hey girls
finally get a chance to come and visit you!
All going good here- boof is cruising on everything, and has started climbing onto furniture! He is also starting to stand on his own for a few seconds so me thinks that walking is not too far away!!
Also he has cut four top teeth in the past two weeks- including his front teeth, eye tooth and his molar right at the ver back of his mouth!!
Kids finish school tommorow - so let the fun begin!!!
even better DH finishes work on monday for nearly a month- whoot!!!
think we have almost done the xmas shopping so rock on xmas
gonna be a weird one this year and first one with my mum and dad separated, first one without my nan and my other nan is stuck in Cairns as her hubby is in hossy again so she cant come down- i miss them soo much. This will be the first xmas day i will have without my two nan's and without my dad around- but hey it will be my baby's first xmas so that makes up for it!
hugs everyone who has having sleep issues- if it is any help, my twins were absolutely shocking sleepers- got my first full night sleep with them when they were 3 years old! and now they zzz all nite most nites! Boof still doesnt sleep through esp with all these teeth coming through- he usually ends up in our bed around 3ish till morning!
so HANG IN THERE!!!!
outta here girls time to do some jobs around this joint- there is crap everywhere!!!
nite
-
 Lewis slept for 8 hours!!!!! First time ever! There is a light a the end of the tunnel. I can finally say he slept through!!!!! Yay!! One happy mummy! Thank you Santa! My dreams have come true!
-
Oh Pinny that's awesome news darl!! Bet you were doing these ones round your house when you woke up :leap: :leap: :leap: LOL!!!
Hi everyone else! Common theme = not enough sleep!! J has improved somewhat but last night was back to the horrors. He's been asleep now since 8am and we have mum's group this morning!! Always the way......can't be too upset with him as I'm out this afternoon too so he'll be in the pram most of the day and won't sleep so the more now the better later. At least that's the theory ;)
Have a great weekend everyone!
-
Pinny - woot on the sleep!!
Det - good to hear from you - I read the santa thread :omg: you must have been in shock!
Kaz - I hear you on the sleep (or lack of). We have had a bad week and Miss J has been screaming her head off as soon as she is put in her cot. As a consequence she has been sleeping in our bed and nobody has had much sleep :( She now has 7 teeth though - #8 is a line on her gum so it will be here soon too. Hopefully things will settle down when she cuts that. Although she is currently asleep in her cot for the first time in a week!!! I hope it's a good omen :crossfingers:
-
Nai I hear you! We are having day sleeps in the pram...or it's just a scream-a-thon!!!!
-
In the last week or two, I have found that cosleeping just doesn't work for us any more. E is more interested in touching my face or giggling!
In saying that' she has been ok for the last 2 weeks, and if she does wake I generally ignore her as she just chats to herself and goes back to sleep.
Pinny - yay on the 8 houurs.
Det great to hear from you.
Not much happening here. E is still recovering from her sore throat. Her voice is so husky. She is still off her food somewhat though.
Ok - Better get back to this never ending house work
