Freddy goes to bed at 7 - 7.30pm, dream feed at 10-10.30pm, then he was having a small feed at 2.30-3am but last night slept through and woke at 6.30am!!!

I just realised Freddy and Soren were born on the same day! Yay!

Great work Freddy! How nice for you shar :) hopefully Josh isn't too far behind but i'm not holding my breath. His sister slept through at 7 weeks so it's been a bit of a learning curve for us that all kids are different!

Soren had his usual 3.30am feed last night and then decided to wake up early at 6.00am. Gah! I am so sleepy!
He was weighed and measured last week, 6.5kg and 66cms long. He's wearing 00's which is annoying, because he's outgrown a lot of clothes he never wore, lol, I'll just have to have another.
What about your lot?
Oh my goodness what a healthy boy you have! I haven't weighed Josh in a few weeks but I'm guessing 4.5kgs. He's in 000's ATM. He's quite long but definitely not chubby. He's always been a little below the average.
How did Freddy go Shar? Josh had a shocker last night. Kept waking up screaming, arching his back and just generally distressed. He's been irritible today as well :( I wish this reflux thing would go away!

7pm down to bed, 11pm Dream feed, 3.30am awake and wanted a small feed!!:wall:
He had his jabs yesterday and didn't eat as much in the day and was a bit irritable so maybe he just got hungrey?
Oh well, im not shattered or sleep deprived so can't complain, if he starts to do the odd night sleeping through from dream feed then its a bonus at this stage.
Soren was cranky for about 24 hours after his jabs. Needed extra cuddles, his thighs around the puncture swelled up a wee bit and went very red, was heartbreaking.:

I haven't been on here in ages. Hope you are all well!!!
We are doing really well Lukas got his hip result and all is ok YAY, however now we are concerned about his eyes they seem to turn in a fair bit so will be seeing a specialist about that when he is a bit older (6mths). Other than that he is great lots of smiles and baby talk!! He is sleeping from 10:30 to 4ish then until 7-8am so I am getting enough sleep. Big brother is also well and enjoying having someone to play with (if you can call it that).
Would be interested to find out where babys are at weight wise, Lukas was 5.25kg at his 8 week check (1.2kg smaller than my 1st DS was).

GREAT news about Lukas...you must be relieved. Sounds like his weight is right on track. My DS weighs about 5.3kgs now at 11 weeks. My DD was always above the average but my DS has tracked slightly below from birth. I guess they're all just different and it's working out what's normal for them.
We're doing well. Josh's reflux is starting to improve with the meds and other natural therapies. He started sleeping 7-8 hrs overnight at 10 weeks so I'm much happier these days and able to cope better with the ups and downs.
I took Josh to sleep school (day stay) on Mon just to get a professional opinion on how I'm settling him and interpreting his cries. It was a great experience. If anyone's looking for a great day stay PM me and I'll email you the details (Sydney).
OK. Grocery time...hmm...it's become quite the experience with 2 under 2!

It's a bit quiet in here :( Shar glad to hear everything's good on your front. Freddie sounds adorable and such a good boy! Josh is doing well also. The longer nights are a God send...you forget what good sleep feels like! Let's hope it stays that way. Anyway, he's starting to show his little personality more and more...it makes up for the hard weeks in the beginning. He's still weighing a little below average but I'm not worried. My poor nipples are suffering this week with cracks galore. Shooting pain every time I feed...ouch! Anyway, I'm off! Would love to hear from everyone :)

Amy that's a bugger re your nipples ... shooting pain and a crack that takes a long time to heal can apparently possibly be nipple thrush... just a thought!
Little Barney is nearly 12 weeks, at 11.5 weeks he weighed in at 7.2kg so is pretty hefty. He is a lovely lad, very cheerful on the whole. He only cries when he is hungry or tired so is pretty easy to manage. Some battles to get him to sleep in the late arvo and evening but if we persevere, we get there! He goes to bed at about 8pm, and will have typically 1 feed between then and 6 or 7am. Sometimes he has shorter sleeps so will have a feed at say midnight and then 3.30... it's a real bugger as I have started having terrible insomnia after waking for feeds in the past couple of weeks. I'll lay there for hours, sometimes until the next feed grrrr! I try to stay relaxed about it.
I'm enjoying motherhood, I've got a fab mother's group and have made some lovely friends already. I'm working from home (have been since day dot) so that keeps me really busy a couple of weeks a month, the rest of the time I'm socialising and trying to catch up on various chores.
Today is DP's 30th birthday, he's taken the day off and we went for a gorgeous lunch at a flash restaurant a short walk from our place. B was very well behaved. I could really do with a nap now but it's time for a feed. Hope the wine has made it's way through my system...
Will try to post more and catch up with what you're all up to. Amy I know you're a Sheyne Rowley fan, I'm starting to think about her methods for the coming months so I will need to pick your brain.
Bub is doing his little hungry cough, I'm off!

No you're not talking to yourself :-) I can't believe 6 months has been and gone...wow babies grow too quickly!!! I'm enjoying Josh alot more these days. He's been able to go off the reflux meds this month and so far so good. Hope everyone else is enjoying baby :-) xxx

AliB you sound like your loving being a mum and Amyhunz, thats great news that Josh is off his meds.
Freddy is just a gem so calm, contented and happy, so much so we decided on one more and I'm pregnant again with number 4!!!!!
I tried to get the smallest gap possible this time though, tried to get into the same Belly Buddies group but 2011 but no luck that month!
Anyway, great to hear from you both and it will be good to keep contact a little more.

Wow only 10 months apart, that must be exhausting and amazing! Barney was born on 27th Feb so just a day older than your Harley.
This particular thread is pretty much dead unfortunately... this baby buddies group never really took off. But do post on other threads in the forum in topics of interest to you - or maybe the baby buddies group for Sebastian - and I'm sure you'll soon get to know lots of great ladies (and a few gents!)

Harley was 7 months last week and is still gummy! My eldest had 4 teeth by the time he was 8 months!
hi ladies, is there a babies born group for bubbas born the start of feb? Krystal was born feb 8th over due by 9 days, is now 8 months tries to crawl but only goes backwards or round and round and has her 2 bottom teeth.

Hi Shar! How's the pregnancy going? I see you're having another boy...how lovely for Freddy to have a playmate! I still can't believe you're on the brink of having number 4...our babies aren't babies for much longer!
We're going really well. Josh has become so lovely and easy-going. He sleeps and eats well and is crawling around and cruising furniture. He still only has his 2 bottom teeth so we're awaiting the next lot but apart from being a bit grizzly, he seems to do ok with teething. I weaned him at 9mo because I still had cracked/bleeding nipples so it was a little earlier than I would have liked but oh well - I'm happy with 9mo.
So nothing really big to report. Starting to think about about the big first birthday...not that we'll do much! I'm pretty low key with that stuff.
