Prama thats brilliant news, i am so happy for you! Lakshman is so cute looking after his Mummy, MJ is becoming far more sensitive to things and people around her, so loving and caring it is so lovely to see. All that time that you put into your child pays off when they do such lovely things :)
The course is part correspondance and several days that i will have to attend throughout the year, but i can go and be paid by work as i have study day entitlements which is great. I will just have to be come even more organised that i already am... i just hope that it all works out the way i want - just waiting on approval for the funding :)
Prama, Lakshman sounds soooo cute. What a good boy looking after mummy like that.
Jacinta is in a pushing phase. If she wants something and we're standing up, she'll come behind us and push us to where she wants us. If we're sitting, she'll pull us and drag us where she wants us. She's also responding to almost every question like this "Ummm....yeah" or "Ummmm....no" and when she's doing the "ummm" she puts a finger to her lips in the thoughtful pose. It's very cute.
sj - i wish i worked for the govt! that sounds like a great opportunity! how fantastic.
danni - jazz sounds so cute, lakshman grabs our hand takes us to where he wants us to, if he wants to go somewhere or do something

Thanks Guys, she is having a great day! Up really early as DH had to leave at 7am for work and he wanted to see her reaction to her cubby house, which she clearly loves. she was difficult to wake, but when she heard the word presents she was sitting up in a flash!
Dh spent 2 hours putting the house together last night, it was such a bargin, $200 reduced from $500, comes with a solar panel that makes little toys work and is to demonstrate solar power, also recycling bins and a weather vain. so cute :)

Summer is Dora the Explorer obsessed it has become a really bad problem haha no i'm not joking it is the first thing she sais when her eyes open in the morning and the last thing she sais at night she is having major tanty's if she doesn't get to watch it all day every day hmmm never had a child so obsessed with anything before it isn't fun. She doesn't want to do anything but watch Dora

Lakshman is still car, train,truck, plane crazy. he only gets some tv in the evening after day care as we prepare his dinner etc. and some extra on the weekends. but it's cars etc all the time. when we are driving, and he has to have his car pyjamas, and when we go out, he has to bring his little cars along.
the other night, we heard him cry out really loud in his sleep. he was crying away and i got a scare but the he said "my carrrrrr" LOL. he must have had a nightmare that someone took his car. haah
Jesse's right into Wiggles at the moment. He loves Dora too, thanks to Bri, but Wiggles are the fave & the only way he'll go to sleep at the moment. Diving me nuts. The last few nights he's been up til after midnight. Now I take him to bed, shut the door so he can't get out & lay in bed with the Wiggles or Hi 5 on. I'm asleep before him every night.
He's off the boob now, but still isn't 100% ok with it. This morning he woke at about 7, rolled over, pulled one out & laid there with a hand on it & his jaw going as if he was drinking til he went back to sleep. He doesn't need to do that all the time, but he needs to touch them for comfort alot.
3 weeks later he still asks to drink them on occasion, but he's getting there.
Best get these kids out the door.
i'm weaning lakshman now, he doesnt really need it anymore. i only feed him before bed so it's become a comfort thing for him.
