sj - been thinking heaps about you too..
will try to be better..
we're ok. Githanjali has been rolling onto her belly a couple ofweeks now, way quicker than Lakshman. Can't believe she'll be 4 months on Thurs
-
Wow Prama! Thats gone so fast! You're BFP was just over 12 months ago!
Summer is 10 weeks today. She's such a perfect, happy baby :D
Last night she was a bit out of sorts coz we slept at mum & dad's, but she normally sleeps from around 9pm-ish til 5am-ish, then feed then sleep til anywhere from 7 - 8.
Dunno about tonight though... she went down around 6.30/7pm.
I'm ok. I had a bad week last week, but feeling better. I want to get started on ads asap, but they refused to get me in at the docs before Jaz's appointment on the 30th, so I contacted the mental health line, coz they can help me get in earlier.
Looking forward to christmas & having all the family around though :D

Hi Guys,
Sorry to hear about the PND Skye, but great that you are going in for assessment soon, that will help - what is Jaz's appointment for? sorry i have been in my own cloud lately and i am finding it hard to keep up...
Prama - OMG 4 months already! thats flown, sorry i havent been in touch with you, as with everyone on here, i miss our regular updates, seems that we have all moved into a different place with other babies, pregnancies or poor Bron with sickness.
Bron i hope that you are doing OK... hoping that after this round your counts are more stabalised, i am guessing by the lack of sleep that you are still on the steroids? Poor you, i hope that Santa brings you the good news that you are well xx
DH is doing really well now and i am finding it so much easier, but my Family has reacted very poorly to the situation and we have decided to step away from them for the time being as it is not helping and they are not at all supportive of us. It is a delicate situation and my 'wonderful' and supportive non judgemental family have been anything but that and think that interfering and meddling in my relationship is helpful.
I am so stressed by them all, i am not sleeping or putting on much weight (probably not a terrible thing) and my stress levels are higher than they have been for a very long time.... they just cant see what they are doing is not helping and it is wearing me out :(
Molly Jane is doing really well and is a right little madam at the moment.... NOOOOOO and STOP are big words and she is trying to flex her muscles when being told that she cannot do or have something. We are not having tantrums, but she is getting very upset and angry more now.
Some of this is to do with the fact that she is not often having a day sleep now and she is very tired by the end of the day. She still goes into her room and lies in bed, listening to classical music... we have the rule that if she doesnt sleep she still must rest and cannot get up until the CD has finished (its 70mins).... occasionally she falls asleep listening to it but more days than not she just quietly plays on her bed.
She is very excited about Christmas and we have got a message from Santa on the Portable North Pole (google it if you have not done or seen it - its fantatsic) and she watches it often. I cant believe how much she has gown up this year, she is a really little person and its amazing to see how she has changed from this time last year.
She loves 'my baby' and talks to it and kisses my tummy most days, she loves it when it moves around and cant wait to meet her sister (only a sister Mummy, i dont want another brother)... I have a feeling that it may be a boy, but we will have to wait and see,
Sorry it is such a me post, i think of you all often, sorry i failed on the christmas cards this year.
Take care and much christmas joy and love to you all and your beautiful Kiddies
xoxo

HIya girls hope you are all well and survived xmas and new years. it all seems like a blur now and just getting the house back into order. Finally after months on meds and treatment etc I found some energy to have agood clear out.Boy did I have some crpa in my cupboards *L* think it was kind of cathartic really out with the old year and in with the new..it has to be better than 2010.We had a mad xmas with relleis coming down form Brisbane a cousin and her husband who were having major dramas and on the brink of seperation which was not fun at all. MY cousin is a lazy lazy lazy cow and bascially I waited on them hand and foot for a week clot in the leg and all.SHe literally did not do a thing for her 3 kids her husband was bought to babysit and thats about it. My mum had a biopsy on her breast the wed of christmas week so was sort of out of action and of course worried about results. Cousin knew this was happeneing but still came down.We had a nice xmas day with the kids but we all jumped in the air when they left on boxing day. My aunt who came with them drank 3.5 litres of scotch form Monday to Sunday..one litre of that on xmas day..and boy does she get lippy when drunk ( in fact we are now convinced she is alcaholic as she doesnt get fall down drunk after consuming so much) she mouthed off about my husband at one point so I had words which I have never ever done before and she backed down really quick Of course she couldnt rememebr the next day.It really made me angry that they showed so little consideration for mum or my health and *****ed and whined about everything down to the weather beign too hot too cold us having a hot xmas lunch and the fact we dotn drinka t breakfast and they wanted champagne and also that I hadnt cut the heam until xmas eve. Top it off they didnt contribute a single dollar or loaf of bread ot feed 6 people for a week. grrrrrrrrrrrrr
Anywya seem karam was going to have its way and they got stuck in Wawrick on the way home flooded in on a farmstay for 2 days and the front of their car flooded . They were perfectly safe and got home eventually but was kind of ironic becasue it cost her quite a bit of money that she thought she had saved my leachign off us. (I knwo I sound terrible but you really had to experience the behaviour to know why I feel liek I do about it all )
To top off our crap year my mums results came back the wed after xmas and she has been diagnosed with breast cancer:-(((((( We were gutted of course. Thankfully though she has dcis ( ductal carcinoma in situ) and this will be removed with a masectomy basically curing her. NO radition or any other follow up treatment needed. So good and bad news really. The docs told her to go on holidays as they are off to africa and new zealand on the weekend and are gone basically until the end of March and will ahve surgery when she gets back. She is feeling ok about it all and think the trip will keep her mind off it all.
NIcks job has been crappy too and we are on the job hunt more than ever after the boss suggested a %40 pay cut in order to keep the job going..like hell mate!! especially since iHavent been paid since mid october. So fingers crossed. SO many peopel I knwo had a rough 2010 for one reason or another so I am hiping its betetr for all. SOrry to have amoan and it all be about me.. woudl live to hear how all your little people enjoyed xmas and how you are all doing. I am ok and this year will be a good one I am determined to make it so *L* xx
-
So good to hear from you Bron.
Family sounds a tad selfish & sad :( I don't blame you for loving karma ;)
So sorry to hear about your mum :( Can she wait that long to have the masectomy? I'd have thought they'd want to do it asap to prevent it spreading? I hope once she has the surgery done that's the end of the drama's for you guys for a long time.
Our christmas was really good :D My uncle tried to screw it up, but it happened too early in the morning for anyone to remember. Long story, but I'll give you the short version.
He's been with this woman with 3 adult boys for 6 or more years. It became obviouse that she was very controlling 4 or 5 years ago when he started to avoid his brother who lived in the same town & would come to family events alone & only for the minimum amount of time.
She's walked all over him all this time & have let her boys as well, threatening to take him for everything he has if he tries to get rid of her (he only has a house & car after his first wife getting everything, then going on quite a bender & suffering from depression when the marriage fell apart).
Anyway, we all went out west for my pop's 80th back in November. He showed up that morning with his DS who we haven't seen in about 6 years. She had just gone away somewhere & he had been waiting for her to come home. That night she rings & tells him she's coming home, he better be there when she gets there. So at about 2am they leave. No goodbyes, they just leave. Poor Coen gets dragged along.
She never made it home.
2 days before christmas I tell mum & dad to beg him to come coz I want him here. He's just waiting for a meeting with her (she still hasn't been home) & then he'll come over here.
I tell dad to text him for me & he suprises us & shows up at mum & dad's 11am christmas eve. They all come in here for the night so they can wake up with the christmas morning.
He's not off the phone with her the whole time
6am christmas morning Summer wakes up. I sit up, in my undies to feed her. Just as she goes back off to sleep he comes into our room. He & it had been fighting all night, can he borrow DH's car to go out to mum & dad's to pick up his car so he can go home. DH half asleep agrees letting him know the petrol is low.
Off he goes. He could've turned off his phone just to enjoy christmas morning with us & left later. The only thing we've heard since is that she still isn't home.
Jesse had attatched himself to him in the few hours the night before & when he woke up the first thing out of his mouth (standing in front of the presants!) was 'where's david??' We pointed to DH's brother David & he says 'no, other David'. He was heart broken.
Anyway, after all that the adults were all awake (car starting woke everyone else up) & we ended up waking the kids up coz they thought they'd sleep in
The girls woke up & it still took a few minutes of talking for them to realise what day it was, lol. I thought Jaz would've been straight onto it!
Then DH goes up & wakes Jesse. He normally rolls around if he gets woken up & doesn't like it. This time he was up & running like a bullet
It poured rain the whole day, but it was great. We had both great grandmothers here, both our parents & all our families except my brother (live near Perth) & his family & DH's brother (can't drive & no room in IL's car).
Lots of pressies & food & not one argument. Even the kids didn't fight once!!
To top it off DH got his tax back on christmas day! Over $3000, so for chrissy we got a 42" LCD TV, mower, boat & a crappy vac til I can afford a better one.
Best christmas yet I think :)

Good lord look at that shockign typing and spelling am sorry girls I type like i talk..too fast and all over the shop but am sure you got the message *L*
Skye..ruddy families they give you the pip sometimes dont they..drama drama drama when you have enough in your life. Yay on the tax cheque must have been a releif for you and nice to be abel to spend a littl eon yourseleves.
Mums cancer is non invasive which means it has no affected the lymph nodes or other areas and inf act she coudl wait up to 4 months before surgery if she wanted to. The doc got a few opinions and they are fine with her waiting. I think its even more important to her now to live lfie as well. She has one area 3mm and 0.9 mm in size so they are samll but full masectomy is recommended on herleft breast. We are so lucky as it coudl have been much worse and I htink after all my time at the chemo clinic and seeing what i did my bigegst fear for her was to go through chemo etc and she doesnt have to endure any of that. So we are thankful for small mercies.
Weather ahs been crazy here and yesetrday full on drama in town as the local cinema roof collapsed during a hail storm. Trapped 36 people who lucky all got out eventually and more or less unscathed.. Our little drama here in theb ig scheme of things with all the floods. Ah over the rain but wont complain becasue I my home is safe and sound unliek so many others. OK am off for a nanna nap on final taper of pred and sleep is stil out of whack got to grab it while WIl is asleep you know how it is. HOpe your fmaily liked th epics of the kids they were so cute.:-)
-
I read about the cinema! Glad noone was hurt.
Well I guess thats good about the cancer, as good as can be anyway :)
My mum wants us girls to get checked & make sure we don't have a breast cancer gene, since my Grandma's cancer started there, but I've since read that not being immediate family they won't do it. It is one of the reasons I'm determined to breastfeed as long as possible again.
Toy Story 3... hope Jesse & his mood decide to fall asleep while watching it!
