Just a quick reply,
Well my girlfriend had her baby on friday. I got a call at 7.45 and was out the door having put Jemima back to sleep for her morning nap and left her with DH (who was quite daunted not knowing how long I would be gone for). I got there at 9.15 and she was doing well contrax every few mins but not to intense and she was very relaxed with them and embracing them really well. She asked whether she should call the MW at 9.50 I said I thought she had a while to go she was like yeah fine don't bother just yet. 2 contrax later she says..... " I want to push!" So we called the MW straight away. I thought she would give birth without the midwife and whilst that wasn't ideal it didn't stress anyone. Middy arrived at about 10.40 and she pushed her baby out caught him in the water at 11.15. She was amazing, it was truly a joyous uninterupted birth. The midwife was very chilled and we both just encouraged her to do as her body said and she did. She is a lovely woman and she was just so thankful to have great support. TBH she did an awesome job and it was amazing to be apart of it. The only stressful thing has been visiting her with her mum there cos her mum is a midwife and she didn't want her there because she was too scared of Jecinta having a homebirth. I encourage any of you who was a beautiful experience to look into your options and do it!! I will for the next one for certain.
Jemima is still teething.....grrr... she is taking forever to go to sleep at nights for the last 2 weeks and it is driving me nuts... I usually fall asleep with her these days cos she stays awake that long!!! I hope it settles down soon. One the good side she is sleeping for hrs and hr each day so I can't complain to much.

How is everyone?
I just uploaded the practice invitation of Allira's to FB for Baby buddy eyes only.... I didn't post it to my profile though as I wasn't sure if I had set the privacy settings correctly.
A few things to change on it, but I'm pretty happy with it and can't wait to start handing them out once they are finished. I'm also making sure I get photohop ASAP!
Hope everyone's had a good weekend. It's pretty cool here, I guess because of all the rain we've had. They had reports of approx 150mm in the nearest town, and I had to drive through about 20-25 different lots of water over roads which was kinda cool (none of that rushing stuff though... I'm not that stupid).
Anyway.... gotta go and get some more cleaning done before bed. Will pop back tomorrow.... public holiday for us here! YAY!
