was so anoyed some lady at the party last night held her and i was talkign to someone across to table so not looking an the lady holding her tried to give her choc cake :(, hubby said ohhh gee is she likig that cake in a weird tone thats what got my attention and im like she cant have that texture yet its to chunky in a nice kinda way not wanting to be rude, and the nan at the party said she cant have cake yet and went off kinda at her and i was like good lol and the lady goes oh it wont kill her,
its not the fact she tried to give her cake and worryig about allergies its the fact she didnt ask that ****es me off more than anything sorry about the language there.
but gee some ppl can be so rude and so dumb like fancy doin that to someone else baby
ona good note i got a teether feeder and put some pear in it and scarlet pulled the weirdest face when she sucked it but then se kept sucking and sucking and complained when i took it away lol, i mushed up a bit and gave to her on a spoon the smallest amount lol but i think she like banana better maybe for the moment for things to try.
although i only let her try a bit o things like i dont give her heaps just a bit on end of spoon is enough to get taste buds happening,
hubby was naughty and let her try choc sundae from hungry jacks, just the choc part and put a bt on her hand to suck she liked that lol
stupid lady at hungry jacks said ohh what a cute little boy man im over that lol, i swear i wanna get a shirt made up thats says........ Traylee - I don't think she looks like a boy! But I remember dressing Tiana in all pink and her ears were pierced and people would comment on what a cute boy she was! I think they just don't pay attention.
Sleepy - I'm with you. I was up at 6 to feed P (mainly cause my boobs hurt) and I went back to sleep and feel like crap cause T woke me less than an hour later! He could be waking cause he is cold. P wakes with icy hands too. They are blue :( I try and tuck them down under the blankets. Well done on Target yesterday. I am going to brave it today!
Phoenix - DH got back about 9.30 last night. Happy to have him home. I find I sleep better with him in the house. I don't know how you do it for so long! We have a cat napper here too - you arent alone.

We are doing ok, P wont let me put her down during the day. Just yells. - alot. My GP has upped her Losec to half a table twice a day so hopefully that will help but will just have to muddle through. I think I feel bad cause it means T misses out on me cause I just can't do much with her. She is still a lovely bub though, 12 weeks today! She is trying to pull herself into a sitting position when propper laying on a pillow, trying to laugh, chats to her toys on the mobile on her change table, eats her hands but still hates a bath unless me or DH is in there with her!

Traylee - I can't believe someone would try and feed your baby cake of all things without even asking! That is the height of rudeness. She's a tiny baby.
Sleepy - Maybe E is having a growth spurt. They're meant to have one at 12 wks aren't they?
AFM - E seems to have settled down now, a week after her needles. She's slept through the last 2 nights but I've still been carrying her round in the sling a bit during the day. At least she gets decent length naps in there!
Marni - I know what you mean about not being able to spend any quality time with the big sister. A is great most of the time, but it definitely gets to her. She seems to be having a super emotional week this week too.

Traylee- Wow that is so wrong to try feed your baby cake geese some people get me at times to unbelieveable.
Sleepy- Time does just fly by dosent it i am trying ti cherish every minute with M as she is growing so quick and in a way i get a little sad as i know i wont be having any more babies. I am still swaddling M so she gets up with nice warm hands but in the day when she is awake they do get very cold i try to put something on with extra long sleeves just to cover them abit. Toy sale i havent evenconsidered tackling that yet.
PM- Glad E is better now after the needles sun is trying to shine here today to (thats a first in a week)
Marni- goodluck with the toy sale today. i have no idea what i am even going to get our kids 2 older ones are so hard to buy for now as they are really past toys and that never play with them.

Ok well yesterday was another day of cat napping for M so didnt get alot done and toddler is still grizzly and miserable
this morning has started alot better so hope it is a smooth day today.
Doctor prescribed Zantac to try first for M and if that dosent help have to go back she is on that 0.8ml 3 times a day so will give that a week and see if it helps might of helped this morning as she has actually been a sleep a good 2 hours so fingers crossed. She was alot more content yesterday could actually put her down without her crying and she layed and cooed and gaaed so that was a first hopefully it keeps up as usually she wont be put down anywhere she even sat in the rocker which was a first to every other time i put her in the rocker she would scream so will wait and see if it continues.
I also feel the same i feel i am not spending enough quality time with my 2 older children aged 7 and 5 i seem to be so busy with the 2 little ones constantly lately i feel bad about it i might take them this weekend and do something special with just the 2 of them.
We had a good night last night fed at 9:00pm asleep by 10:15pm and woke at 7:00am this morning the last 2 nights we had been back to the 4am feed so was greatful for a full night sleep last night.
Anyway time to feed M so takecare everyone and have a lovely day.

had scarlet weighed she is now 5.36kgs, so 220 up from last week :).
but yea scarlet barely has slept today we been out all day, but she sleeps well night so i dont care during day jus makes it hard when she wants my atention all day and i have things to do
Cap - Yay for the Zantac! Hopefully it will help the little chicken and your house will become much calmer and quieter.
Traylee - I think all bubs sleep differently, I think they are meant to get into a morning and afternoon sleep sometime around now, but if you can find something that works for your bub and family then stick with it.

Today I have spent most of the day trying to catch wee. I have already used 3 pediatric wee catching bags and the fourth is on her. Two she pooed in and one just didn't work. This is my last one... Hopefully we will get lucky and it will catch it properly! But QML will be closed so I will have to put it in the fridge overnight. Does anyone know if that is ok? Hope so, really don't want to have to do it all over again. Sounds like she is awake again. Better go and get her!

whats everyones plans for the weekend? Us not much Mum comes today so looking forward to seeing her.
We had another great night with May fed at 9 asleep by 10 woke at 4am put dummy in and then went on to sleep till 7:30am but i was up with DS at 4ish he has been vommiting all night poor little boy last weekend DD1 had it and now he has it must be something going around the school i just love how all the germs come home from school fingers crossed no one else gets it we were lucky to all miss it last weekend.
I really think May has been better already from the zantac i hope it keeps up.
Weighed her last night and she didnt gain as much this week only 80g she normally averages anywhere between 150-250 sometimes more not sure why?? she didnt gain as much this week she weighed 5.025kg 11Ib will weigh her in a couple of days and see what the gain is.
At what age should they be double there birth weight?
anyway better go feed DD1 shes starving lol takecare and have a nice weekend
im pretty happy scarlet went down at 5pm slept right threw till 5.45am , yay hope it lasts, last 2 night she has been waking 5am or yea last night 5.45,
use to be 3.30 to 4am she would wake so i got bit extra the last 2 nights :)
traylee it is great getting that bit extra sleep isnt i thought i was dreaming last night putting the dummy back i was sure it wouldnt work but it did thank goodness as i was to busy running round with spew buckets and that i really didnt need to try feed a baby aswell lol.
cap yes scarlet doesnt havent a dummy, i actually got up to check on her at 5 when i woke and my hair touched her hand and she jumped and then woke like 30mins later lol,
once she is asleep she pretty much stays asleep dont hear a peep outta her so thats why i check lol
I am also abit like that i always check the kids i never used to be really paranoid about that but since finding my MIL passed away i am very paranoid now i am always checking them to make sure there ok
Traylee - that is so rude, I don't blame you for being ****ed off. I would be able to help myself and keep my mouth shut lol, she is still so little and noone has any right to feed anything to her but you guys, especially without asking. Wow S certainly is a great sleeper, hope she keeps it up for you.
Marni - How come you are pee catching? Hope the extra meds help settle P's reflux. I feel all of you with bubs with reflux, colic was bad enough and that's now gone YAY. Only 3 more sleeps to go, I've lived on my own since my first divorce 7 years ago now and DH working away is all I know in this relationship - plus I used to do the same (it's how we met) but the dog sleeps on the floor in my bedroom when DH is away, she'd lick anyone to death but she is scary looking lol.
Sleepy - A's hand in morning are like blocks of ice too, god they are cold when she cuddles up for her morning feed I jump sometimes. Her tops are now constantly wet from her having her hands in her mouth and dribbling, I've had to stock up on more bibs.
PM - Glad to hear E is over her needles the poor little thing. Can you please send some sunshine my way, haven't seen any all week and it's impossible to get any washing dry. One good thing about DH being away, he can't get narky at me for using dryer lol.
Caplay - Great that the Zantac is working, fingers crossed for more settled time during the day :)
Hello BW, Tiff, Jleigh, Tina, Socks and anyone else.
Well the nap routine seems to be working, I put her down about 2 hours after her last wake up and she's now going down without much of a fight, usually grizzles for about 5 mins before nodding off. She can be down anywhere from 30mins to 1.5hrs so make the most of whatever I get. Night-times haven't changed she went down at 9pm last night and woke up at 6.45, had a feed and back down until 10.45 this morning. Which was great coz I managed to get showered, have brekkie and make the pastry base for lemon tart :) With her naps I even managed to get a couple of boxes packed yesterday. She's due down again in about 20 mins and I'm hoping to get some of the kitchen started....all the c**p you don't use that much but you may "need" occasionally and takes up half your cupboard space lol.

Well it's 3.20am and we have had a pretty whingy night. It's been like this the last couple of nights too. Waking alot to pit the dummy back in. It's very tiring. He was sleeping beautifully until roughly 4am every night with the occasional dummy waking. But I think he must be going thru a growth spurt. He never really had one before, not that I noticed dramatically anyway. But this one, hoping it is one is really messing with me. I think it's because I'm used to him sleeping so well that's it's thrown me off. I am having trouble coping during the day and am not able to have a sleep during the day.
I really hope he goes back to normal very soon!
Sleepy - :hug: I hope he goes back to sleeping for you soon! I think it is harder once they have been sleeping well to go back to waking often again. A pity that bubbas don't realise that sleep deprivation is a form of torture! Maybe you can have a nap today if your husband is home?
Phoenix - The dr is checking for a UTI - she said it is unlikely but wanted to be sure it wasn't and definately the reflux that is making her so unsettled. Its great that naps are working better for you! I think if we stop stressing about them they get easier too.

Well for my sisters birthday she wants me to make the masterchef chocolate brownie. I found the recipe but think I better make a practice one today to make sure I can do it!:p Phoebe is still great - when she is overtired it isn't good but if she gets that way generally it is my fault anyway... Need to watch those tired signs. A dummy seems to help with the reflux but it is awful to hear her sometimes - it comes up and she keeps swallowing it, then yelling. Poor chicken. I am taking her to a chiropractor tomorrow, I figure it can't hurt and is a lot cheaper than the $300 peadiatrician that she is booked in to see!
