Nah they're safe. I probably wouldn't trust the ones on ebay though, might not be genuine amber - which is what gives the natural pain relief aspects of them ;)
Call me suspicious....
Hello ladies..
Had the blood test.. God that was awful. I feel traumatized so I imagine poor Archie feels worse. His arm has already come up with some more bruises from the pressure of holding him down. I am so worried about what could be causing this.
The dr said it is definately petechiae but they will have to find out what is causing it. One good thing is that he doesn't think it could be leukemia as his liver and spleen are not enlarged. I think he thinks it is thrombocytopenia which is low platelet levels or a clotting disorder. Archie didn't have any vitamin k at birth so this could be why.. If that is the case, he'll just have to have the injection. God I hope it is just that.. I am sick with worry.
I have to phone the dr at 4 pm to see if the results are back yet otherwise it'll be tomorrow morning sometime.. I'll let u all know xxxxx
Oh how scary Kymmy  DD2 didn't have the vitamin K at birth either, so please don't feel alone here!
oh gosh kymmy.. my stomach just churned reading your post

Firstly, Kymmy  to you for Archie, poor bubba that must have been so traumatic for you both. Thank god it's not leukemia........he'll be fine, he's a big strong boy. Kisses for him today....extra special ones. xx
Secondly - that story had me in tears, I can't even begin to describe how beautiful that story is and how adorable is the little girl. My boss has a son with DS and he is such a cutie. :D
I don't have much else to say.....I'm still feeling a bit zoned out after that!

oh my. i bawled too. what a gorgeous story. amazing woman
That birth story was very emotional for me. I think having the photos made it worse cause you could see the mums expressions. It must have been a shock but Im glad she didnt have any other problems - like holes in her heart etc.
Kym- thinking of you hun, how much more do you have to be put through xxx
Hi Madame - where did you buy your amber necklaces from? I felt Amelia's bottom gum earlier and I swear I can feel hard lumps! Poor petal, no temp or anything but I really do think things are starting to move in there. She had a poo explosion in her jolly jumper before which was very much like a breastfed poo - yellow with mustardy seeds ha ha....but she hasn't had any of my milk since Sunday, I've officially given up girls, I only got 5 mls yesterday, I'm quite sad about it but trying not to dwell on it if I can. Anyway not sure if that poo has anything to do with teeth, I've been told different things about how their teeth affect them.
I know ubbs! Those photos.. just made the whole thing so .. real.
It was sad, yet beautiful.. what an incredible mum
And that name... mm, what a name! Just LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Yep, I had yet another look, I just love the photos - I actually think that baby is just the cutest little thing don't you think? What a sweet little face, I want to squeeze her and kiss her. :)
beautiful story, beautiful bubba and YES BEAUTIFUL name- Nella- gorgeous.
Baltic Amber Teething Necklaces | Teething Relief | amberbebe and yeah harper just gnaws on my finger on her gums too. could be a while before a toothy peg pops through though. look out for red cheek and killer wees- gives them nappy rash as its quite strong. Tully started early but i dont think one popper through for quite a while- although a bub in our mums group had one by 3 months!
feelin the love
x madame x
Hi Madame - if you think they really work I'll buy one! I think it's ironic that Amber is found around Poland given my FIL is Polish lol! I would rather use natural products, I got the Bonjela out last night and it's got alcohol in it, I know it's only a minute amount but still, she's only 4 onths old! She did wake twice last night, the first time she was quite upset and I had to actually pick her up and give her a cuddle, she went back to sleep within 5 minutes - I think it was wind as she was lifting her legs up and I picked her up and she had a little burp. Then she woke again at 4.30 am but I let her go and she re-settled herself. I'm so glad as I had a stinking headache, had to get up and pop some nurofen, I haven't had one of those in ages! I think before I was pregnant as I didn't one headache while I was pregnant. Oh did I tell you girls AF came back!!! Monday I got them, 3 weeks to the day after the last one.....grrr. I hope I'm not going to have them every 3 weeks because that would really annoy me! Interesting about the signs of teething though because I've noticed Amelia's girlie bits are a little red these past two days so have been using sudocreme. Maybe that's why! Thanks for your help.
Hi to everyone else, hope you are all well today. xx
i just heard from my bf and she has lost her baby at 10 weeks :( im so sad for her
OH no Madame :( Too many losses going on at the moment - whats happening with the world?
Alison - I'll give you a tip - SM33 is MUCH better than bonjela - but I can't remember if you can use it at 6 months or 4 months
Does anyone else's baby click their jaw all the time? Eden does it ALL THE TIME and its driving me quite mental cos it makes me feel a bit sick every time I hear it!!
