Hi Girls,

Crashing in here as Alison mentioned the 12 Week Challenge on FB. So what do we do?

Just to re-introduce myself, I was originally in December Belly Buddies due 7th Dec, but DS2 Ryan arrived by VBAC 12 days early on 27th Nov. I've been hanging out with the Dec girls and I guess it's about time I popped my head in here.

You girls are a chatty bunch so I'll have to read and catch up before I can do persies.

For those of you with 2 year olds, I hear ya! We're still working through our sleep dramas, TT dramas and a few biting incidents with our 2.5YO DS1 Craig.

i definately on the toddler sleeping drama/testing boundaries bandwagon.
im sarah, 27, married, cafe owner, soon to be second business owner, mother of ds-Tully- 20 months and dd Harper 4 months. im in country vic and just just adore these bb girls more than they'll ever know. I'd be a weeping mess if ever there were a day we could all meet up. what a lovely bunch and yes chatty one too- we have here.

Hi Everyone else - had a great night, Amelia slept without waking at all, 8.00 pm to 7.30 am, no dummy all night and was put down awake, wish I could have that every night!!!! Gotta run, a friend is coming soon and the house is a shambles.

im in shock! He LOVEEEDDDD it!! hahaha!
Kept sucking on it till it turned to mush, then kept making little "mm mm" noises, haha! Was so so cute!

DD absolutely HATED them! I even tried putting vegemite on them for her, but she wouldn't touch them! I hope he ends up being a good eater, so far so good!

Alison - I will try my best to keep up with the 2 threads :D Krysalyss was already offline but I PM'd her my details anyway. Good thing I decided to do the 12 week challenge, I've put a couple of kgs back on! No naughtly foods yet today. DS1 is asleep so might quickly hop on the Wii Fit.

Mel - Hi Mel, fellow VBACer! Read your post about the twin pram and DD2 in the sling. Wow. Means I have no excuse now when I think about going for a walk with DS2 in the sling and DS1 in the pram.

Sarah, Tel, Kymmy - I remember you girls from when we were all waiting for bubs to arrive, seems like only yesterday. he he he 'walks on the beach'.

Tel - Sent you a fb friend request. I'm Suzi Murray. I've been meaning to try Ryan with a rusk, my poor fingers need a break!

Time for Wii Fit! Have pea and ham soup in the slow cooker, not sure how healthy it is.

Hi Suzi welcome I'm bec, mum to ashleigh 8 Luke 4 and ruby 4 months. Ruby was born in December but I couldn't leave my girls from the November thread. We all seem to have some weired connection going on…
Afm I tried ruby on some rice cereal today, Im going to leave it another few weeks, she's just not ready and I only tried her cause I was curious.
Telly that is so awesome that someone paid for your subscription!!! I wonder who it was? Oooh you'll have to organise your Avvy now.
I forgot to re pay my subscription so now I don't have an avvy, not to worry I wanted to change mine anyway cause my hair is different now!

OMG TELLY! I noticed that yesterday but didn't think anything of it!! YAY!

Well i have had a pretty full on day with Archie.. he is teething and is really clingy and grumpy! He has also been waking alot just after i put him to bed at night for the last few days.. i'm soo tired!
On a more positive note, i forced my BF to POAS and it came up instantly as a BFP!! I figured out she is 9 weeks and 1 day and is due November 21st!!! Thats two days before Archie was due! haha! She is a bit upset i think... i don't think she was quite ready yet but she'll be right, we were even discussing names in the end.
After today i've kinda changed my mind about having anymore kids...... hahaha just kidding!

afm- well we are so sick here. tully is getting a bit better, after antiobiotics, but still in his crazy stage. dh sick and so tired coz he works way too hard....i dont feel very loved but i know i am KWIM?? don't really feel like :bd: seeing as i feel horrible in my body- hello 12 week challenge!!!
dh is in with tully now- he has been fighting sleep for the last week or so. screaming unless we are there with him. god it has been hard. he has been such a good sleeper till now.
harper is really sick too. i got really worried tonight, she is coughing so so hard, her eyes red, sore runny nose. sometimes coughs so much she nearly cant breathe....i nearly called the nurse, but she settled a bit and is finally sleeping. other than that she is really good. a bit clingy and biting really really hard on my poor finger with these darn teeth moving around, but happy, smiley and settling well. she puts herself to sleep at night quite regularly :hide:

hopefully finalise the lease for my new business this week!!! can't wait!!!

I rearranged my room and lost like 2 kg but only cos the scales are in a different spot lmao

Got 2 new kittens mango who is an Ginger one and miss monkey who's black and white.... Gotten from cat haven, usually don't like Ginger ones but his name was BB lmao saw it as a sign but changed the name , he's so cuddely too and they had 2 for 1 so got the other who's original name was skiddles, though her brothers were piddles and widdles so I did well really got 2 weeks til they get the snip, made them a cat enclosure too so hopefully keeps them away from cars, it's 2x2m so good size

Hi to Suzie I'm Monika I have Malachi 5 aka tornado taniesha 3 hunter 2 and serenity 6.5 months born at 32 weeks, what can I say my kids are eager to meet me lol

Was watching kendra the other day on Foxtel (ex playboy chick) and she had a breakdown to her dh about feeling fat and ugly after having her da then I started crying and said see Jose it is normal I'm not being weird lol

I had A day of pink down there that about it so hopefully af keeps away

Still bf though I tried s on baby cereal too but she loved it more of a sucking then chewing though so gonna make her wait abit lol made it with ebm though and finally I'm 000 abit sad actually got her some lol pj today don't they grow so fast she even fell of the bed yesterday when I was out shopping and left Jose in charge it was her nap time and there I was getting all proud I had a child that hadn't fallen off anything onto the floor, thanks Jose

12 Wk Challenge - I was sooooo hungry last night after dinner, but had a decaf green tea instead. Need more fruit in the house to cover the sweet cravings, like watermelon. Got 30 minutes on the Wii Fit doing Step and walked to the shops with the kids. Hey, does anyone get a different weight on their bathroom scales to their Wii Fit? The Wii said I'm nearly 3kg lighter?!? It's not about the number, it's about shifting this deflated balloon that calls itself a stomach.

AFM - Ryan is teething like mad here. I'm going to try him on a rusk today. Craig has got the TT bug again and is getting DH and I to sit on the toilet when he goes potty. He even makes us lift the lid and take our pants down if we try to sit on the lid fully clothed :ROFL:

My friend and neighbour had a little girl Holly at 4:57am. She was booked for an induction tonight! :cheer:

Suzi, your kids are adorable!!!!

I'm only doing the exercise part of the challenge and yesterday i did nothing so i am planning on walking today, I may need to help in the canteen though as one of the ladies has pneumonia.

Archie chucked a hissy fit again last night when i tried to put him to bed. I gave him some Brauers teething stuff and some rescue remedy which seemed to work. I had the panadol ready to use next but didn't need to in the end. Has anyone used panadol yet?

School back today and Brit has horseriding after school so i have to hook the float on and load on the pony which i get a little nervous about on my own cos this pony likes to run off the float backwards when you are least expecting it! Might have to convince my neighbor (Brittney's 40year old BFF! haha!) to come along and give me a hand.

Hi Suz - Day 2 of the challenge, sounds like you're going well, I'm doing well too so far, I had 3 squares of choccy last night but that's better than half a block like usual lol - I don't believe in depriving yourself of stuff like that, it's not sustainable and realistic. I've been for an hour walk the past 2 days and going for another walk today, feeling good about giving this a go. As for the Wii board, you have to weigh in on a hard surface, if you do it on carpet it registers you as lighter, mine makes me 3kgs lighter on the carpet too lol. I got on this morning and it said I've lost 500 grams but that can't be right, perhaps when I weighed in the other day it was before a trip to the loo cause I can't have lost half a kilo in 2 days lol. Oh and as for Craig and the TT, how cute making you guys pull down your pants etc., I had funny visions of that hee hee.

Hi Kymmy - back to school for the kids huh, I'm so glad, I can shop in peace again now. hee hee That's so exciting about your friend, I gather she's not feeling sick then? Lucky her! Like you I can't wait be pregnant again but am totally dreading the morning or all day sickness again. Also, I had a friend tell me yesterday I should wait a bit longer as surely I want to enjoy Amelia for a while first and also how hard it would be having a newborn and a 2 year old. Made me feel guilty and scared so now I'm not sure if trying at the end of the year is such a good idea after all. I'll be 38 next year though otherwise I would wait longer! I wish people would keep their opinions to themselves sometimes.

Hi Mon - lovely to hear from you, I've been wondering where you were. I love the piccies of your new kittens, they are beautiful. I love people like you, as someone who has helped many dogs find new homes from shelters etc I think it's fabulous that people give these babies a second chance. I just wish more people would do it rather than buy a puppy from a puppy farm. :shakehead:

Talking of Amelia, she's been asleep for nearly 2 hours but she only had 45 mins this morning so not surprised. DH came home just before her morning nap cause he left his mobile behind and started playing with her and got her overtired. Men, they don't understand the work we put in to their daily routine, grrr. lol Of course she started to get poopy then and he just grabbed his keys and went back to work, yeah thanks for that! NOT! :wall: Oh and one of the girls in my mums group (she had the same OB as me) has to have corrective surgery on her hoo ha tomorrow, apparently she has some major damage "in there" that just hasn't healed from her labour - how awful does that sound! She only went and had it checked at the OB because she hasn't been able to DTD at all due to pain. Poor thing.

we have just come back from the dr and harper has croup. the nurse thought whooping cough so im relieved its croup. back to see dr tomorrow to check her over again but should clear up in a few days thank god.
