I wouldn't worry about skipping a step in motion, Kelly. DS never crawled on his knees, just went to a crab crawl and then to walking at 9.5 mo. I guess we won't know till he's bigger, but he doesn't seem to be disadvantaged ;) Like you say, what are you going to do? Chain them to the floor? I don't think they miss out. Maybe it just means they'll have a different learning style - not better or worse, just different :)

hahaha Kelly, DH and i were only talking about the "middle child syndrome" tonight, but i think you are both right, Leo just wants as much time with his mumma as he can get.
I really hope you get a BFP soon, i know how hard the ttc journey is, Leo took us 13 months, thats why we started trying when he was only 3 months old for bub #3, but never in our wild dreams did we think it would happen on our first round of Clomid... I hope you are blessed again very soon. I have everything crossed for you. I hope your next FET goes ahead this July... Keep us posted.

Hi Girls, i finally worked out (after almost a year) how to add tickers on here, so just checking it works ok.. hehehe
-
kelly dd is the same, not interested in crawling but loves to stand and pull herself to stand so id say shell walk first too. good luck with everything cant wait for a bfp from you
maya i agree they r just different to the 'norm' hope you guys r all feeling better.
BM so glad things r going so well, looking forward to hearing ur u/s results
jades cut another tooth so were at 4 now. shes such a handful atm, i think its either 8 mth sleep regression or developmental but she just doesnt like to sleep anymore. once upon a time she was a great sleeper, oh well she will get through it. shes doing so many things now, waving, clapping, peek a booing, pulling herself up, wont roll but has once and once only lol. she has her own little personality and yes a temper. she chucks tantys at the drop of a hat its funny. it wont be if shes still doing it in a few years time tho lmao
hope ur all well girls

hey everyone, just thought I would bump the thread and see how everyone is doing?
All good here, DD is still happy cruising the furniture and standing on her own for longer periods now. Are the other BF bubbas still feeding overnight?
Maya how is the EC going?

Hey Oz, was just thinking I should post again when I saw your post!!! We are going well, still doing physio to get her muscles stronger but shes able to do a good worm crawl to get around so happy about that! Also STILL on losec for the reflux, we see the paed in a few weeks so will talk more about it to him when we see him, though I think she will be on it awhile longer as all the symptoms seem to come back even if I miss just 1 or 2 doses!
I'm back doing some casual teaching, loving it, though missing DD, but is nice to have some me time! Im only doing 1-2 days a week which suits me fine at the moment.
Have dropped to 3 milk feeds a day now through the middle bottle will prob go soon too as she is hardly drinking that now. She is loving drinking water from her sippy cup now which is good and is finally starting to chubb up a bit!!!
Belly rubs to the pregnant mumma's and hugs for the rest of you gorgeous mummas!!!

It's been ages!
Oz - Ecing is going great! With the sicknesses coming and going I miss more wees cos I haven't been on the ball with my head full of snot ;) But, in general, coming home with clean, unused cloth nappies cos we've only kept the one, dry nappy on. Still regular with the morning poo, so that makes it even easier.
Still no teeth!!! Though last week I was talking to someone who's granddaughter had no teeth till about 13 months...we'll see!
Currently trying to figure out taking a step unaided. Very funny. Lots of chattings and she loves her food. Still feeding once or twice overnight, but not actually waking for those feeds.
SHe's too easy - just as well, cos DS has hit his 4yo stride!
How's everyone else tracking? I still haven't made my 8 month check appt...maybe by 12 months I"ll get round to it!!

Good to see you girls back on here :D
Oz- yep DD is still having 1 feed over night 7:30pm then anywhere from 3:30am- 5:30am. Sounds great but she tends to scream and sook in her sleep so Im in there checking whats up, when in reality shes alseep....little dag! How cute is it when they start cruising...I love it.
Ery- Yah for DD worming away, good on her  Glad to hear you are enjoying working here and there.
Maya- Gee, I wish I had known about Ecing before DD was born, just one of the many things! No teeth here either, my admin or what was my admin said her DD didnt get teeth till she was 15 months.....it sounds like T and my DD will walk before they grow teeth ;)
AFM DD is cruising everything and like Maya's DD trying desperately to take that first step. She also said her first 'real' word, at least I think she did, she says Dad-dee when talking to DH. Way to wrap him around your finger I say
Hi to everyone, jump on and tell us how you are all going x
-
Hi girls! good to see some action going on in here!
Can u believe izzy is one in about6 weeks!!! crazy huh?
All going well here, iz says a few words, dad/daddy/dadda, mum/mumma, nan, cha and izzy, and shes just started waving.
Still commando crawling but she's started pulling herself up onto things which is exciting, starting think she might actually be walking by the time this baby is born!
She can sit but only if she's occupied, once shes distracted though she still throws herself backwards, so still needs to be watched.
Pregnancy wise, things are going well, i have appointments coming out of my ears because of the diabetes which is hard to keep up with, cant wait till january for it all to be over!

Hi All
So good to see everyone is growing and developing at their own paces, it just goes to show how different all these little people are.
Things are going good here and Tara has 6 teeth, the last 3 all came through within 8 days of each other, although we are still not crawling here. Tara still prefers to roll everywhere but she knows how to change direction by squirming around on her tummy to get to what she wants. I'm also very lucky as she will happily amuse herself for a good hour or so either by playing in her cot or with some toys on the floor. She does howver love to stand up but is still not able to pull herself into a standing position and can't work out how to take a step yet.
And today is the day when we are having our FET for hopefully number #2, so fingers crossed everything works out for us.
Take care and sending you all bug hugs...

I have everything crossed for you KellyD :crossfingers:
It sounds like being a mummy is really agreeing with you. Best of luck today hun x

Wow Oz your bump to the thread got everybody moving lol.
Its wonderful to hear how they are all growing and starting to achieve little and major milestones.
All the very best today Kelly, I hope it goes well.
Well my DD is doing really well she has finally got a tooth yayyyyyy except she likes to bite everyone now youch, still not crawling but seems to still get where she needs to go and in a hurry too lol. She is only just starting to actually get up on her knees but does a big front launching belly flop maybe she will be crawling by 12 months who knows she takes off in the walker but wont stand up on furniture or anything so go figure. Loves her food and is eating 3 meals a day plus snacks she is lucky to have 2 full bottles a day I offer them before the food but she is just not interested, she loves the morning and night ones but thats it. Doing all the waving and finger pointing at everything which is very cute, she is a total have a chat and babbles constantly, bubba and mumma and daddy and everyone else is a raspberry or she makes this ooooooo sound, she is spoilt rotten with 3 older siblings and a daddy which she has wrapped around her little finger. Still having a few middle of the night sleep issues that arose when she was sick but we are working on them, we will get there.
Skye - I hope the diabetes doesnt knock you around too much and a lovely healthy baby "boy" (fingers crossed for you) will arrive in Jan.
Butterfly mummy - I cant believe you are over 4 months already, wow how time is flying we will all be turning 1 before we know it.
Maya - Glad to hear you are all finally getting better you have been hit hard with the snot bugs this winter lol, EC always sounds like a good idea but Im afraid I would miss it all the time lol I am hopeless.
Ery - Some me time yayyyyy good for you even if it is to go to work.
LD - Your DD is such a show off lol isnt she the youngest of the group???
Well it is lovely to hear from everyone, glad to hear everyone is enjoying mummyhood and the bubs are all doing well. Chat soon xxxxx

Hi Girls!!!!
nina- I dunno, DD may be one of the young ones...1st October? Maybe Im the only one who didnt get my butt in to gear and get her out sooner ;)
skybie- way to go Iz with all her words! What a clever little chicken. She must be so close to turning 1 now- very exciting. Hope you are feeling well and Bimby isnt giving you too much grief :)
butterfly.mummy- how you gettin on hun, ms eased a bit?
Jen- hope Jades sleeping has improved a bit for you hun x
ery- hows DD's reflux, have the meds helped to ease her pain?
Oz- hope the cruising isnt causing too many bumps and bruises.
Maya- hows T and the walking going?
KellyD- Heres hoping things have worked out well for you :crossfingers:
Well DD took her first step today, a very exciting mummy moment for me today :cheer: She has been trying for about a week but just kept getting jelly legs and falling, but today she took a whole step!
Other then that we continue to lose numerous toilet rolls down the toilet, the brush, a dummy etc. Im pretty sure there is a bottomless pit somewhere in her room for dummys and some mythical creature somewhere is having an absolute ball with all these pretty coloured dummys
Hope you are all staying warm and dry, big hugs to all you gorgeous mummys and :bellyrubs: to you pregnant mummas.

Hey lily - I saw your post and that prompted me to post! I really am more of a lurker these days lol
Her reflux has gotten worse the past couple of weeks so trying the tablet form which I dissolve for her. Hoping this helps... Also took her for a head ultrasound yesterday and had blood tests done as the paed is wanting to see if anything shows up as a cause for her hypotonia (low muscle tone) and slow motor development. The scan was fine (well thats what the sonographer said) and we go back to the paed on the 1st Sept. Hoping nothing is found and she just catches up in her own time while we continue with physio. I just feel like the my pregnancy complications are going to follow Ella and I the rest of our lives!!!!
anyways thats a woe me and my daughter post lol.
Big hugs to you mummies and belly rubs to the pregger ladies
!!!

Awww ery, not a woe is me and daughter at all. You and DD are having a rough old time of things. It must be heartwrenching to watch her in pain . I hope all is good at the paed. I really hope you get some answers soon hun, it must be so hard for the 3 of you. She will get there hun, she has such a dedicated and loving mum and I know you will do and are doing everything imaginable to get your little chicky all better. Wish I could do something to help but I am thinking of you sweetie xxx

Ery I am glad things are looking positive. I can't imagine how worrying this has been for you.
LD WTG Missy J, she is such a clever chook.
Kelly D how did the FET go? I am keeping everything crossed for you.
Belly rubs to all the pg mummas.
Not much happening here, still not teeth and still happy cruising the furniture. She stands on her own for a while now though and can lower herself down when she had had enough.

I think we're all in that 'chugging along' stage where spare moments don't exist like they used to! Emails and forum posts take far too long to compose!
I'm back at uni and severely time-poor...have a weekend school this weekend and I haven't been able to get all my reading done, not even half :( Oh, well, I've survived before, I'll do it again!
T is really giving the walking thing a red hot go. She gets up and tries again, only to fall down to her hands again at 5 steps - DS even counts out her step now, it's very cute. Her swimming is coming along really well, too. She's generally a very happy baby and it feels like this was always the way, so I have to remind myself that DS was actually a bit more hands on and although happy, it took a lot more effort on my part to keep him that way. She's a much different kettle of fish! AND she's getting used to the big brother handling...poor girl...
Got her some gumboots today, for when we're at the farm...way too big, but anyway!
We went all last night with one feed and no toileting, which doesn't happen very often, so I hope her little bladder is catching on to what it's capable of, cos these 1.30am bedtimes (to do my uni work!) are getting old when I have to sit up twice during the night after getting to bed. The mantra in my head is "it will be worth it, her time in back up nappies will be a blip on the timescale soon"!
Ery - you are doing marvellous work with the girl and keeping it quite together - your IRL support must be great
LD - T-girl was born on the 15th and someone else was, too, am I right?
Better make the most of the girl being asleep, I'll kick mysel if she wakes 5 mins into understanding the reading material!
