Hmmm moving... no freaking idea. DH has decided he dosnt want to live that far away so he wants to rent it out but I want him to pull out before the settlement date mid next month and find something else. Whats the point in paying off a house while we rent at the same time? :wall: Anyway looked at some places yesterday.

Zee - careful about pulling out of a contract - unless you have a valid reason they can either make you go through with it (by the courts), or you have to pay them LOTS of money.... so unless you have a special condition that you can pull out with (ie, finance, pest or building etc) then be veryyyy careful.
(not to sound harsh or anything, but I've been in the conveyancing world for far too long and seen MANY *@#! ups...)

Kel - thats great that Jesse loves his swimming lessons - I do really have to sort some out for aricyn - he hates the water over his head though - and hates his baths at the moment, so might not be a good idea to start now.. lol .. oh and its DAMN hot here.. so muggy..

Pix - get Bear to bring you home a Kueh Lapis from the Bengawan Solo cake shop at the airport in Singapore. They have a shop in each terminal. If you like butter and cinnamon, you won't be sorry! It's not cheap, but OH SO YUMMY. Only need small amounts because it is very rich, but it freezes well. I should have thought about it and taken a chunk from the freezer to give out when you guys were here!

Mel.. oh Jesse doesnt like it when i wash his hair either.. carries on until i wipe his face. But he's fine with going under water in the pool. At first he wasnt into it, as you wouldnt be, but hes getting use to it and comes up with a smile now. Think its just one of those things that take time.

thanks everyone... Well my SIL has named her little girl Sophie Eloise, she is just beautiful they just sent through a photo of her.. Oh I can't wait till we meet her but it wont be until next March when they come across for Isabel's Christening...

Well Beth has had a pretty rough day today - very clingy and crying a lot, which is not like her.... think she has a bit of diarrhea and maybe a sore tummy so we didn't end up going out to dinner. All of a sudden she seems to be feeling better :D

Hey does anyone know a good bank account for kids? A relative gave Beth a generous gift of money (my baby is richer than I am LOL) but she needs a bank account to put it in. We looked at the Bankwest one but the money she was given is more than the annual limit you can deposit.

Bathing both kids.. Jesse freaks out as he does when i wash his hair.. Keira freaks out cos Jesse was.. i then get her out and she continues to SCREAAAAMMMM sooo loud OMG she has the highest pitch scream i have ever heard.. shes worse than Jesse and thats saying something!!! Holey cow!Then jesse freaks out cos keira is freaking out, so hes screaming.. oh i was laughing so hard lol couldnt help it.. grahame came in and took keira while i settled jesse down.. she continued to scream so loud.. had to calm her down as she didnt even want the bottle she was so worked up. ooh what an event! I wonder if my kids will be great singers with the set of lungs they both have! :lol:

wow christmas tree kell, cool, we (or shal i say I) always put ours up on the 1st december, so in a week or so i guess.
ok because i lost my last post i cant remember what has been happening. or what i have already said, but i'll give it a shot. hehe at jesse and keira, i think keira is gunna have such a temper she is already in control, knows what she wants and she wants it NOW. Jesse, Isaac, Callum, sebi Caleb and Liam will be her slaves she will bash them if they give her any lip.:D

Ikes eye test went ok, someone asked where we went! our clinic nurse gave us a referal for a childrens specialist at a hospital a normal eye specialist cant test kids so young, (but it was free). this guy was great. Isaacs eyes are 98% straight and should fix themselves as he grows, but they said they think he is short sighted, but we cant do anything for that till he is around 3.5years or older as he needs to be able to communicate better. unfortunatly my research shows it cant be fixed you just were glasses or have laser treatment so poor little bugger hope it will turn out to be ok, tho he would be cute in glasses.

thanks missy i loved you guys visiting and isaac had the best time with callum and jesse. when our play room is finished it will be so much better and the kids will have a great time in there.

Zee- I would live in it for a while to get colateral, than buy another house in sydney. that way you get the first home owners grant and have no trouble with breaking a contract.

OH i know you guys were talking about excema this week, as i have said i get it pritty bad too. and today i discovered that bepanthen cream really works great, i was on my way to swimming lessons and my hands were so itch they were driving me nutts, they had started to blead it was so bad. the only thing i had was the bepanthen cream so i used it just to relieve it a bit and OMG it worked great it took the itch away and really helped i have put it on several times today and just in these few hours i recon its 70% better than it was this morning, im going to keep using it and see what happens. funny how you find these things out by accident. i might tell my dad he has extreme excema his hands are raw, and his excema is very painful, his doctor recons he is the worst case he has seen and nothing has ever worked for him, poor guy is alergic to most prescribed creams too.

Tan- wow you poor thing, we lost isaac at lollypops ages ago, it makes your heart stop, did you go into rescue mode? i did i just knew what i had to do to find him. (hehe little bugger wanted to crash another little boys birthday party)

Pixie- we have a kids saver for each of our boys, its a commonwealth account it has no fees or anything and as long as you put money in it each month it has a good interest rate. we give them $5 a month each and my mum has a trust account ( at the commonwealth) for each of them that she puts $15 in each account each month they get hers when they are 25 or married. ours they can spend whenever they like as long as they save 10% of their pocket money etc they can do as they please with the rest.
and I know my babies are growing so fast.

well i have just gotten the worst headache right behind my eyes so i might just go lie on the lounge or something.

mel- hervey bay is awsome. one of my oldest and dearest mates lives in urangan. its beautiful, i'm sure you will love it.
My friend works at the ABC child care centre there, i think its a good centre she speaks highly of the workers there. incase your interested.
actually she is getting married in early 2010 so i will be flying up for that and staying at kingfisher. we have decided to leave the kids at home with mum and have a 2nd honeymoon (how exciting) anyway its such a nice place to live. if DH lost his job for some reason we would move there ourselves.

I know how that feels though when they dissapear....Jayden did it in Big W just before we went to Melb. Hope your head gets better.

We had a good night taking photos...not too many turned out good but takes practise I guess. I was going to ask them if I could borrow the Wii overnight as I didn't get much of a turn seen as I was looking after kids, preparing food, taking photos etc but as they left after midnight I didn't worry about it, but after they had left and Chris and I were cleaning up I saw the box in the lounge room so YAY I have a Wii for the night.....I should be going to bed but I'm having a go of Wii fit soon hehehe

Been up to the doc this morning to get a new pill. So hopefully it will help. I told her about my anxiety (not sure if youve seen my other thread or not). She said the pill can cause stress and stuff like that so to see how i go on this pill, if not to go back and see her as you can develope a Post Natal Anxiety. Never knew that. So yeh will keep an eye on it.

lol yeh.. Keira settled down once Jesse went to bed.. every sound he made a sound she screamed.. like dont push my buttons brother! :lol: I did see the humour in it though.. man you shouldve heard her go lmao. DH and i were laughing so hard.. lol poor baby.

Yep! Tree is up!!! Jesse has been surprisingly good with it. Saw it this morning and got excited but thats it.. hasnt attempted to pull anything off. Have to playpen around it atm still though.

Had friends stayin last night - had a few glasses of wine (noice) and played ten pin bowling on the wii.. was sooo funny... my friend came first, then me, then her partner, and then craig bringing up the rear.. it was soooo funny (but that COULD have been the alcohol.. lol)

Not much going on today. Haven't heard from IL's at all, even though they know that DS has pneumonia - DH called them on Wed to tell them - and they haven't called or anything to see how he is... DH is OVER it...

Gotta find DH a job in Hervey Bay - thats the only way he will get there!!!! Grrr... job schmob I say ;)

Mez: No idea why I am staying up late now, maybe I'm not busy enough during the day haha

I have had the laziest day today! I was up until 2.30am on the Wii Fit, then I was on it again this morning until SIL came around to pick it up :(. I went back to sleep with Ashlea at about 12.30pm, woke up briefly at 1.30pm then up again at 3pm....so now I am trying to do all the washing and cleaning up oh I gotta figure out something for dinner too!! Don't think Chris was too happy I slept half the day but who cares I NEVER get to so I think I deserve it! Both kids were asleep too so its not like he had to do anything....Anyway break over better get back to it

I'm back again! Lol.

I'm so glad our guests had left. I'm still in shock that MIL + partner treated our place as if it's a holiday inn where all cleaning and everything is done for them while they just lay around. They really got on my nerves extra this visit. OMG. :rolleyes: It's like when they want to go somewhere it's 'now now now, right now' but don't give me time to get the kidlets stuff ready and they're already out the door... then on the other hand when they plan to do something later in the day and I get all ready to go they change their minds and just want to lay around and sleep.. well why say you want to do it to start with if you didn't really want to!
When we've stayed with them before it was never like this, so I don't know what's different now.

I've mentioned this before I think from their last visit, but they did it again and so much more. They're pushing on DS1 what they want him to call MIL's partner. We don't think it's right he be called grandpa, so we refer to him as his name as we do with any other partners that are married or with the grandparents. At first they didn't correct DS1when he'd call MIL's partner by his name, but then they started correcting him every single time, then DS1 would say "sorry, Grandpa". :wall: I just don't agree with that and I seriously don't know how to say to them to stop it or if they'd even listen if we did say something. DP doesn't like it either. Grr.

One last thing.. They are religious. We aren't. They try to push it onto us when they know I'm not religious, nor did I come from a religious family. I grew up knowing about different things and was able to choose what I wish to believe or not. This is how we're raising our boys too. They were trying to push it onto DS1. I feel like our wishes are just stupid and not respected... again I don't know how I'd say anything to them and DP won't pipe up, which I think he should since after all it is his mother.

The funny thing is MIL is such a different person when her partner isn't around. I really don't get that either.

It's soooooo cold and rainy here. I'm hating it and I know I'll be hating the heat soon enough too so I just can't win. lol.

Tenny: OMG at your IL's!! I remember you having issues with them in the past about calling the partner grandpa, your DH should say something. At least they are gone now though. Your ticker looks great!

Feeb: So far there is 4 of us doing the KK. We'll draw names for who is buying for who and the limit is $10 unless anyone would rather more or less. PM whoever is buying for you with a few suggestions/sizes etc and your postal address. The actual gift needs to come to the agreed amount plus wrapping/postage. Any other suggestions would be appreciated

tenny - grrrrrrr at MIL. I'd be saying LOUDLY to DS1 in front of them that he doesn't have to call him Grandpa as he has his grandpa, and there's no need to confuse the issue or detract from the REAL grandpa's status by having another grandpa just because he likes the sound of it. They should pull their heads in (and DP should chime in and tell them!!)

What a busy day! Went and saw DH's best mate, his wife and their new bub today. Hes so tiny, lol well compared to boofhead Keira! Then had dinner at the ILs. Im soooo buggered!

Yep.. been watching Idol (lol and so has my mum pmsl).. but only cos theres nothing else on. I didnt really care who won but did just preferred Wes just cos of his Michael Jackson act a few weeks ago(otherwise i think he needs a hair cut and a shave! lol)

Just quickly on the KK.....
How does $20 in total + wrapping & postage so it can be $10 per child (where there are multiple children in the family) & $10 for mum $10 for bub (where there is only 1 child in the family). I would also rather it be annonymous too but wasn't sure how it would work with addresses but as you said Kell, 1 person gets all the addresses and gives it to who's buying iykwim. It would be great to have it organised so we can receive the presents by no later than 20/12.
I've written a list of who wants to be in it, I might leave it a few more days for the others??? JIC they missed my previous post.

Ashlea has been a bit unsettled since 7.30pm, didn't want to be in the bassinette, didn't want to be on my bed or in my arms, didn't want to be fed. I put her in the shower with Chris and tried feeding her again and now she is finally off to sleep. Chris is still in with Jayden, I could guarentee Chris is sound asleep in there and Jayden is still awake! I better go check...

Today I went for my day spa treatment the Bear got me as a birthday present.... it was great! so relaxing, felt very pampered! The Bear looked after Beth, but unfortunately we haven't given her a bottle for a while and little miss seems to have forgotten milk comes in bottles as well as boobies! the Bear had a bit of a battle on his hands apparently! Then he gave her all the milk in the fridge - about 240mls! Will have to make sure we give her a bottle every week or so so she doesn't forget again! And she hasn't really had a proper feed this evening - think she had a bit too much from the bottles! She is crashed out now though, so hopefully she will sleep through. All of a sudden she has got really good at holding on to things.... she was holding the remote today, very cute!
Tan - hon however you want to do the KK ie. however is easier for you. I don't really mind whether it's a secret or not, I just think its nice of you to do it and you should do it however is easiest!
SW - the Bear is on to it, he will definitely get some for me!
Tenny - :hug: sounds like your ILs are a PITA!
Zee - that sucks babe! I would definitely get it checked out.
Kel - it's funny how little newborns look now that our babies are growing so quick! Hope the new pill sorts you out.

1. $10 Mum, $10 bub (In Kristy's case, a combine present for the twins)
2. $10 Toddler, $10 bub
3. $20 bub (or $10 each for Caleb & Sebastian)
So everyone who wants to participate can you email me (let me know if you need my email addey or msg me on FB) with the following...
1. Postal address (incuding name)
2. Your choice of how you want the money used
3. A list of likes/dislikes/clothing size and anything else to help the buyer
I think thats all we need

just a quick hello! gotta get ready to go out soon. bit of shopping abd coffee with kell.

Had a pritty good weekend, did heaps of gardening, pulled out a tree made some rock gardens (they still need plants tho) we have so much to do still, DH is going to take a week off work and do a whole heap but i don't know when yet.

mel- if you think A's eyes might not be right i really wouldn't waite get them checked now. my nephew has laze eyes and his will never fix. they waited till he was at school and now he is 70% blind in one eye, he will were glasses forever, the younger they are the earier you can fix a problem. theyare very good with how they do it. first they just look at focus and if they appear straight and then they just put drops in to diolate them and than look in then and stuff.

Zee- since your renting your place out you will miss out on the first home owners grant. what a bummer. and i had depro too. don't you have to have it out for 3 months or more before you do IVF. Good luck.

Well not much happening here, Isabel has a :cold: and it's been tough the last couple of days/nights but we are getting through it. Looks like she is getting better so fingers crossed, I really need to get out of the house I've been indoors for the past 4 days...:leap:
