Tenny: Don't feel bad hun, you are a great mum! As Mel said he's the professional, he should have known.....TBH I don't really think they know as much as they think they know. The only ppl I trust with baby info is CHN's. My 2 boys would devour a cake pretty quick too. You're doing a bit of baking there lately! I keep going to but Jayden isn't very helpful with that sort of thing.
Sweetpea: You were really ripped off LOL poor thing! Did you BF'ed the other girls? How long for and did you get AF back early with them too?

That was the only time I have been really worried about Jayden's injury, I have never seen anything swell up so quick in my life!! I watched him like a hawk for at least 2 hrs after it happened, probably should have taken him to the hospital but he was fine in the end, I put a smiling photo of it on FB...Oh and some FDC xmas party pics are on my FB too if anyone wants to look.

Tan.. thanks so much for doing the KK's! You are a gem!! How exciting the ball is now rolling! Im looking forward going shopping for it. Do we have a date they should be mailed by? Say around 14th/15th December? gives everyone 2 weeks i guess.. then hopefully theyll reach their little ones on time before Christmas. Oh they must just be boys! Jesse's had a few injuries too ill have to post pics. First was scraping his head on the toy box when he was starting to pull himself.. left a nice wound on his forehead.. then last year he sat on the corner of a toy box (that was empty) and fell and smacked the bridge of his nose on the corner of mum and dad's coffee table leaving a nice big gash.. still has a scar there now. Not looking forward to what theyll have instore for us as they get older!!! Um.. i ended up just having left over pasta lol and DH has soup. Scraping the barrel here we were. Going shopping this arvo.. oh enchiladas mmmm we have a kit in the cupboard.. might grab some chicken and beans and do them tonight!!

Mel - Thanks. :hug: That's what I've been thinking too. They're suppose to be the professionals. I don't go see the CHN very much. Naughty me. Some of them aren't that nice, so I'm like stuff that. I'm never sure when the nice ones will be there since they swap and change all the time.
Tan - They look so much alike. You don't notice that much until you look at old pictures to compare. Youre kids are gorgeous too. Ouch Jayden! That looks so sore.
DS1 has all these bruises on his legs and arms lately. He just doesn't care if he hurts himself or not I don't think. Half the time I don't even know he's hurt himself cause he doesn't cry or come tell me. Lol. People prob think we're beating him or something.
I seem to be in this baking kinda mood. DS1 helps a fair bit when he's not eating the mixture while I'm stirring it. :rofl:

A friend of mine is the manager at Williams Shoes and she was holding a 40% off everything sale for friends and family for 3 days! I forgot all about it and arrived there 5 mins before closing time today (the last day)...Still managed to buy 2 pairs of shoes and a handbag though $130 value for only $77! Tonight we babysat my niece and nephew...OMG never again! They had to bring their puppy, it peed in the house, kept barking and waking Ash up. I told them to bring their Wii but they forgot the wii fit board so I drove to their house to get it while my other niece and I were getting dinner (our other bargin for the day...3 lge pizzas, 2 garlic bread and 2ltr Fanta for $10!! Love knowing ppl!) They mucked around all night playing wii sport then SIL turned up before we got to use the Wii FIt!! My niece also spilt coke on one of our theatre chairs, but didn't tell us she did it or what it was at first....lucky her or the dog didn't pee on it! Chris has told me we aren't babysitting anymore! Well enough of my ranting haha
Going to Harvey Norman tomorrow to pick up photos, 104 pics for $12.50 I think it was, they were 12c each anyway....finishes tomorrow if anyone wants pics done.

Not only was Jayden still awake after I layed with him for a while, I left and then heard him cry out again after a few strange noises (couldn't hear properly over the dishwasher), went in to check on him and he was covered in spew, as was his pillow, doona, sheet, matress....EVERYTHING!! And he was still being sick! He soaked a towel too.....I had to carry him to the bath left him in there with his bath toys (no water) while I pulled all the sheets etc off his bed, bathed him, put him in bed with Chris cause he can't sleep in his bed tonight its soaked! Now I better go try to clean the matress....Anyone know how to clean a matress covered in spew? I just have warm water with disinfectant in it then let it dry in the sun in the morning???

I had an ok time at the christening. lots of babies & childrens. I swear to god I could of killed my mil. She's a ****ing drainer. Towards the end when we were about to go home, Jonathan just woke up & feeling grumpy right, I was holding Jonathan & my ****ed up mil said to me give him to me & i will hold him for a bit & take him to my table, i'm like umm no because he just woke up & he's grumpy, she kept going on give him to me, give him to me, i'm like no & jonathan was crying his head off & i said to mil that he wants his mum now because he woke up. My husband was sitting right there WATCHING & he didn't say a word & i said to my hubby get up we r going, did u think he would listen, nooooooooooo, so i told him again this time raising my voice get up where going. I'm like oh my god man, asnd people were looking at us, but i don't care **** them. Both my hubby & mil said it was too early for us to leave, and i'm like watever man, **** u both. I'm sooooooooooo over my mil & hubby, yeah i came home felt bad, but why my son was tired & hungry by the time i feed him there everyone would have gone. My mil wanted to hold jonathan so she can show off, she's a ****ing loser she thinks she knows it all. My blood boils when i'm with her, seriously. And you know wat i'm seeing her again tonite cause we have another function on 2n, so i'm not looking forward to that & oh same people. I just wish she would stay out of my life & jonathan's too, i know it sounds bad, but really if u ladies & bear meet her OMG!!

Oh Tasia :hug: you poor thing hun. I sooooooooo know how you feel hun. Before i started to get along with my MIL i felt the exact same about her. Similar thing happened with Jesse once when he was a baby. Around the age our bubs are now.. he would scream if anyone other than DH or myself looked at him! And that would go on for hours. Well.. it happened Christmas Day around at IL's. MIL was the same. Oh its frustraiting hey. And to have them on top of it, just makes it worse. My DH is the same when it comes to that kinda stuff.. he just stands back to stay out of it, but that just makes it worse. Big :hug: hun i hope tonight is a lot better for you.
Tan.. oh dear hun i hope Jayden is ok? How is he this morning? Hmm yeh id just say warm water maybe some soap but definately give it alot of sun so that 1 the sun kills any baddies and 2 it gets completely dry otherwise it can go mouldy. Maybe an idea to invest in a matress protector? I have one on Jesse's beds thank goodness as when he was sick that time too it woulda been soaked. Make sure you wash your hands reaaaaaaally well too. Hope you and Ash and DH dont get it.

We had a pretty good one, went to dinner with the PILs and they looked after Beth while we went to see the new James Bond movie. It was pretty good actually, we haven't been to the movies for ages! We went to the Hayden Orpheum which is a gorgeous art deco theatre in Cremorne. Beth was pretty good for the PILs but didn't sleep much, but yesterday she only slept for maybe an hour or two between 8 am and 10.15 :o don't know what was up with that! Our big news is that she can sit up! If we put her on the floor in a sitting position she can sit there quite happily for a few minutes or more before going over sideways or doing a face plant! we are so proud. She was soooo happy to see her daddy Bear the other night when he came home and she couldn't wait to show him.

The other day hubby & I had an argument about god knows wat, & then i said to hubby, u & and ur mum are exactly the same i don't give a **** wat u say & i don't give a **** wat ur mum says, he then said yeah off course you don't u just care about urself then i said well i'm gonna have to, cause u don't give a **** about me. Oh when we took Jonathan to get his pic with santa, we waited in line & hubby said that he wanted to go check something out & i'm like umm we are next, the people in front of us had a hard time cause their babies was crying and we were like waiting for nearly 10 mins, and then they gave up, i said to hubby no don't go because we r next and he said i will be quick and then i said to him look we came here for jonathan to get his pic taken at least u can do is stay for him, i know u don't give a **** about me, but at least give a **** for our baby and then i said oh yeah that's right u only give a **** about ur factory and he said yes i do that's right, i said to him u know wat get out of my face u make me sick. so he stayed after all that i swish he had just gone, we were making a scene, yes the factory to him comes first, but for me my family comes first. i had enough & if this is how we r going to be if we have a second baby i'm going to divorce him, i had enough i can't take it anymore, i can't cry anymore. i'm pretending to everyone i'm happy but i'm not, a few people know in my family, my sis is like just talk to him & i said to him i have and it's the same **** over and over. so to brag you about this i got fired up lol. Keira screems her head off cos shes hungry, im bathing Jesse, i have to yell out.. can you not hear her crying! Leave your game for 5 bloody minutes. Its like he tunes out and until i say hey go do something he wont.. but when i do he does no worries. But yeh honey i think you need to sit down and have a chat with him when Jonathans napping or in bed. Because it just builds and builds until you break down. Can you maybe just stay home tonight with Jonathan and your DH just go? Kel- I can't believe men. trust me i have spoken to hubby like 100 hundred times, and it's just the same thing over and over. One time i yelled out ( not too loud though) saying that feels like im single doing it all by myself, i can do that u know, i said to him also that i don't need a flat mate i need a husband who will help me look after our son & he said well if u can't look after Jonathan u work and i will look after him and then i said it's not that i love looking after jonathan i just want you to help if not i might as well be single, and he didn't say anything. i can imagine with u have more kids will be harder, yeah u have to yell so they can listen, they don't offer u have to beg them or force them, like hello ur the father .
my friend is going through the same thing like u she has 2 girls and one on they way, but she fell pregnant she was doing everything on her own. when she needs to feed one of the girls and the other one goes spastic my friend yells out to her hubby, ummm you can help you know she's going mental. like urself when ur busy and the otherone cries and ur hubby is on the computer that drives me insane oh sweety hugs to u :hug:

Oh they always think staying home and looking after the kids is a push over.. they think we must sit on our butts and the babies sleep all day! Until they have a day at home with them on their own they will never know. But its not just the kids its the house work and the meals and everything that has to be done too. I totally know how you feel though hun. I was the same even before Keira was in the picture. They may work but once work is finished they come home and relax and forget about work. Having kids and a house is a 24/7 job. I think we're entitled to some time to relax too! Big :hug: honey. Bubbablue has got these little spots on his tummy and sides and back, not raised or anything. They are like coming and going. We're thinking it's a type of heat rash. If it gets any worse we'll take him to get looked at. He actually seems quite alright today with his cold thingie too.

Tasia - sounds very frustrating to me... You need to look after yourself and hubby needs to pull his head in. Maybe you should try some counselling? Often a third (unrelated) party can help put things into perspective for both partners. It's not a healthy environment for your son to be constantly yelling at each other just to get yourself heard. It's also not healthy for him to see his dad treat mum like this as it will set in his mind how women should be treated (or you could get lucky and it will teach him how women SHOULDN'T be treated). At any rate, it's bad for you both. I'm also concerned about post natal depression. You may not have it, but I'm sure all the stress and frustration certainly wouldn't help keep it away.

And I'd be avoiding the baby #2 thing until you know hubby is worth it. Don't want two kids having to deal with having such a hopeless dad.

you're right it's not healthy for us to yell in front of Jonathan , that's why now i try not to yell cause he will pick up on it & we both don't want that. I'm teaching him from now to respect woman and not to yell at them, i know he doesn't understand.
No i don't have post-natal depression if i did he would know about it. But i'm not going to lie there is stress if he's not helping. His eczema is going really well, i'm using hydrocortisone cream, i'm not looking forward to summer as it will flare up. thanx sweety :)

Tasia: Big :hug: for you hun! Your DH needs to be a lot more supportive of you! Did you go tonight? How did it go if you went? Personally I wouldn't have gone (depends on the occassion of course) I would have made DH go on his own! I know what its like to have the same old arguments all the time, its almost pointless discussing anything cause you know what the outcome will be! We are all here for you, so vent away! I'm always here too if you want to chat! Oh I'd hold off on baby #2 too, its not fair on you either to go through that as well as look after 2 young kids.
Kell: J was fine this morning, he had a great sleep in my bed haha Only his bed wasn't ready when we got home tonight so Chris put him in our bed and his pull ups leaked all over my bed! I was about to change it after I fixed up the washing too but didnt get there in time. He has a matress protector but he had wet that and I hadn't put it back on his bed after I washed it, luckily my bed had the underlay and it didn't go through that. When does BigW's 12c photos end? I want to get some more done and silly me left it till the last minute with the Harvey Norman ones.

It was so hot here today! I love the heat but I was too tired to enjoy it. I got to sleep in until 9am this morning (very rare!) although I did feed Ashlea at 6am. This afternoon we went to SIL's for a swim which was sooo nice!
AF has gone already, she was only here for 3 days and it was so light anyway....who knows whats going on there as I thought the 1st one was meant to be heavier?? Anyone know? Its probably different for each person. If AF has to come every month now I hope its stays as this one was haha.
Quiet day tomorrow I think, I have neglected the house all weekend.
Well I'm off to finish some washing and clean up a little....less I have to do tomorrow.

How r we all this morning? Well I had an ok night last night. Was mostly inside. My mil was ok with me, she held Jonathan & we spoke but not wat happened about sat night. I was inside with the girls & their bubbas. There are these 3 girls that they they are top **** lol. But that's another story.
Tannis- hey sweety, I did end up going last night, it was ok. It was my hubby's uncle name day, it's a greek traditional thing we do.

Well just relaxing after cooking dinner and washing up. Liam is in bed and will wake any moment for his bottle. Callum is playing nicely with his thomas trains. Liam started some farex up at mums house. He loves it. He is only having 1tsp at the moment but after you put the milk in it it ends up being about 5tsp but he doesnt have it all. But he watches me and when the spoon comes to him he opens his mouth way before its near it...lol..so funny. Ill keep him on this for about 1 - 2 weeks then give him some at night as well. Then Lunch after another 1 -2 weeks. He seems to be handling it ok with no upset tummies.
Anastasia well done on the teaching your little on to respect girls/ladies. The girl across the road from me has two boys, one in kindergarden and the other 4. The way she talks to them Doc's should be called. ( eg: get here you f*cken little C88t. Ill f*cking smash you if you done get here now) its is so bad. Those boys are going to grow up with no respect for anyone.
Tannis dont you love AF when she only comes for a little bit. Mine havent been to bad but im waiting and sure it will end up crap the way it use to be. How nice going for a swim. I cant wait till its stinking hot so I can go in my pool. Has to be really hot for me to go in.

This is just a quick one. We are back from Sydney Reaghan did realy well, with the travel and no place to have her proper sleeps durring the day. Yesterday we spent 6 hours walking around, never again am I taking the pram around darling harbour, will onlu use the ergo carrier if I go again, but main I was at harbour side and the parents room sucks.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.... Went into town today and just happened to run into some work friends in Pitt St Mall! So had lunch with them. Other than that just did some errands and caught up on dishes etc. Weighed Beth today at the chemist - 6.92 kilos (with her clothes on) :o so she's doubled her birth weight... no wonder I get a sore arm from carrying her now!

Pixie, was in sydeny because my dh had a course to attend and work paid for us to stay there so only had to pay petrol and food, we stay 15 min walk from darling harbour was great. But looking forward to a weekend at home as the weekend before was in Melbourne.
