    Morning Girls,

Fi, I hope that you managed to get some sleep last night. Bugger about the heearburn though. Only now am I satrting to suffer from it, but even things like ice set it off, how does that work. LOL at your cat too, sounds like a real smoozer. Good to hear that you did well at your shower too, afterall we're supposed to get spoilt at them And, nope, no baby was coming from me this morning. I give up, I think she's staying in there forever. I'm going to be permentley pregnant. Bugger about misplacing your digital camera too. I have all of mine sorted out and have got new batteries ready for it and all.

Tanya, so sorry that your Chamba hasn't come back. It must be so hard when you have sauch a close bond with your animals. Great that your puter is almost ready too.

Deb, I have sent you an email with my mobile number so that I can be included on your special list Great idea girl. I hope that all goes well for you today and that they don't keep you there for too long. At the very least it make you sit down and rest for a while instead of running about so that much is good.

Colleen, your pics turned out great. I would love to do some like that but Mark is soo bad when it comes to taking photos so unless I can find a gf to do them for me I will be going without -again. I had planned on getting professional ones done this time around but becasue I have to pay out so much for bubs birth and postnatal visits it really isn't an option and I want to be able to get newborn ones done like I did with Noah so comprimise it is again.

Sarah, again you look fantastic in yours too. I'm giessing that you had a busy day yesterday as you weren't around much. Either that or you spent it sleeping or making out

Maryanne, hopefully you are holding your little bundle now. If not keep your chin up, like everyone has been saying to me, they can't stay in there forever

I am having a few little contractions this morning but still nothing worthwhile. They come on for around an hour or so then dissapppear for way too long. Got a pretty good nights sleep in and Mark has gone off to work today. He did suggest starting his paternity leave today but what is the point. The way this little girl is going she'll still be in there at the end of the week and there is a week of holidays wasted. Still feel abit seedy, off in the stomach so I'm guessing that I must have some sort of bug. Wish it would go away so my body could concentrate on other things

Hope that everyone has a great day. Belly rubs and labour vibes to all that want them.

    Take care
    Trish

Trish - you do know you wont be permanently pregnant dont you?? What about a walk this morning to help move things along? Put a walkman on your ears and just hobble around the block. I personally cant think of anything worse but I thought I'd offer some constructive advice to you!
And IKWYM about the leave thing. I would love to haev Mum here, but I'd also rather she was here after the birth and with her shop, I can't have it both ways. I'm trygin to conince Shane to sneak some sick leave this week...... Its such a lvoely day it would be nice to spend it together.

Sarah and Colleen - your photos are lovely. A bit game for me, but still gorgeous. Today will be the day I find my camera - I've just got to figure out where it is.

I've already got the baby clothes in the wash, and I think this poor child will be dressed in green, orange, yellow and white for the first 3 months exclusively! I think I overspent on baby stuff...... 8-[
I'm supposed to go for a psych visit this morning, but I've decided to save the $80 and spend it on me instead. I figure a massage is money well spent, and I'm seeing the hospital worker next week anyway.
I managed to get through my last trip to the hossy without getting into hysterics, so maybe I'm getting somewhere? But I better call and cancel first! Don't you hate doing that??

Did anyone else feel a change in their bodies about this time?? I dont know, maybe its cuase I've finished work, but I can really feel things happening inside my body, and I'm wondering if it means I'll go early? Or maybe this is normal? Not sure!
OK - first load of cute baby stuff almost ready to hang out! I hope I have enough pegs!!

Morning all... it's 8:30 and I'm here waiting for Em, to wake up! Geez I have it hard!

Trish, hang in there matey! We always want them to come early nut they just come when they want. Contractions are peeving me off!! Sometimes they are a little bit painful and I think this is it, but then half an hour later they are just BH... I can wait a little longer for my little girl, but these contractions are playing funny buggers with my head! And they are coming and going all the time!

Fi, bugger about the heatburn. I don't suffer too badly from it, so I am pretty lucky, although if I do overendulge, I tend to get a little bit of it.

    Deb, nice pic!!

Dee, I forgot to tell you that a couple of nights ago I had a dream that you had your baby 3 weeks early, and it was a girl...lol. I drempt Sarah had a girl too... so I don't think that means much.

    Well no real news here...boring!

Had a bit of a panic attack / freak out yesterday Trish which is why I wasn't around much. It kinda hit me that this little man has to come out & he has to do it pretty soon! I know it sounds silly, but everything just hit me yesterday & I freaked a bit 8-[ I told Aaron that I feel really bad cos he & mum have been very nervous about the birth, so I have been the strong one saying "yeah yeah it'll all be fine". But now I'm stressing over it & someone has to be in control. I've realaxed a bit, but am still very nervous how I'm going to cope with it all. Mum had to drive Aaron to the station this morning, so I supsect they might have a chat about everything.

    Ok, enough of my whinge

Yay at washing all your baby stuff Fi. Wait til you get it on the line, it looks soooo cute! I was thinking the other day when I had some on the line that it feels like when I was little playing dolls with a little tiny clothesline! Woohooo at feeling a bit better & why not have a massage I think it might be something to do with finishing work, cos in the last week I have felt my body doing some different things - feeling like it's gearing up for the big day or something. Oh yeah, almost forgot - hope you find your camera soon & woohoo at being spoilt at your shower.

Trish I hope you're feeling a bit better today. That's the last thing you need - to be feeling sick. I sent Deb your mobile number by PM as well - so you can be sure she's got it

Good luck with your appointment today Deb. As Trish said, it at least forces you to sit down & have a rest for once. Sounds like you had a great day yesterday. Your belly is looking fantastic, I looooove belly pics & yours is great

Awwww Tanya I really really hope Chamba turns up soon. Maybe he's found a girlfriend & is off making babies of his own?!

Dee it was the second time in about a week for us, but before that we have only DTD 4 times in the entire pregnancy. So yup Aaron is quite happy atm

Oh another thing, not sure if I told you guys yet.... Munchkin has to wait until at least 1.00pm tomorrow before coming! I'm going to get my nails done, legs waxed & a pedicure \/ But mum informs me, she went down on Saturday & organised an eyebrow wax & eyelash tint as well!! I'm going to be soooo spoilt! Most of it was paid for by my sister (& mum now), it was part of my Christmas present. So I'll be away from about 9.30 tomorrow, but come back looking beautiful!!

    :

OMG Sarah! You spoilt wee thing! I want my mummy too so she can buy me nice things!!!
I know it sounds like the most horrible thing to say - but thank you for having a panic attack too!! You make me feel so much more normal!
All I can say is - I totally know how you feel, and at the end of the day it us just up to us to get the baby out. The midwives at the hossy are helping me alot, and specailly meeting a couple that I have confidence in. its liek I trust them to tell me what to do IYKWIM? You dont have to know what to do, and neither does Aaron. It will just happen, and a good midwife, and your mum being there will help you get through it all.
You dont have to be in control. OK?? (Wow - if only I took my own advice!)
YAYAYAYAYAY - I just got my last load of nappies. They are the same as my others, but the woman has just done a pile of dyed ones (Red, Orange, Yellow, Gree, Blue, Purple). They have turned out really bright, and they are awesome. I reckon they are up your alley Sarah. Yay - I'm so happy!!
OK - time to hang out washing. No more BB for the rest of the day or I'll get nothing done!

Good luck this month girls, hope there are lots of birth announcements to read soon. Labour vibes for everyone.

    :

When you find your camera you'll have to take some photos of this nappy system of your Fi.

It doesn't sound horrible, I can totally understand what you mean! The problem with mum is that she had 4 c-sections so she is going into this blind as well IYKWIM.

I haven't caught up on the last few pages so I am not sure what is going on, I just thought that I would report that I am still pregnant. It is never coming out! I go to see my ob today so no doubt he will give me an internal and we will see how it is going.

I have just seen my neighbour walk up and down my driveway. I wonder what that was all about.

I will have a read and catch up with you later.

Fingers crossed your OB can give you some good news Maryann

    :

    Hey again girls,

Sarah, I thought oyur sounded a bit too calm... Sounds like it's all FINALLY sinking in for you. I WANT TO GET SPOILT!! You lucky thing!

Fi!! You're first real day off... aren't you supposed to be taking it easy?

I read something in one of my pg books that I thought I would share. As I mentioned in my last post, my contractions are playing with my head... here's what might be an explaination, "Some multigravidas have 'on again, off again' contractions for several hours per day or night before they finally get into a continuing progressive pattern." It also says, "This can be very confusing." They got that right!!

    Tanya

    :

Oh Maryann - sorry you are still here!
If it makes you feel any better one of the midwives told me she gets really angry when people dish out due dates. She says that babies are cooked anytime between 38 and 42 weeks, and there is no due date! Actually - I'm sure that doesn't make you feel even a little bit better, Sorry :-#
Sarah - wow about your mum - she'll still haev a clue though, if nothing else she'll be there to support you. And as for the camera - still hasn't turned up!
My brother sent me an email saying that he didn't have my address at home, which is a lie, but there you go. He has since sent me some more shots, and since he is quite the photographer, they are fantastic!!! Very arty, and the little girl is gorgeous. He's working his way back into my good books....... Slowly.

what a screwed up night I had.

Dh woke up at 1am with stabbing pains in the stomach. I thought maybe he was going out in sympathy or had to go to the loo iykwim but by 1.30 he was at the emergancy dept. He rang me at 4am to say that the pain went away for a little while but it took morpheine to do it and it was coming back full strength again. They were about to do a ct scan and he said he would make sure I was kept posted. I have the kids home as we slept through the alarm, mind you I only fell asleep at 7 am. I have heard nothing and when i rang i got told nothing so I am feeling really out of the loop right about now.

Tanya I am so sorry your kitty hasnt come back. Hope it does soon. I know what you mean about the annoying contractions that mess with your mind.

Fi Heartburn to me is definately right up there with the worst symptoms of pregnancy. I get it constantly. Try soda water if you can stomach it. It can help relieve it a little.

Sarah this is going to be labour number 3 for me and i am still freaking out about it. Its totally normal. I love your photos they are so very wonderful

Deb Hoping your headache has gone away and good luck with todays appointment.

Trish you are probably glad you go a good nights sleep rather than pushing out little princess last night. She has to come out eventually lets hope its soon for mummy.

Colleen great pics. Id love ones like that however I am not bold enough to do so lol.

Maryann hoping your little buba comes out to meet mummy soon as you sound really fed up.

Belly Rubs to you all and sorry to anyone I have missed. I am very worried about DH.

    :

Gosh Kayla, you're DH is having a bad run of things lately isn't he?! I hope everything's ok & that you get some answers soon.

It's nice of your brother to finally put some effort in Fi. You never know he may have lost your address ??? Well it's possible

LOL Tanya at sounding too calm!! I tend to do that - be calm & collected & then just before things are supposed to happen (exams, new jobs etc) I freak. You'd think I'd know the pattern by now!! That's interesting about the contractions - maybe the same thing has been happening to Trish for a while?

I'm being naughty at the moment :-$ I'm supposed to be doing some work. As you know, I usually work with mum, we decided before I left that there are quite a few things I can do at home & get paid for them. So anyway, I have three pantry sheets to do (order forms for customers really) & I've done one, then came on here. I don't think I could ever work full-time at home, I'd never get anything done!! Better get back to it....

OMG Kayla, lucky you didn't have any. to DH, hope he's feeling better.

    :

    Hi Girls,

Sarah to you sweet. It is sooo normal to get anxious around this time. We all do it. I don't think it matters if it's your 1st or 10th bub there are still new things to be done and learnt. Every baby is different and what worked with the last one doesn't always work with the next. Hopefully your day of pampering tomorrow will help you to relax abit. You will do great both during birth and afterwards as a mum. Like Fi said it really does help to have a good midwife or Dr. that you feel you can trust. Ikwym about the dolls clothes too, especially as how I have girl dolls clothes to hang out. It looks so different to having a line full of little blue clothes.

Fi, Where is that damn camera? Sounds like you've been a busy girl doing all that washing. Good to hear that your brother contacted you. Still he could've called to ask your email add hey??

Tanya, I'm hearing you on the contractions. I've been having them on and off since Saturday. I know they aren't BH becaue they go really low in my tummy and down low in my back into my bum ykwim? They last for anywhere between 10 to 30 seconds and start to get some bite, might hang around for up to an hour then stop altogether. Maybe my body has just forgotten what to do it's been so long since I've laboured. I have been having them for just over the last hour now, but they are just being a pain in the butt. i know that one of these times they have to turn real, just when is the question.

Maryanne, Sorry to be whinging about still being here when you are already overdue. I hope that you get some good news today at the Ob's.

Kayla, poor DH is having it bad lately hey. Well, sounds typical of a man anyway, you are on bedrest so they have to go and get sick too just to feel important. Nasty aren't I You are so lucky that you didn't have any, wouldn't be a great thing for you to get at this stage. I hope that he is feeling better soon.

Deb, your pic looks great hon. I hope that all goes well with your appt. today.

I am stuffed now. I have had Noah laying down in bed since 1.30pm and he just will not go to sleep. I was so hoping for a nana nap. Oh well, it looks like Mark will have to take him out for the afternoon so that I can have a rest. We had swimming today and for the first time in ages he didn't scream \/ Not sure if it had anything to do with mum coming along but if thats the case she can come every week. H e was actually smiling and laughing and having fun, so much a different child there, all the other mums were commenting on the fact that he wasn't screaming. Oh, and of course that I was still pg.

Had a big chat with my midwife today. Told her that it would be really nice if she could just come and break my waters today as it would be really convienient for both of us. She wouldn't be in it But she did say that come wednesday if I was still going she might re think it If I ever entertained the thought of having my kids there while I had this baby they are all gone let me tell you. It is soo hard having contractions and having Noah yell out "wee mum" and having to run him to the loo all while in the middle of a killer contraction.

Labour vibes to you Sarah, Maryanne, Tanya, oh and me Is there anyone else that wants them yet? Belly rubs to you other fine ladies.

    Take care
    Trish

    :

Awww Trish, that little girl of yours is definately wanting to make a grand entrance isn't she?! I can just imagine forever you'll be telling her to hurry up cos she likes to take her time to do things! Yay for Noah going well at swimming, maybe your mum should go each week!

LABOUR VIBES TO EVERYONE!!!! :contract: well, whoever wants them :contract:
