Clockwork fertility there!

Mine was different both times - 6 months with DD1 and 6 weeks with DD2... both fully breastfed, bit weird >.>

Both my girls were fully breastfed, no comps or foods, still waking and feeding through the night and my period came back bang on 6 months with both of them.

11 months with DS...

DD is almost one and still no sign of AF. :crossfingers: Hoping she stays away for a while longer yet!

3 months after DS
5 months after DD1 (altho interestingly she was 3mths corrected)
3.5 months after DD2

All fully breastfed and feeding lots overnight. in fact I was tandem feeding with DS & DD1. Not fair really - would have loved a good year without it!! but I feel safer contraception-wise actually having AF back so I know where I'm at.

Wow Heaven, I'd love to have 14 months before AF came back :)

Kyson was 8-9 months when AF came back. He was still breastfeeding around the clock.

I thought it would be longer after Shayla because I was tandem breastfeeding around the clock, but it turned out that I must have ovulated when she was 5ish months old. Instead of an AF I got a baby hehehe.

Hmmm, I wonder how long AF will take this time while triandem feeding? ;)

If you are fully brestfeeding with no comps or foods, your baby is under 6mnths and you haven't had a period then it is highly unlikely that you will get pregnant. This method is about 97-98% effective. But, if any one of these conditions is breeched - then all bets are off. It is a very effective form of contraception though.

I'm in the 2-3%, lol! Our littlest baby girl very much wanted to join our family and beat all the odds ♥

DD1 & 2, breastfed for 6ish weeks. AF returned around 4 months (Yeah, I don't get it either!)

DS BF for 23 months. AF returned at 9 months, but was 6 - 8 weeks apart for almost 12 months, so guessing no ovulation. DD was conceived at around 21 - 22 months.

DD BF 18 months so far. AF returned at 15 months (even though I was on depo) & has been kinda regular for the past 2 cycles (no depo), so I assume I'm ovulating again now. :dunno:
