2-day periods + ttc

Not sure if it goes here or in ttc... Anyway, since coming off the pill I have only had very short periods. They last about 2 days (or 1 1/2) and are very light. Now, we are going to start ttc in December, so i'm wondering if I actually have enough lining for the egg to implant? I have 30 day cycles with a lp of 12-14 days. Everything seems to be fine except that I have very short periods.
Has anyone here fallen pregnant with 2-day periods? Feeling a bit anxious about it....

I have 3 babies so it's possible. I have an extraordinarily short LP though and that's where my problem lies.

we are TTC atm. my periods last either 3 or 4 days pretty light too. i have a 30 day cycle, but i'm O'ing around CD 23... my LP is only 8-9 days. i'm really stressing about it. i feel like & have read that 8-9 DPO is just not long enough to sustain a pregnancy.

Kim how long are your cycles? what CD did you roughly O? did you take any vitamins or anything to alter it? how long is your LP? sorry on all the questions lol

Only about 24 days. LP 8-9 days. If I know I want to start trying I've seen a naturopath and taken a concoction that has vitex in it. Usually only one or two cycles and it does the trick long enough for me to fall. With DD2 I didn't and she's 20months old, but I did have 2 chems and a m/c trying.

The period is shedding of the lining. The length of it doesn't matter, the luteal phase is the time after ovulation and the start of bleeding, which from what I remember ideally should be 10-14 days. How long you bleed for is irrelevant.

Just thought I'd update in case anyone else has this problem. Kim was right that it doesn't matter, as I fell pregnant on my first cycle. I've got a chubby bubby lying on my lap right now.
