I'm hoping that it was just a bleed because it has been very light. When I posted it I had just wiped bright red blood after a little bit of brown spotting earlier so it was all over as far as i knew. But It has remained very light so here's hoping, fingers crossed, that everything is ok. I rang the ultrasound place to see if I should move my appointment next week forward & she said that spotting in pregnancy is very common especially around when the placenta forms. I've decided to just see how things go & if all is still well then go to my u/s app next week. I can't do anything either way so I'm just going to carry on as normal while desperately hoping that everything is ok.

I have had bleeding through this entire pregnancy with no reason seen on ultrasounds. It has been put down as break through bleeding. I hope it is something similar for you.

:hug: Winter, it's so scary when something like that happens. I am thinking of you and :pray: everything's ok in there! When I was pg with DD I had some spotting at 9 wks and then bright red blood for a day which freaked me out and I thought it was all over but a u/s showed everything was fine :) The spotting lasted a few days and then just went away.

Oh sweets, I am praying all is good.....


From experience, it could just be "a bleed" sweets.. after my 2 late losses i thought any bleeding would be bad, but in the last 2 weeks i have had a bleed, only to find a very healthy bub and a small bleed behind the placenta, which has now cleared up!!

Both my pregnancies had bleeds at about 8 weeks, and we couldn't find a reason for it.

I too have my fingers crossed that your little snowflake is snuggling in for the long haul :hug:

Well I still feel disgusting morning sickness wise and haven't had another bleed so I'm hoping all is well. I have u/s on Thursday so will know by the afternoon if all is well or not. I am really hopeful, I do think I over-reacted to spotting .... as you do....
