Hi dd0207,
I just read your story about losing your beautiful baby boy, and my heart just aches for you. I feel so frasturated for you since you had the classic signs of IC but they didn't listen. I thought I had IC as well, but it was my firboid that let me down. After I lost Joshua, I felt the fibroid was the culprit although my doctor said at the time that the fibroid was only partly to blame. But deep down in my heart I knew what took my baby life away, and I think a mother's intuition is like no other. I will pray for you litlte angel.
I hope life's a bit brighter for you these days.
Love and huge hugs,
Beata xx
Thank you hun. It is so nice of you to read my story. You are so right about mother's intuition. I will fight to the bitter end if I feel my next OB fobs me off.
My heart aches for you too hun. It is so unfair. I hope we can share our pregnancy journey very soon x
See ya over at the TTC thread!
Hi DD,
I am a product of a suture! And so is my sister. My mother had a late loss and about 3 m/c..... finally she found the strength to go to a new ob....Very hard in the early 1970'2 when she was a m/w working in the same hospital! Her new OB gave her the suture and 9 months later she had Belle, my sister. The 4 years later me, i was born on the way home after she had the suture removed! 36weeks but happy and healthy. There were still people that thought she was wrong to swap OBs, but as she says, she wanted a baby more than she wanted friends!
Good luck and God be with you in this journey!
Hi Milly. Very inspirational story, especially coming from a product of a suture! How fabulous that your mum was able to have both you and your sister after suffering her tragic losses. Good on her for changing OBs and not caring what anyone thought. She is right, a baby is far more important than worrying about offending someone. Congrats to you on your lovely kids and thanks again for the post.
Hi DD,
I was thinking about you after i posted.
I remember a few years ago my mum also saying "that it is at times like xmas when she will look up when we are all talking and laughing and think of those that are missing!.... she says that even at her happiest she still feels the loss.
I guess i am saying that you dont EVER have to forget or forgive or move on or get over this....Dont be pressured by anyone, feel all that you need to and dont put a time line on your emotions :)
Thank you so much for your lovely message. I know I will think of my little boy always and never EVER forget him. I am sure that in time the pain will ease a little but his beautiful face will be etched in my mind always.
I have decided to not let people upset me if they can't understand that my life is forever changed since losing my little boy. They are not worth my time or the energy trying to make them understand that I just can't "get over it and move on".
I really appreciate you thinking of me and am sending you and your mum a BIG
