    Overseas dental work ?

Has anyone gone overseas to have dental work done or know someone who has ? Looking for experiences ?

Also wondering if anyone knows of a rough price for a full set of dentures ?

    TIA 😊

    Re: Overseas dental work ?

I'm not sure about pricing but someone I know through work goes on holiday to Thailand every year and has dental work done while he's there. He says you can't beat the price or service and only has good things to say about his dentist there. Apparently, there are some dodgy dentists though.

He also gets his eyes checked and new glasses over there too.

Have you looked at the Thailand medical holidays? I"m pretty sure some of them have prices listed. It might give you a rough idea of what to expect.

    Re: Overseas dental work ?

I think it would depend on what sort of work you want done. Some types of dental procedures have more possibility of things going not as planned, resulting in weeks of after care needed. You would want to avoid having those done o/seas if you can.

Please note: for any people with low incomes, there has recently been a substantial boost of federal govt money into public dental services in every state, so there may be improved access to dental services in your area, worth checking out.
