I start the week with reading the BellyBelly week-by-week pregnancy, telling me Tres is roughly the size of a lemon!
As part of the BellyBelly team as a writer, I joined the week-by-week updates to check all the info was correct, and guess what? I just had to twitch my dates around a few days! So I’ve been getting the updates from the very beginning about my own pregnancy unintentionally!!
Now I look pregnant
I’ve got a beautiful baby bump!! I know it’s more ‘me’ inside that bump (definitely much bigger than
a lemon) than baby Tres but still makes me very happy.
I can finally enjoy food again
We’ve been able to cook for a few days and are making so much nutritious food.
My body still only lets me eat very little and it’s getting rid of it quite frequently. So I’ve decided to just enjoy food and trust myself. It seems my body knows perfectly what I need. I’ve had a few scattered episodes of diarrhea.
They honestly feel like my body’s reaction to the difficulty of passing small hard poops. All of a sudden my body flushes everything down as one of every few days.
This probably means my digestive tract is slowly getting back to functioning.
I enjoy food so much and I’m exploring México so sometimes the call I hear loudest is “Oh just have it if you feel like it, you’re gonna get rid of it anyway…” Guilt-free pleasures! (Not that tend to feel guilty about food often).
Summer in Mexico is HOT
I’ve taken out my new sewing machine and I’m making some curtains. I try to rest and sleep as much as possible so those curtains were a must for taking ‘siestas’ during the day in the sunny Caribbean. We got curtains before we got gas but the curtains depended solely on me while not the gas. I love making things, that feeling of being self-sufficient.
The temperature has increased in the last few days and I hope it’s a temporary heatwave. Later, I was told that apparently, there’s no heatwave. This is summer and the rainy season is starting.
Happy not to be heavily pregnant with this heat.
New pregnancy symptoms this week
My nipples are a bit itchy, nothing major but I’ve noticed this change. I haven’t worn a bra for a long time now and I’m finding scratching much more appealing than putting a bra on. If you wear a bra make sure it’s comfortable and it fits properly. You might find the bra helps with the itchiness as it’s close to your body and it protects them from other friction.
