Watch This Man Find Out He’s Going To Be A Dad

Do you ever wish you had those amazing life-changing moments saved on film? Your baby’s first steps, the birth of your child and, perhaps, your partner’s face when you told him you were pregnant? Well, this clever mama-to-be was smart enough to make sure she did just that.

Make sure you have tissues handy, because this video is definitely going to leave you in tears. After five years of fertility struggles, Doug Price was naturally relieved and overjoyed to find out that his wife was expecting their first child. The couple conceived naturally after five years of infertility.

Here’s how she broke the news:

YouTube user Doug Price uploaded a video entry for a competition to win a trip to Aruba. After spending their honeymoon there, the couple thought it would be good to go back for their tenth wedding anniversary. His wife thought this would be the perfect time to break the news to Doug that, after five years of trying, she was expecting his first child. After announcing she thinks it would be a great babymoon, the mama-to-be reveals a positive pregnancy test and promptly bursts into tears.

Doug looks overwhelmed with emotion, and fights back tears as the filming continues. It’s a beautiful moment, and one that really captures the relief and happiness that couples feel when, after years of negatives, they finally see that positive result in the pregnancy test window. Baby Price is due in November 2015, and this video will be a pretty special keepsake for years to come.

The video, which was had over 5 million views on YouTube didn’t win the competition, but dad-to-be Doug thinks he got the better end of the deal. We can’t help but agree.
