I'd definitely do it... actually I have wanted to do it for years but have never got the nerve up to actually do it. I suffer from IBS and apparently it can help a lot.

    IBS - Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

My husband thinks it is hilarious that I would pay so much money to have someone stick a tube there and flush me out! lol

One place I looked at charges $195 for the first visit and $99 for the subsequent visits... they recommend 6 visits in total.
I find it interesting that it can help with alll sorts of issues including gall stones. I wish I knew that 12-ish years ago.

Thanks mr squidipa- i agree with that of course, but it will be in conjunction with excercise and good diet, i guess it would be like a new start to removing all the toxins which will then help your metabolism im not looking at it like a quick fix

I'd be interested in trying it, I have 'lazy bowel' so I reckon a good flushing of the system might do me some good. I don't think any places in town offer that service though so for now it's on the 'wishlist' for body and beauty treatments

    G, that is so gross!

during labour I was begging for an enema ROFL, but in my 'right mind' I don't know if I could, I would be a bit embarassed I think. Apparently princess Di had weekly sessions done as part of her beauty regime, but having it done that often actually buggers up your bowel as it takes away all the good bacteria that break down the food. Having it done at the start of a weightloss/healthy lifestyle program wouldn't hurt because you can have up to 7kg of undigested food in your bowel at any one time. Once you have a good clean out done you would have to maintain it with loads of fibre, water and metamucil etc.

I have a friend who swears by it, says she feels so refreshed and relaxed afterwards....hmmm reckon I'd be a bit chicken though....having given plenty of high enemas in my lifetime not sure I'd really be able to do it.

it was about 5 years ago, and i went for a series of 3 in a row. it's not worth just going once, you need to go a few times. i think it was a couple of hundred dollars, can't really remember tbh.
i don't think i really lost any weight out of it, but it did make me feel healthier, cleaner, refreshed iykwim?
you get to see everything that comes out of you in a see-thru tunnel next to you, i loved it LOL

My mum had this done a few years ago. She went to about 6 sessions and she said it was fantastic. She not only lost weight, but she felt cleansed and really healthy afterwards.
