    Lactation cookies recipe?

I made a batch of the lactation cookies today, I only got 12 cookies from the batch but I did use a little less oats but I made the cookies the size of my palm.

Anyway I'm wondering how often an how much do I need to eat to see a difference?

I was eating two a day and within a day or two I saw a difference.

Did you use the recipe from here on bb? I can link you to it if you like. I certainly get more than 12, I get loads! How much you need to eat (or if they work for you at all) I think depends on the person. I make mine quite big and two seems to make a difference to me. Not that I can easily stop at just two

Yep I used the recipe from BB. I'm assuming that the cookies should prob be the size of a biscuit you'd get at the shops, maybe 5cm wide, mine are as big as the palm of my hand and probably as least 1cm in height and I have eaten 2 of them today - super yummy I gotta say!!

    Fingers crossed they help!

Question: I am about to make my second batch, first batch seemed to help a little for a day or two but then nothing.

With the 1 cup of butter is that 1 cup of solid butter or 1 cup melted?? I'm going to try more brewers yeast this time.

I usually leave the butter out for a while so it's soft. I think it incorporates into the mixture better that way, I've never tried it melted. With the brewers yeast, make sure you sift it with the dry ingredients, or you'll get patches where it's really strong and some parts not at all.

Does anyone knows how long can the cookies be kept?
