The Fishie Song
Down in the meadow in an itty-bitty pool
Lived three little fishies and the mummy fishie too
"Swim!" said the Mummy Fishie. "Swim if you can!"
So they swam and they swam right over the dam.
a bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
a bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
So they swam and they swam right over the dam.
"Stop," said the Mummy Fish, "or you will be lost!"
But those three little fishies, they did not want to be bossed.
Away they swam and they felt so free
As they swam and they swam right out to sea.
a bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
a bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
As they swam and they swam right out to sea.
Those little fishies, they had so much fun
They did no work til the day was done.
They played and they played; they thought it a lark
Til all of a sudden they saw a shark
a bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
a bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
Til all of a sudden they saw a shark
"Gosh," said the fishies, "just look at the whales!"
Then as quick as they could they turned on their tails
Back to the pool in the meadow they swam
They swam and they swam back over that dam.
a bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
a bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
bom-bom diddum daddum waddem ooh!
They swam and they swam back over that dam - ooh!
Never smile at a crocodile
No you can't be friends with Mr Crocodile
Don't be taken in
By his toothsome grin
He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin
Never smile at a crocodile
Never tip your hat and stop to talk a while
Never run, walk away
Say goodbye and not good day
Clear the aisle and never smile at Mr Crocodile
You may be very well bred
Lots of etiquette in your head
But there's always some special case
Time or place
To forget
Etiquette
Does anyone know the words to the "politically correct" Baa Baa Pink some animal or other. My grandson has learnt this at Daycare and I would like the lyrics
Thanks.
Milo is in love with these British character called the Tweenies.
ATM his favourite song is:
Ten fat sausages
Ten fat sausages sizzling in the pan
Ten fat sausages sizzling in the pan
One went POP
and other went BANG
now theres 8 fat sausages sizzling in the pan
Eight fat sausagaes...
..etc til no fat sausages sizzling in the pan.
This was beautifull to read!! I have a whole lot of afrikaans songs and rhymes that work for Lelani. I sing to her all the time. DH like is, because it makes him sleep also!!! As soon as I begin singing her face lifts and she smiles at me with that beautifull gums!!! I love being a mom!!!!
lol! He LOVES Milo Tweenie!
I've got to put a stop to him saying 'daaaaaarn-cing' instead of dan-cing though!
I'm encouraging him to sing with Grandad Tweenie, I like his accent.

The bear went over the mountain
The bear went over the mountain
The bear went over the mountain
To see what he could see
But all that he could see
But all that he could see
Was the other side of the mountain
The other side of the mountain
The other side of the mountain
Was all that he could see
How about something like She'll be coming round the mountain, but as well as wearing pink pyjamas and riding 6 white horses, maybe she'll be coming over a bridge, or coming through a tunnel, or coming behind an elephant, or before an alien invasion, or in a pirate ship... whatever else takes his interest!
I was singing to ds the other day and having trouble remembering some lines from songs, he just loves music and laughs at my terrible singing. Anyway i googled the words to the frogs song and it gave me a link to here, i never even thought of looking on belly belly (Derr). Should have known you can find everything on here.lol
i don't know if this is the right spot to post this, but i took my ds1 who is two to his first session of mini maestros this morning. if anyone else out there (all of us i am sure) has a littlie that loves to sing and dance then i highly recommend it. it was absolutely brilliant. my ds1 has been buzzing all morning from the songs and dances he has already learnt.
