What would you prefer?

For all those looking at adoption im curious to know if you would rather adopt a newborn baby, or a child that is a little bit older?

XH & I were going to apply to addopt a little chinese baby girl before DD came along. The only reason we didnt is because when we came home from over seas I was already PG with DD (we went to Hong Kong first out of many countries over 11 weeks, so I fell PG about a month after leaving Hong Kong)

Right at this point in time I'd probably adopt an older child if I were to adopt as I'm pretty sure they'd find it harder to find families over "cute" newborns IYKWIM & kids are just great.... skip all the sleepless nights, toilet training etc to look on the brighter side LOL

ETA: I'm NOT looking to adopt but thought you may like my opinion too?

I'd love to adopt a 2-4 year old. I have always wanted to adopt, to give just one child a better life than they may have had.
