havent done it, but would love to - do you mind if i ask how much $$ this would set you back? How did the biological parent take it, did they have to sign over?

I am so jealous that you are doing this, I wish so much for DH to be DD"s legal daddy

Kitt so far cost me 60 dollars, and UNFORUNATLY yes in most cases i believe the biological father has to sign off on this too thats gonna be our trouble. then i believe there is about a 350 fee again. So honestly not much at all. But told it can take a few years. You need to be married for 2 years prior to starting this adoption process.

the biological father has no idea i am doing this and has been out of his life since 8 weeks old thank GOD!!!!

i too am interested in this for the future. Sperm donor hasnt been in childs life for years. DF has been more active then he has. has no contact. i have gone to court and gotten sole custody so he has no legal rights to her but would love DF to legally have rights eventually
