I did my nursing straight from year 12 then worked a few years before doing my mid! Now after 9 years as a mw I am studying again for mchn.

It would be hard with kids but not impossible if you have family and friends support to help look after kids when you have placements etc.

Personally I suggest going nursing first and then mid or doing double degree.
