The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. But walking towards it has become more like wading through thick mud... gah! I only have myself to blame, riding the high of getting good marks in my last couple of assessments, so I've slacked off and been lazy, then suddenly realised that I only have a couple more weeks until my TPS presentation (which I haven't even finished WRITING, let alone MEMORISING well enough to stand up in front of the class and speak!), and I've barely begun researching my major essay, which is something like double the length of our last essay, and it's due in week 11 (I think)... giving me approximately 2 weeks MAX to research if I'm going to leave myself enough time for drafting, polishing and submitting!
Oh dear. I'll never learn, will I? Let's not even mention that I've bailed on maths classes two weeks in a row because I'm sick. to. death. of algebraic EVERYTHING and if I have to look at another exponent, Cartesian plane or stupid fraction, I'm going to punch myself right in the eye....
Give me a kick up the bum, ladies... another late one for me tonight. I really can't afford to slack off and go out with my girlfriends on Saturday night but I'm pretty sure I'm going to explode if I don't take at least one night a week off and get rotten drunk just to take the pressure off! Gah, bring on graduation so I can stop torturing myself with my slackness and having to cram at the last minute every couple of weeks! My thoughts go out to all those who are doing 'real' uni courses and wading through pracs, massive assignments and several subjects at once... you're all very brave, dedicated and awesome ladies! How am I ever going to handle a 'real' uni course if I can barely scrape through the STEPS program?!
