direct entry into midwifery?

hey girls, i was speaking to a friend of mine who is at uni doing div 1/midwifery at uni and she said that in ballarat and in melb you can just do the midwifery without having to do div 1 as well.
I am curious to know where abouts in melb that is?? Does anyone know?

It's not in Vic but University of South Australia do and you can do it externally (Distance education). You can apply direct to the University (via the application body covering all Uni's but I forget what they're called) or you can apply through Open Learning Australia.

ETA: If you want to apply for ACU, still apply. If you don't apply, you can't get in

Unisa is one of the only external direct entry mid programs available.

Monash (Clayton i think, maybe Peninsula) do straight Mid. I really want to do the dual degree at La Trobe... but I have too many memories and couldn't go back!!

I got in to Monash last year... had to turn down the offer as we had moved to NSW. Should have deferred as we were back in time for me to have started this year. However, at your age now you will likely have to sit an STAT test for entry... apparently that is the difficult part.
