Somewhat earlier than expected - I sent in an application well after the extended acceptance date for applications for midyear, expecting to be considered for Sem 1 start next year and lo and behold - I received an offer a week before this Semester begins, to begin study NOW!
So I am a little on the back foot - have ordered my textbooks today, enrolled in two subjects yesterday, accepted the offer the day before, and session begins on the 12th!!

I'll be doing a Bachelor of General Studies (Science) for 18 months, with a view to improving my GPA so I can apply to upgrade to UQ Midwifery in 2013. Apparently if I've done a year of Bachelor Level more than 5 years after my previous (horrendous) study then they discount the original study in calculation of entry rank.

So I just need to do awesomely in this course now that I am older and wiser!
I'm doing Human Bioscience and Sociology in Health this semester

I do have a residential school for four days in Bathurst, NSW next month (YIKES) but I think my FDCarer may be able to help out a bit more so I can leave DS with DP. I'm guessing that will mean an end to our BFing... but we'll see!! Will be far easier than trying to take him with me and find suitable daycare for four days in a place I've never even visited!

Sorry for the long post - anyhow, I'm really excited. And petrified. Did I mention petrified?
