    Midwifery at ACU

    Hi,

I am considering studying midwifery. It has taken me so long to decide a path for myself and I strongly believe that midwifery is a calling that I am really excited about embacking upon. Currently I am looking at studying at ACU Brisbane.

I would love to hear anyones opinions regarding ACU.

    Thanks

Hi Bekz, please find attached a similar link that you may get some good info from. I got into ACU but had to decline my offer for various reasons.

    Hi Bekz,

Just thought I'd let you know that Griffiths Nursing & Mid Course Conenor was unsuccessful in getting the BMid degree in for 2010. She is however, still pushing for it and is encouraging people to write into the vice chancellor about why griffith should have a BMid course.

Also, an update on ACU. When I rang back in January after I got an offer for BMid there they told me I could not enrol part time and that all lectures were compulsory. Well, I've since spoke to a nursing graduate from ACU and she didn't have to go to all the lectures as note are available. Also, I rang the campus last week and asked why you could enrol part time in BMid at their melbourne campus but not Brisbane and the lady on the phone told me that you CAN enrol part time at the brisbane campus. I was totally misinformed when I rang back in January
Anyway, I have just applied online through QTAC to get into ACU again next year and I will do a part time study load.

let me know what you decide.

    Take care

    Tamara
